Thank You Christy For This Verse! I am drinking in the strength and glory of God

Psalm 63:2-4 The Message (MSG)

So here I am in the place of worship, eyes open,

drinking in your strength and glory.

My lips brim praises like fountains.

I bless you every time I take a breath;

My arms wave like banners of praise to you. Everyone be blessed today!!

James 3 ~ The Message Bible

5-6It only takes a spark, remember, to set off a forest fire. A careless or wrongly placed word out of your mouth can do that. By our speech we can ruin the world, turn harmony to chaos, throw mud on a reputation, send the whole world up in smoke and go up in smoke with it, smoke right from the pit of hell.  7-10This is scary: You can tame a tiger, but you can't tame a tongue—it's never been done. The tongue runs wild, a wanton killer. With our tongues we bless God our Father; with the same tongues we curse the very men and women he made in his image. Curses and blessings out of the same mouth!  10-12My friends, this can't go on. A spring doesn't gush fresh water one day and brackish the next, does it? Apple trees don't bear strawberries, do they? Raspberry bushes don't bear apples, do they? You're not going to dip into a polluted mud hole and get a cup of clear, cool water, are you?

My Thoughts About This:

Ouch! I have never read that in the message bible, it is even more convicting than in the amplified bible. Careless words, I think they pop out of my mouth often when I have moved out of divine alignment with God. Holy alignment with God is so necessary in order to keep our hearts right and our tongues from gushing foolishness. Omnipresent Reality Check! Need to keep doing them! Make sure you are in a Holy Alignment with God!

A Seasoned Servant Of God Has Encouraged Me Today

Pastor Elliott Osowitt Faith Fellowship | 513 E. Main Street | Jefferson, NC 28640

Psalm 146:1-10

1 Praise the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.

2 I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.

3 Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save.

4 When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day, their plans come to nothing.

5 Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,

6 the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— the LORD, who remains faithful forever.

7 He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free,

8 the LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous.

9 The LORD watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.

10 The LORD reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Praise the LORD.

Dear Bob and Kim, I just woke up thinking how blessed we are blessed to serve a God Who has such mercy, grace, love, power and care for His creation. And even more amazing is that He can love and call into his service a sinner such as I. No matter what trials we must go through, our God is greater than those trials. No matter how hard the problem that seems to have no solution, our God is greater than that problem.

No matter how far our children may stray, they are never beyond the reach of God's mercy and grace.

Our God already knows what is going to happen. His plan is already set. We are to only believe and trust in His overall, perfect will. Pastor Elliott

I woke up remembering that today is a new day and God has His plan for it for me and for you.

Will you rise up above your mere existence to be part of something much greater than yourself today?

Will you choose to faithfully serve Him in His divine and blessed will for your life today?

Our God's will is above the ordinary and the usual. He does not call you and offer to save you from the world so you can continue following your own way or the ways of man. He calls you OUT to be a part of something greater than what the world has to offer. It will always be greater to be a servant in the Kingdom of God than to be satisfied and content in an existence in the world. Think about it. May the Lord of Heaven and Earth be evident in your life today. Pastor Elliott

My Thoughts About This:

God is greater than how I feel today. I need to follow after God, not after my feelings because that is what a Champion in Christ would do. I want to serve His will and it is the greater choice. This is a new day, a new season is beginning in my life and I have a divine appointment in Columbus Georgia. God knows what is going to happen there, He has a plan already set and now I must go. I believe in the overall plan of My AWE-GOD! I know His will for me is perfect in Kingdom purpose!

Verse Of The Day@biblegateway.com

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us," Hebrews 12:1 NIV

Today's passage is from the New International Version.

Listening To Hebrews 12 Notes Taken:

We are surrounded by those cheering for us from heaven, so run hard. Fix your eyes on Jesus, Who for the JOY set before Him endured the cross. Consider Jesus, consider His opposition from sinful men. In our struggle against sin, we have not had to shed our blood. Don't lose heart when God rebukes you, He punishes everyone He accepts as a son. For what son is not disciplined by His Father. Respect God, submit to The Father of our Spirit. God disciplines us for our good that we may share in His Holiness. It is not pleasant but it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace by those trained by it. Make level paths for your feet, so the lame is not disabled, but healed. Make every effort to live in peace with all men. See that no bitter root grows up to defile you. You have not come to a mountain that can't be touched burning with fire… If even an animal touches the mountain it must be stoned. We are from the city of the living God, to the church of the 1st born Whose names are written in heaven. We come to God, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant. See to it that we don't refuse God. God warns us from heaven, don't turn away from Him. God will shake the heavens and earth. The removing of created things, so what can't be shaken remains. We are receiving a Kingdom that can't be shaken, let us be thankful. Our God is an consuming fire! Accept Him with reverence and AWE!

