Yesterday was the pits of hell, because I took myself there and jumped in with my impulsive nature. I am so upset with myself today. It was the classic temptation of my mind, listening to the enemy tell me about my rights and incite my soul with anger and self righteousness and I followed. I heard God say back off, I heard him, yet I just kept following my flesh and I ended up spewing so much junk and anger out at an unsuspecting bank employee, that really did not deserve to be treated with such contempt. I feel awful, I have beat myself up over it because it has been a long while since I acted that childish and I feel so vulnerable and foolish. Father forgive me and cause me to come to You today, I am looking for a new start. Jesus! I realize I am still very capable of that once again being that old person, You died for, You changed… how sad that I reverted backwards. One step backwards yesterday and I am hoping huge for two steps forward today In Christ Jesus.



Thank you for your message this past weekend. It was so anointed and the perfect word for times such as these. You continue to be AWE-MAZING in your discernment and shepherding of us all and I am grateful to our Father God, knowing that He is the inspiration of all your revelation. Saturday night God spoke to me a Rhema Word, and I love it when He does that. In the middle of your message, you said: "It can happen!" and God pinned it to my spirit! It was really cool.

For the last seven years God has used us to be the servants to the planting of the ministries that He is instituting. He tells us where to go and what to do, He goes before us and we obey and step into His footprint that He has left for us. He sent us to Charleston 7 months ago and we obeyed and stepped into the footprint He left for us and found ourselves in College Ministry at Seacoast Church, not knowing why and then He revealed it, He wanted to plant His Presence, Hope and Salvation in downtown Charleston in the center of the college life there. So the vision for "Downtown Live" was born and He is using us to serve to get the ministry planted. We start August 22^nd and you can feel God's passion-purpose-promise all over it! This past Friday, completely out of the blue and totally unexpected Bob was laid off from work. Three of their big investors decided to wait on their projects because of the economy. The short of the long of it is, thank you for your message, it encouraged these two shell shocked servants not to give up and to stay in the ALLNESS of God's love and take the next step forward. God showed us we were knocked down but not out and that we were to stay here in Charleston, go forward with the Downtown Live Ministry and He would make a way for us because out of His Infinite Love, His Sovereign Will Is Funded. It Can Happen! I Am Thanking Him Right Now For His ALLNESS In Us And Through Us!

Thank you Pastor Todd! You Are A Light Of Hope And Truth In A World That Truly Needs More Pastors Such As You! I was knocked down by a suddenly in this life and now I am up and I am willing to give up everything in order to obey God and be His planter of Downtown Live. God Bless You Pastor Todd! I am a life encouraged! So Today I say to others:

PS… I am soooooo grateful for the online church ministry at Christ Fellowship. I don't know if I could be God's planter and move all over the place without taking my church with me. God doesn't change and neither does my church as I move from place to place. I for that I am thankful. A Sweet Ocean Breeze

A sweet ocean breeze on my face,

reminds me of AWE-GOD'S Grace!

 

New hope rises up, saturating my heart,

I peacefully sit still and receive God's new start.

 

My flesh is tremendously weak, I feel it so!

AWE-GOD You are with me, this I know!

 

I sit at the shore dreaming of things to come,

hoping huge in AWE-GOD, for all not just some.

 

The waves crash violently upon the shore,

and the sandcastle I toiled to build is no more.

 

My mind is stirred with thoughts of 'what for'?

Yet, my heart remains AWE-GOD forevermore!

When God shuts a door, He opens way more!

 

Watching the waves come, I realize-know,

I have willfulness in my soul I must forego!

Selflessness is needed to sow,

in order to have patient-power to go!

 

I will hope in My AWE-GOD,

focus not on my loss;

counting the cost,

I will see past His cross.

 

The ocean breeze was God's tell and show,

I heard it and saw it, therefore,

So here we are Lord, really in a hard spot but nothing truly has changed because You Are Still Here. Lord, I pray for Your Provision for us. Show us what to do step by step and open the doors for us, those You will.

We both are so very disappointed, especially Bob because he was totally enjoying building that building and now he has to just up and leave it. But we also can see the "spiritual battle" going on here. We know the extreme favor God has given us with the college students at the Well is not to be taken for granted, it is really an AWE-GOD thing! You know when we went to the first meeting for Downtown Live, there was just this feeling in our hearts that this was something huge that God was wanting to do, that the timing was perfect and right and He was going to unfold His plan, the intent of His heart for the students in Downtown Charleston. This is definitely a generation God has His sights on, I call it The Turning Point Generation. I can see this unexpected blindside as a direct hit from the enemy, only what he has underestimated is the Life Saver that is in us, we are struck down but we will rise up because of Jesus in us. One thing I hold on to is the truth that God allows these things to touch our lives for His great purpose and the sweet truth is that in what we call "trials" is a whole lot of His Sovereign Will and when you are in His Sovereign Will you are never far from His Infinite love because the two go hand in hand! AWE-GOD! Bob and I are praying for our next step and we are moving forward with what He has shared with us to do until He changes the direction. A stumbling block will never change our direction because with God you can run through a troop and leap over a wall. The only time we do a U-Turn is when God does it first and we follow after Him. Thanks for the encouragement. You have an AWE-Mazing way of being God's sweet joy to so many. Love ya!