My Thoughts About This:

Omnipresent Reality Check: Because we have so much encouragement from God, we can fix our eyes on Jesus and run hard! Bitterness is dangerous not to the object of the bitterness but to the one Who retains the bitterness. Bitterness likes to root deep and change sweet fruit to sour grapes. Everything that touches our lives is for our good, God is thinking of us, God is growing us, God is creating His Image in our soul, His character in our mind, His ways in our spirit. If the Holy Spirit warns you, do not turn away from Him, fully face Him and see the fullness of Truth! Bitter people evolve in their spirit to be the object of their bitterness, they take on the same deeply sinful characteristics of the person Who has hurt them.

Excerpts-Thoughts From The Bridegroom's Voice

July 27th 2011 My Thoughts: From The Bridegroom's Voice Week One:

  • We were wanted! We were wanted so much that both The Father God and The Son, Jesus made an extreme sacrifice.
  • How can we not respond to so great a love?
  • Immeasurable - Incalculable love! We can't figure it out, we can't out spend it, we can't calculate the inestimable fathomless value of it.
  • Because Jesus's love stayed the narrow course of death on our behalf, it did not stray from its Kingdom purpose and we have eternal life.
  • It is a courageous love, a love that is not afraid of sacrifice, a willess love that forfeited its kingship rights to become a worldly pauper.
  • This love that Jesus has for the Bride of Christ is hard to wrap my earthy mind around as it saturates my heart with eternal hope.

John 3:16

For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

Amplified Bible

16 "This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.

Message Bible

My Thoughts About This Verse:

  • So much was given up for me, for us that we might be able to receive eternal life. God thought of us as that valuable, that He gave His Only Son to be crucified. This impacting love demands an impacting response, a response from the all of us.
  • If I believe in Jesus, then I will respond to Him with a complete trust.
  • Trust is clinging to God when the world wants to pull you away.
  • Reciprocating love relies on the lover of its soul to guide the way in this world, so our affections are not wasted on temporary things.
  • I feel like God's love completed the circle of life in me, there is no more dead end. I have a future and a hope in my now.
  • God's love makes me whole-hearted, which to me means I don't have to do things completely by my will, my obedience does not divide me, it is will powered and heart felt!

Deuteronomy 7:6-9

6  For you are a holy and set-apart people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a special people to Himself out of all the peoples on the face of the earth. 7  The Lord did not set His love upon you and choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the fewest of all people. 8  But because the Lord loves you and because He would keep the oath which He had sworn to your fathers, the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. 9  Know, recognize, and understand therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, Who keeps covenant and steadfast love and mercy with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations,

6 Do this because you are a people set apart as holy to God, your God. God, your God, chose you out of all the people on Earth for himself as a cherished, personal treasure.

7 God wasn't attracted to you and didn't choose you because you were big and important-the fact is, there was almost nothing to you.8 He did it out of sheer love, keeping the promise he made to your ancestors. God stepped in and mightily bought you back out of that world of slavery, freed you from the iron grip of Pharaoh king of Egypt.9 Know this: God, your God, is God indeed, a God you can depend upon. He keeps his covenant of loyal love with those who love him and observe his commandments for a thousand generations

AWE- ALMIGHTY GOD!

Make My Life Excellent In You-Constant In Your Courage!

Excerpts-Thoughts From The Bridegroom's Voice

July 26th, 1011 My Thoughts: From Week One:

  • My Infinite Love, intermingled with your faith in Me, creates a beautiful-legitimate unity.
  • Create a unity Lord Jesus, between my finite life and Your Infinite Love! Create between us a beautiful unanimity.
  • Jesus Your Love is faithful through all… not just during my good times, the good seasons but the hard times, the struggling times, Your love forbears! Thank You Jesus!
  • I consciously choose a sacrificial love! I decide today to prefer, select, choose You Jesus, Your Ways, Your Kingdom will for my all and everything! Jesus! You showed me how to love with a sacrificial love and I will follow Your Living Legacy of Salvation-Sacrifice!
  • I purposely chose to love and obey My Father God and I surrendered My life because of the huge adoration between a Son, His Father and His chosen people.
  • Knowingly He died for me, intentionally, Jesus gave His life, sacrificing so I could be forgiven and live forever. The goal of His salvation for me was sacrifice. Jesus stayed the course. He suffered for my salvation! Do I do the same for others?

John 15:10-16

If you keep My commandments [if you continue to obey My instructions], you will abide in My love and live on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father's commandments and live on in His love.11  I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing.12  This is My commandment: that you love one another [just] as I have loved you.13  No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends.14  You are My friends if you keep on doing the things which I command you to do.15  I do not call you servants (slaves) any longer, for the servant does not know what his master is doing (working out). But I have called you My friends, because I have made known to you everything that I have heard from My Father. [I have revealed to you everything that I have learned from Him.]16  You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], He may give it to you.

Amplified Bible Copyright © 1954, 1958, 1962, 1964, 1965, 1987 by The Lockman Foundation

10 If you keep my commands, you'll remain intimately at home in my love. 17 "But remember the root command: Love one another.

The Message Copyright © 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 2000, 2001, 2002 Eugene H. Peterson by NavPress Publishing

My Thoughts About This Verse:

  • Obedience! Whole hearted obedience, where my will, heart, soul, mind and spirit are undivided in surrendered to God's Kingdom Purposes. This kind of obedience is the conduit of God's Love.
  • God's love was modeled to us, it was sacrificial. This is God's nature, the nature of His Love. He is willing and able to give all. This is how we need to love too. God has shown us the righteous way to love, the path to right living and we need to follow it in our thoughts, words, actions and deeds.
  • Jesus, telling all, being vulnerable and trusting us with His wisdom of the greatest infinite love ever, as our Father God looked on and hoped huge we would choose to follow it! God's Love is a two-way choice. We chose to completely receive it, we choose to wholly give it.
  • God's love is Infinite in nature! God's love is not stagnate in us. He seeds His living love in us. It grows, it bears Kingdom fruit in our lives.

Mark 14:32-41

Then they went to a place called Gethsemane, and He said to His disciples, Sit down here while I pray. 33  And He took with Him Peter and James and John, and began to be struck with terror and amazement and deeply troubled and depressed. 34  And He said to them, My soul is exceedingly sad (overwhelmed with grief) so that it almost kills Me! Remain here and keep awake and be watching. 35  And going a little farther, He fell on the ground and kept praying that if it were possible the [fatal] hour might pass from Him. 36  And He was saying, Abba, [which means] Father, everything is possible for You. Take away this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You [will]. 37  And He came back and found them sleeping, and He said to Peter, Simon, are you asleep? Have you not the strength to keep awake and watch [with Me for] one hour? 38  Keep awake and watch and pray [constantly], that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. 39  He went away again and prayed, saying the same words. 40  And again He came back and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy; and they did not know what answer to give Him. 41  And He came back a third time and said to them, Are you still sleeping and resting? It is enough [of that]! The hour has come. The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinful men (men whose way or nature is to act in opposition to God).

Amplified Bible Copyright © 1954, 1958, 1962, 1964, 1965, 1987 by The Lockman Foundation

38 Stay alert, be in prayer, so you don't enter the danger zone without even knowing it. Don't be naive.

The Message Copyright © 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 2000, 2001, 2002 Eugene H. Peterson by NavPress Publishing

My Thoughts About This Verse:

  • what a love! Jesus stayed the course, working through horrendous human emotions until His will was broken and Kingdom love stood firm.
  • Jesus showed us that love is worth sacrificing for. He showed us that true love does not come easy. He taught us that temptations are strong to have a love that is self centered, a love that is not powerful in sacrifice.
  • Jesus showed us that our love walk is shored up by prayer and by laying down our will before our Father God.
  • Oh, to love like Jesus did. He choose to put His pure life into the hands of sinful men whose wills were bent by selfish disobedient pride. All for us! Oh what a love!
  • Jesus' dedication to God enriched His love with the strength of self sacrifice and a will bent outward, away from inner selfishness - towards Kingdom purpose.

My Heart Thoughts From This Song: Worship Wisdom! Changing Me!

Blessings!