Who came up with the Vanquishing Damaged Emotions? LOL! That is not going to fly!! LOL!  How about something like Exchanged Lies For Truth?? Because that is exactly what I did! Hey, you know what... I wanted to tell you that God's Purpose in me taking that class was so timely, of course you know that... but to encourage you, I have to tell you right?!  Anyway, Bob got laid off yesterday and it was a huge blindside, we never, never expected that!! BUT GOD... I am totally ready for this trial because I have the truth in me now... God's Sovereign Plan is not far from His Infinite Love and I am no longer afraid or anxious about sufferings and trials anymore and this current one proved that I have been healed and set free in that area... I mean I am still sad for him and disappointed and don't know what the heck God is doing, but I do know His Love is with me and that trial is a part of His Sovereign Plan and that is all good.  I have peace, which is a huge victory for me because I always feared that I could not handle a sudden trial, actually I never could handle them, I always fell to fear... but this time I did not... isn't that cool! Thanks Celese... I am a life changed... keep sharing the vision God has given you! Hope all is well.

Those who think they can do it on their own end up obsessed with measuring their own moral muscle but never get around to exercising it in real life. Those who trust God's action in them find that God's Spirit is in them—living and breathing God! Obsession with self in these matters is a dead end; attention to God leads us out into the open, into a spacious, free life. Focusing on the self is the opposite of focusing on God. Anyone completely absorbed in self ignores God, ends up thinking more about self than God. That person ignores who God is and what he is doing. And God isn't pleased at being ignored.

I have a great love for the United States Military as many of you know and I pray for them weekly and encourage these warriors and their family as much as I can. (See The Military Table At: http://thebridegroomscafe.com ) Our Military Warriors are defending and protecting our liberty here on this earth. Yet, there is another Warrior, that leads out in all of our spiritual battles by teaching us how to stand in Christ Jesus and fight and by leading us into the service of The Kingdom of God. These warriors many times are shepherding us and standing in the gap for us at a great personal cost to them and their families. This Warrior, I call Pastor.

I know I have and I know we all at times take our pastors for granted, we don't realize the spiritual battles that they are in because they lead-shepherd The Bride Of Christ. They are being shot at by spiritual enemies every single day! I believe that God is asking us to give back to these Pastors and Pastor's Wives who sacrifice so much for us, who are in the heat of spiritual battle on our behalf.

In a time such as this, God is asking us to pray, to undergird them in prayer on Fridays! And I believe, the best way we can make an eternal difference, a difference that matters in their lives is to pray for them, call their names out to God!

I am obeying God as He has asked me to set aside Friday as Pastor Pray Day. • Father God, I thank You that You have our best in mind when it comes to our financial situation and the setback in our Mortgage and house appraisal. I pray for Your Favor, Your Wisdom and Your Will to be done in our lives. Show us, guide us. Jesus.

Those who think they can do it on their own end up obsessed with measuring their own moral muscle but never get around to exercising it in real life. Those who trust God's action in them find that God's Spirit is in them—living and breathing God! Obsession with self in these matters is a dead end; attention to God leads us out into the open, into a spacious, free life. Focusing on the self is the opposite of focusing on God. Anyone completely absorbed in self ignores God, ends up thinking more about self than God. That person ignores who God is and what he is doing. And God isn't pleased at being ignored.

A Seasoned Servant Of God Has Encouraged Me Today

I've been wandering up and down this hall for quite some time almost as though I were lost, but then again, not. Which way should I go, which room should I enter today? All of a sudden my eyes gaze upon a sign on the door just ahead of me: The Turning Point. Maybe this is where I can find some answers to my wanderings and at times, weariness. Well, as the saying goes...Here goes nothing, or maybe in my case it could be here comes everything. Enter with me if you'd like.

In the far corner of a bookshelf, in a worn out journal long forgotten from my many years past,the pages tattered and worn, I find these words: Our lives have many ups and downs, Joys and frowns..yet deep within each crying heart is a need to belong...a place to start..to set our sites on Heaven above and to seek His wisdom and His love..to know that as we carry life's baggage around His love and mercy will always abound. He can lift us up and bring us to that turning point in our walk with Him. To know that only through Jesus blood shed for our sins we are made the victors in and through God's mercy and grace.

So as I said when I entered this room, "Would it be here goes nothing or here comes everything?" I've found that in here it did come..that turning point in my life where the wandering is becoming less frequent and the weariness is almost gone. I awaken, turn, and point my way toward Jesus at the beginning of each new dawn. As I place the old journal back on the shelf and walk out the door I stop and say "Thank-you" once more!

AWE-GOD! I agree with our need to belong and I find, just as you spoke so sweetly, that fulfilling that need begins everyday at God's feet. Here comes everything! Yeah God! I can so empathize with the weariness you talked about. I had it for years because I was trying to "fix" everything and everyone. I am no longer the fixer and over the years of learning to just "be" His, I am no longer soul weary! Praise God! Thank you sweet friend for this post, may God bless all who read it! Take Care!