We pray for blessings. We pray for peace. Comfort for family. Protection while we sleep. We pray for healing-prosperity. We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering. All the while, You hear each spoken need. Yet love is way too much to give us lesser things. Cause, what if you blessings come through raindrops, what if your healing comes through tears. What if a 1000 sleepless nights is what it takes to know you are near. What if trials in this life are your mercies in disguise.

We pray for wisdom, Your voice to hear. We doubt your goodness, we doubt your love, as if every promise from your word is not enough. All the while you hear each desperate plea. If only we had faith to believe. What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise. When friends betray us and darkness seems to win, we know that this is not our home…. This is not our home.

We pray! If only we had faith to believe! What if trials of this life are God's mercies in disguise? http://ow.ly/5NrQ7 @worldprayr #prayer

I think of the silver lining of Your Love! When I think of streams that weaves through desert lands, I think of You. When I think of children laughing and families reconciled, I think of You. When I think of the joy of answered prayer, I smile. I think of You redeeming every part of this day that You've made. I think of You, Lord God. It was You Who paid the highest price for broken jars of clay. You still choose to use my life. I think of You I think of You Who shines with endless light through broken jars of clay. I think of You! I think of You! Jesus!

Don't judge people by the call you have to God. We are all different. Each of us are unique and special and are called to God in the specific way He planned.

We are listened to only because of the divine Favor or our Lord Jesus Christ. Never forget the power behind each word is HIS!

AWE- ALMIGHTY GOD!

Make My Life Excellent In You-Constant In Your Courage!

I Kimberly Ann McCarthy am determined to be found in the Love of Christ that has been lavished upon me with such abundance. Infinitely So! I will gratefully and with thanksgiving receive this great love of my AWE-GOD and love everyone, everyday, everywhere!

A Seasoned Servant Of God Has Encouraged Me Today

Pastor Elliott Osowitt

Romans 5:1-5

1 Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 We have also obtained access through Him by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

3 And not only that, but we also rejoice in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance,

4 endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope.

5 This hope will not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Dear Bob and Kim,

I grew up hearing stories of the Great Depression from my folks and aunts and uncles. My parents and grandparents on both sides of the family did what they had to do during those very tough years. They grew gardens and didn't even own a tiller. There were no unemployment benefits. The government was not their savior as it is for so many today. Many died young because of the lack of health care. Many children died of pneumonia, polio, or other respiratory diseases before their fifth birthday. You only need to walk through an old cemetery and read the headstones to get some idea of the trials and tribulations of those who lived during the depression.

These people, our ancestors, went through a crisis of faith that our generation has never known. How did they come out? Well, if you know your history, at the end of the 1920's, known as Roaring 20's, the economy crashed. God's people shared their meager rations with each other. Many communities had a soup kitchen. Corn bread, biscuits, and water gravy were their 'manna' from heaven; a blessing of God. Food and clothes were no longer taken for granted. Praise was given to God for every little blessing of life.

Churches grew and new churches sprang up all over the country. The Bible was a text book in public school, paid for by tax money, and used as a primer reader in the home. Souls were saved.

3 And not only that, but we also rejoice in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance,

4 endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope.

Could your faith stand another crisis on the scale of the Great Depression? I believe the things you think you could not live without today would suddenly be viewed as useless, superficial, or unnecessary. Maybe what we would end up with in America are men and women, boys and girls with proven character and hope that endures. What do you think? Pastor Elliott

My Thoughts About This:

I think you are 100 percent correct! We live in a culture of the self-indulgent where excess feeds the need of our American soul. We need to get back to the basics. Whatever it takes for God to return us back to Him, heart to heart and spirit to spirit where we fully face our God, He will do. The Holy Spirit has told me every time I go to the grocery store to pick up something extra and store it, to pick up extra water and store it. I know something is up and I hope that I will be ready to help others because that is our call to God!

6While we were yet in weakness [powerless to help ourselves], at the fitting time Christ died for (in behalf of) the ungodly.

****My Prayer! I Place All My Expectation In You, Almighty God!*****

Thank you for Bob, thank you that He is fully leading our family, thank you for his headship, guide and direct him Jesus by Your Spirit, open the door for our mortgages to be changed out. Jesus!

Matthew 10:32-38

32  Therefore, everyone who acknowledges Me before men and confesses Me [out of a state of oneness with Me], I will also acknowledge him before My Father Who is in heaven and confess [that I am abiding in] him.33  But whoever denies and disowns Me before men, I also will deny and disown him before My Father Who is in heaven.34  Do not think that I have come to bring peace upon the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.35  For I have come to part asunder a man from his father, and a daughter from her mother, and a newly married wife from her mother-in-law--36  And a man's foes will be they of his own household. 37  He who loves [and takes more pleasure in] father or mother more than [in] Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves [and takes more pleasure in] son or daughter more than [in] Me is not worthy of Me;38  And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conforming wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also] is not worthy of Me.

In His Eyes

Sometimes His eyes were gentle and filled with laughter and sometimes they cried.

The eyes that see hope in the hopeless – see through the fog to the need.

These eyes look down from heaven to the deepest part of me. Jesus! His eyes are always upon us and no matter where you go, you will be in HIS EYES! AWE-GOD

He Who spoke peace to the water, cares more for our hearts than the waves. The voice that says you are forgiven still says we are forgiven today.

Psalm 40:3

a.w.tozer quotes from "the knowledge of the holy"

Whatever God is, and all that God is, He is in Himself. All life is in and from God, whether it be the lowest form of unconscious life or the highly self-conscious, intelligent life of a seraph. No creature has life in itself; all life is a gift from God.

God has a voluntary relation to everything He has made, but He has no necessary relation to anything outside of Himself.

It may be stated as an axiom that to stay alive every created thing needs some other created thing and all things need God.

The river grows larger by its tributaries, but where is the tributary that can enlarge the One out of whom came everything and to whose infinite fullness all creation owes its being?

Since He is the Being supreme over all, it follows that God cannot be elevated. Nothing is above Him, nothing beyond Him. A.W. Tozer

Jeremiah 31:3

3  The Lord appeared from of old to me [Israel], saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.

Amplified Bible Copyright © 1954, 1958, 1962, 1964, 1965, 1987 by The Lockman Foundation

Jeremiah 31:2-4

This is the way God put it: "They found grace out in the desert, these people who survived the killing. Israel, out looking for a place to rest,3 met God out looking for them!" God told them, "I've never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love, and more love! 4 And so now I'll start over with you and build you up again, dear virgin Israel. You'll resume your singing, grabbing tambourines and joining the dance.

My Thoughts About This Verse:

God's love for us never quits! I can't even count the number of times my love has failed when it was tested! God is so willing to forgive and forget about our foolish failures and I love that He always picks up right where we are at and pulls us forward into His wisdom. This is true love. Do I have it yet? No! Do I want it! Yes!

Hebrews 8:5-7

And have you [completely] forgotten the divine word of appeal and encouragement in which you are reasoned with and addressed as sons? My son, do not think lightly or scorn to submit to the correction and discipline of the Lord, nor lose courage and give up and faint when you are reproved or corrected by Him;6  For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes.7  You must submit to and endure [correction] for discipline; God is dealing with you as with sons. For what son is there whom his father does not [thus] train and correct and discipline?

Amplified Bible Copyright © 1954, 1958, 1962, 1964, 1965, 1987 by The Lockman Foundation

So don't feel sorry for yourselves. Or have you forgotten how good parents treat children, and that God regards you as his children? My dear child, don't shrug off God's discipline, but don't be crushed by it either. 6 It's the child he loves that he disciplines; the child he embraces, he also corrects. 7 God is educating you; that's why you must never drop out. He's treating you as dear children. This trouble you're in isn't punishment; it's training, 8 the normal experience of children. Only irresponsible parents leave children to fend for themselves. Would you prefer an irresponsible God? 9 We respect our own parents for training and not spoiling us, so why not embrace God's training so we can truly live? 10 While we were children, our parents did what seemed best to them. But God is doing what is best for us, training us to live God's holy best.

My Thoughts About This Verse:

Discipline and Love are not synonymous in our human culture. God is made to look like an angry God at times. We don't understand the discipline of God or a understand the concept that a loving God will discipline us or that discipline is love in action. It is though, because the times I have been disciplined by God have turned out to be the best times of growth for me and a place of peace that is unsurpassed by human expectation. I think incorrectly about discipline because I know the truth is when God disciplines me, He is loving me at His best! Don't be crushed in heart by God's discipline, He never means to break our spirit, only to shape our will! Submit to God!

Revelations 3:8-14

know your [record of] works and what you are doing. See! I have set before you a door wide open which no one is able to shut; I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept My Word and guarded My message and have not renounced or denied My name.9  Take note! I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say they are Jews and are not, but lie--behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet and learn and acknowledge that I have loved you. 10  Because you have guarded and kept My word of patient endurance [have held fast the lesson of My patience with the expectant endurance that I give you], I also will keep you [safe] from the hour of trial (testing) which is coming on the whole world to try those who dwell upon the earth.11  I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, so that no one may rob you and deprive you of your crown.12  He who overcomes (is victorious), I will make him a pillar in the sanctuary of My God; he shall never be put out of it or go out of it, and I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which descends from My God out of heaven, and My own new name. 13  He who can hear, let him listen to and heed what the Spirit says to the assemblies (churches).14  And to the angel (messenger) of the assembly (church) in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the trusty and faithful and true Witness, the Origin and Beginning and Author of God's creation:

8 "I see what you've done. Now see what I've done. I've opened a door before you that no one can slam shut. You don't have much strength, I know that; you used what you had to keep my Word. You didn't deny me when times were rough.

9 "And watch as I take those who call themselves true believers but are nothing of the kind, pretenders whose true membership is in the club of Satan-watch as I strip off their pretensions and they're forced to acknowledge it's you that I've loved. 10 "Because you kept my Word in passionate patience, I'll keep you safe in the time of testing that will be here soon, and all over the earth, every man, woman, and child put to the test.11 "I'm on my way; I'll be there soon. Keep a tight grip on what you have so no one distracts you and steals your crown. 12 "I'll make each conqueror a pillar in the sanctuary of my God, a permanent position of honor. Then I'll write names on you, the pillars: the Name of my God, the Name of God's City-the new Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven-and my new Name. 13 "Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches."Laodicea 14 Write to Laodicea, to the Angel of the church. God's Yes, the Faithful and Accurate Witness, the First of God's creation, says:

My Thoughts About This Verse:

God's Love Is Huge! God's love can do things that man's love cannot even begin to hope to do. God's love opens doors for us that no man can open! His love protects and keeps us and grows us through times of testing. His love displays itself in the safe-keeping it provides for us always and forever! It is me God loves and He has proved it and will continue to prove it according to His great Kingdom purposes at work in me. I have seen God's love in action! I have seen Him open a door that no man could open! Very Cool! #AWE-GOD!

1 John 4:7-14

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is (springs) from God; and he who loves [his fellowmen] is begotten (born) of God and is coming [progressively] to know and understand God [to perceive and recognize and get a better and clearer knowledge of Him].8  He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love.9  In this the love of God was made manifest (displayed) where we are concerned: in that God sent His Son, the only begotten or unique [Son], into the world so that we might live through Him.10  In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins.11  Beloved, if God loved us so [very much], we also ought to love one another.12  No man has at any time [yet] seen God. But if we love one another, God abides (lives and remains) in us and His love (that love which is essentially His) is brought to completion (to its full maturity, runs its full course, is perfected) in us!13  By this we come to know (perceive, recognize, and understand) that we abide (live and remain) in Him and He in us: because He has given (imparted) to us of His [Holy] Spirit.14  And [besides] we ourselves have seen (have deliberately and steadfastly contemplated) and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son [as the] Savior of the world.

Amplified Bible Copyright © 1954, 1958, 1962, 1964, 1965, 1987 by The Lockman Foundation

7 My beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God.8 The person who refuses to love doesn't know the first thing about God, because God is love-so you can't know him if you don't love.9 This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him.10 This is the kind of love we are talking about-not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they've done to our relationship with God. 11 My dear, dear friends, if God loved us like this, we certainly ought to love each other.12 No one has seen God, ever. But if we love one another, God dwells deeply within us, and his love becomes complete in us-perfect love! 13 This is how we know we're living steadily and deeply in him, and he in us: He's given us life from his life, from his very own Spirit.14 Also, we've seen for ourselves and continue to state openly that the Father sent his Son as Savior of the world.

My Thoughts About This Verse:

When we choose to love, we are not doing so in our own strength, the love of God is in us and works through us! It is so cool to know that when we love others, God's love is also in us, working through us and running it course. We never love alone, God loves through us. How cool is that! Especially knowing the quality of His Love! When we love others, God's love comes alive in us, lives in us! I can hardly comprehend what that might look like in me or understand the power of that truth! Even thinking about the fact that God's love, His love in action was to send His only Son to die for me, it completely blows what I know out of the water! I have had a little view of God's Love, this verse gives me a HUGE view of God's love. I know I probably won't ever comprehend the full scope of God's love on this side of heaven. I just humbly receive it!

God's Holy Spirit gives life, strength, boldness to the condition of our human love, helping us to endure in His love! Thank you Father God for Your love, I pray You reveal yourself to me daily and help me to walk in the strength of Your love, may it cover my human condition with Your supernatural character!

Worthy News Brief @worthyemail.com

Kimberly, your reward is before you!

Isaiah 40:10 Behold, the Lord God shall come with a strong hand, And His arm (z'roah in Hebrew) shall rule for Him; Behold, His reward is with Him, And His work before Him.

Revelation 22:12 "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.

Isaiah tells us that the LORD'S Arm shall rule for Him and that He is coming with reward -- and a similar passage in Revelation declares that the Lord Yeshua (Jesus) is coming to reward His saints.

We live this earthly life recognizing that we are "strangers and pilgrims" [Hebrews 11:13] in this world -- but are working now in full expectation of a heavenly future. C.S. Lewis once wrote, "If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world!"

We know we were made for another world, where the treasure we have stored while working here will neither rust nor corrode, nor be stolen. If you're looking for a pat on the back now [not that praises shouldn't be given or received], you've missed the point of ministry.

This reminds me of a story. There was a husband and wife who served many years in the ministry as missionaries in a far away land. As they returned to the States, the arriving ship was greeted by a brass band. Their initial thought was that this was an arranged greeting to honor them -- but soon discovered that a dignitary was also on the ship. They collected their luggage and booked a cheap motel room. While sitting on the bed, the husband started to cry and said, "We've served God for many years. We've got no money, no house, and when we've returned home, there's not even anyone to meet us!" His wife looked at him and said, "Hon, we're not home yet!"

Kimberly, we're not home yet! Don't believe for a minute that your work in this world is going unseen in Heaven. "For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and the love which ye showed toward his name, in that ye ministered unto the saints, and still do minister." [Hebrews 6:10] Let's be earnestly seeking His praise that when we see Him face to face, He may say to all of us, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant!" A true homecoming...and a true reward!

Your family in the Lord with much agape love, George, Rivka, Elianna & Obadiah

Negev Desert, Israel

My Thoughts About This:

You know all of us servants of God grow through that! Our human condition wants for us to be recognized for what we do, patted on the back. I love that verse, it really helps to get that verse in my heart and know that God does not forget my work for and unto Him. Very cool thought, you know truth really does bring freedom! AWE-GOD!

Exhortation- The Shepherd's Communicated Love-Wisdom!

Honestly, I am just going with the flow of the Holy Spirit.  My will is broken.  I feel a passion for going to Georgia, God really spoke to me last week.  Took a whole week off from everything I usually do for God, not even one tweet went out!! God showed me that He wanted me to take my obedience past the will, He wanted me to go with a complete obedience, with my will engaged yes, but also with my heart, soul, mind and spirit engaged... Undivided! Complete Obedience!  It was an interesting week for me! But God.... He always prevails! Always!

Deuteronomy 28:1-2,7,9,12-14

Blessings for Obedience

1 If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God: 3 You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. 7 The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.

9 The LORD will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the LORD your God and walk in his ways. 10 Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will fear you.

12 The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. 13 The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. 14 Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them.

What gives us conviction of sin is not the number of sins we have committed; it is the sight of the holiness of God. Martyn Lloyd-Jones

The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all;

AWE-GOD! Very cool! You know it was not a coincidence that you had a big failure on the very week when we were moving into increased presence online! I think we can safely say, we are stepping right into the flow of God's Purpose and the enemy was not happy with that. BUT GOD, He made a miraculous way for us to win that battle waged by our enemy and when we stay strong in faith like you and Oscar did great things happen when we are in Holy Alliance with God! Many are the trials of God's servant-warriors, but God delivers us out of them all and the cool thing is we grow in faith and stature through every one of them! God is so great and we are all so blessed to be a part of this online campus team... all for Jesus! Have a great week everyone! Yeah God!

His Eye Is On The Sparrow

Psalm 19: The Message Bible

11-14 There's more: God's Word warns us of danger

and directs us to hidden treasure.

Otherwise how will we find our way?

Or know when we play the fool?

Clean the slate, God, so we can start the day fresh!

Keep me from stupid sins,

from thinking I can take over your work;

Then I can start this day sun-washed,

scrubbed clean of the grime of sin.

These are the words in my mouth;

these are what I chew on and pray.

Accept them when I place them

on the morning altar,

O God, my Altar-Rock,

God, Priest-of-My-Altar.

My Thoughts About These Verses As I Listen To The Holy Spirit:

I really like that! Clean the slate Lord God, so I can start this day fresh and new. I like that too, the suggestion that stupid sins are when we try to "fix it", when we don't believe God can do it and we take control. When we don't wait on God, give Him the time He needs to work and we impatiently and impulsively light our own fires and walk by the light of a man made fire!

Goal Setting:

Used by any person who wants to achieve. If you have had a conversation with someone about success, this word has to come in the conversation. This word is essential to success. You must kow what you are doing, where you are going and what is happening. You have to have steps towards success. Goal setting is steps pointed into a direction to a desired achieved goal. Lay out your goals-steps and start walking!

My Thoughts About This:

The 1st thought that came in my mind as I listened to this today was the scripture that says the steps of a Godly person are ordered by the Lord, therefore I believe goal setting starts with a conversation with God!

Genesis of Wisdom

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; and all who follow His precepts have good understanding. To Him belongs eternal praise." Psalm 111:10

The fear of the Lord is foundational to the attaining of Almighty God's wisdom. It is out of holy reverence that heaven opens its doors of understanding. The creation will never begin to understand the Creator until there is a coming to minds over who is superior and who is the author of salvation.

Once there is capitulation to Christ, surrender to your Savior, which positions you to receive His good gifts, chief of which is wisdom. Your holy heavenly Father rewards respect and awe with wisdom from above. However, the cavalier takes Christ for granted and loses sound judgment. But, the fear of the Lord is your foundation for wise living. It is in these humble beginnings that wisdom originates.

God's wisdom is found in God's word. His precepts are meant to protrude from your mind like road signs on a highway. Sometimes you need to exit for fuel and rest, but other times it is wise to change directions and invite others to join you. To know God, so as to walk upright before Him, is the greatest of all applied sciences. Hence, wisdom is much more than knowledge, otherwise education alone would be the answer to all human suffering. Wisdom confesses Christ as Wisdom.

"It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption" (I Corinthians 1:30).

It is the life of Christ who models wisdom personified. It is the Holy Spirit who gives illumination and understanding to Holy Scripture. And it is your heavenly Father who invites you to ask for wisdom, so that you can live an obedient in Him. The attaining of wisdom is for aligning your life around the attributes of Almighty God.

You learn to apply what the Lord thinks not only to your life, but for the benefit of others as well. It is not all about you becoming a wise person; rather it is about your life glorifying God to others. Wisdom is not an end in itself, but a means to an end. It is a bridge to obedience. You gain understanding and insight, so that you can be a radical follower of Jesus and a beacon to others.

Practical godliness is a test of wisdom. So use your wisdom to mediate broken relationships, to foresee problems, to serve the team, to love your family and to point people to Jesus. Wisdom places faith in Christ out front and humbly decreases attention away from self. Therefore, use wisdom to gain understanding, obey God and lead people into a growing relationship with Christ. To Him alone belongs eternal praise for His gift of wisdom!

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise" (Psalm 111:10).

How can I grow in my fear of the Lord and grow in God's wisdom?

Numbers 20:9-12

9 So Moses took the staff from the Lord's presence just as He had commanded him.

10 Moses and Aaron summoned the assembly in front of the rock, and Moses said to them, "Listen, you rebels! Must we bring water out of this rock for you?"

11 Then Moses raised his hand and struck the rock twice with his staff, so that a great amount of water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank.

12 But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not trust Me to show My holiness in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this assembly into the land I have given them."

Dear Bob and Kim,

How many times do you think you have prevented God's blessings on your life due to a lack of faith? I can't even imagine how many times have I changed what God told me to do or not do, thinking I had a better way than what His Word made very plain and simple. Forgive me, Lord, for limiting your power in my life.

Thank God this is a new day. Today I resolve "to trust and obey for there for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus".
