AWE- ALMIGHTY GOD!

Make My Life Excellent In You-Constant In Your Courage

I Kimberly Ann McCarthy am determined to be found in the Love of Christ that has been lavished upon me with such abundance. Infinitely So! I will gratefully and with thanksgiving receive this great love of my AWE-GOD and love everyone, everyday, everywhere!

James 1:6-8

Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind.7 For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord,8 [For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides].

An undivided heart is what I pray for today. Psalm 86:11. A heart endowed with AWE of my Almighty God, a heart filled with respect and will-bent in honor of Jesus Christ, His Son and a heart humbly bowed to the Holy Spirit Who is the all of my everything, My Way-Maker. A man of two minds is divided in loyalty between the Kingdom of God and this world, between selfishness and selflessness. May my 1^st call be to my AWE-GOD, my mind be focused on Him and my heart be set in pursuit of His Kingdom purposes, being found in the flow of them today. In Christ Jesus, undivided in heart and resolute in Kingdom purpose I will be found, therefore I will not be uncertain in my faith, questioning in my attitudes, wishy-washy in my belief, unsteady in my heart, unpredictable in my character or doubtful in my thoughts. I will be a servant warrior with an undivided heart of loyalty, with an unchanging mind of Christ, stable in emotions, faithful in attitude, strong in spirit and truth and walking in God's characteristic of faithful, endurance. Undivided in heart, I will be completely in Christ Jesus and by His Spirit, Power and Truth, I can be a dependable, trustworthy Champion of Christ and bring glory to His Kingdom as a Christian, who wears His name and have a impacting faith, leaving a living legacy in my today that makes an eternal difference.

Greed is the food for jealousy and jealousy is a root of a bitter competitive spirit that is saturated in discontentment and holds no peace.
Whenever some disinformation of the world sits in my mind for too long, my thinking becomes harried and peaceless.
Lies seed chaotic emotions and bind up my mind in dreadful thoughts. God's truth seeds stability and huge hope with peaceful thoughts.
I have been here and done this: "Be careful of taking a bunny trail that leads you to nowhere street because it will dead-end in trouble land! Let Me Lead You!" Most of the time I am lead by God's Holy Spirit, because I have learned about the dead-end in trouble land. I don't want to go there. But sometimes, I don't give God enough time to work and I impulsively take things in my own hands, make my own way, which always, without a doubt, ends up in trouble land!

Hebrews 6:17-20

Accordingly God also, in His desire to show more convincingly and beyond doubt to those who were to inherit the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose and plan, intervened (mediated) with an oath.18 This was so that, by two unchangeable things [His promise and His oath] in which it is impossible for God ever to prove false or deceive us, we who have fled [to Him] for refuge might have mighty indwelling strength and strong encouragement to grasp and hold fast the hope appointed for us and set before [us].19 [Now] we have this [hope] as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whoever steps out upon it--a hope] that reaches farther and enters into [the very certainty of the Presence] within the veil, 20 Where Jesus has entered in for us [in advance], a Forerunner having become a High Priest forever after the order (with the rank) of Melchizedek.

My Thoughts About This Verse:

God's Promises are the sure foundation of my hope and the stability of my inner peace.
Everything about God's Truth is sure, there is no insecurity in it, therefore, it is the perfect foundation for peace.
God's Promises do not waiver with cultural tides, they are an anchor for my soul peace, unchanging in character, steady in hope.
Jesus is the forerunner of my soul-peace and if I stay in followship of Him, I can walk in peace today.

Psalm 46

GOD IS our Refuge and Strength [mighty and impenetrable to temptation], a very Present and well-proved help in trouble.2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains be shaken into the midst of the seas,3 Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling and tumult. My Thoughts About This Verse:

If I am found in God's Presence, I shall not be moved from my place of peace, positioned in His Grace.
Omnipresent Reality Check! No Fear! God Is With Me! Be Still! Know #AWE-GOD!
If I hold on to all things me, I will not have God's peace. Let Go! Let Be! Know God! God's Got This!
God is my peace and He is always with me, always being, therefore I can have peace from every moment to every choice.

Gleaming From Daniel 5- Learning:Growing!

Beth Moore: Daniel 5 Workbook Days Four and Five

Psalm 130:7 O Isreal (Kimberly) put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.

Don't nurse hopeless grief; put your hope in the Lord! He loves you unfailingly! He wants to redeem every area of your life until even your failures bring Him glory. Will you let Him?

Day Four:

This man Daniel whom the king called Belteshazzar, was forced to have a keen mind and knowledge and understanding. Daniel 5:12

There is a parallel between the history of Belshazzar, the ruler of Babylon and how he treated the holy vessels as unholy and satan's unholy treatment of us, the holy vessels of God's present house.

Daniel 5:10-17

10 Now the queen [mother], overhearing the exciting words of the king and his lords, came into the banquet house. The queen [mother] said, O king, live forever! Do not be alarmed at your thoughts or let your cheerful expression and the color of your face be changed.11 There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the Spirit of the holy God [or gods], and in the days of your father light and understanding and wisdom like the wisdom of the gods were found in him; and King Nebuchadnezzar, your father--the king, I say, your father--appointed him master of the magicians, enchanters or soothsayers, Chaldeans, and astrologers,12 Because an excellent spirit, knowledge, and understanding to interpret dreams, clarify riddles, and solve knotty problems were found in this same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar. Now let Daniel be called, and he will show the interpretation.13 Then Daniel was brought in before the king. And the king said to Daniel, Are you that Daniel of the children of the captivity of Judah, whom the king my father brought out of Judah?14 I have heard of you, that the Spirit of the holy God [or gods] is in you and that light and understanding and superior wisdom are found in you.15 Now the wise men, the enchanters, have been brought in before me that they might read this writing and make known to me the interpretation of it, but they could not show the interpretation of the matter.16 But I have heard of you, that you can make interpretations and solve knotty problems. Now if you can read the writing and make known to me its interpretation, you shall be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold put around your neck and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.17 Then Daniel answered before the king, Let your gifts be for yourself and give your rewards to another. However, I will read the writing to the king and make known to him the interpretation.

My Thoughts: Beth Moore's Comments From The Book

The Kings grandmother told him of Daniels reputation that Daniel had the spirit of the holy God, and was full of light and understanding and wisdom, he had an excellent spirit of knowledge and understanding… this was the legacy of Daniel, the reputation that he had with the world.

30 years of chaos, assignations of three kings prior explain why Belshazzar did not know of Daniel. Daniel is 80 years old and the queens familiarity with Daniel suggests that she is Nebuchadnezzars widow.

The queen said Daniel could solve difficult problems, a literal rendition of this in the Aramaic is "the loosening of knots".

My life here in Georgia is teaching me discipline. God brought me here for a reason and I need to loosen the hold on my plan and accept His.

James 4:2

2 You are jealous and covet [what others have] and your desires go unfulfilled; [so] you become murderers. [To hate is to murder as far as your hearts are concerned.] You burn with envy and anger and are not able to obtain [the gratification, the contentment, and the happiness that you seek], so you fight and war. You do not have, because you do not ask. [I John 3:15.]3 [Or] you do ask [God for them] and yet fail to receive, because you ask with wrong purpose and evil, selfish motives. Your intention is [when you get what you desire] to spend it in sensual pleasures.

"We have a knot because we ask not! Whether or not God gives you the ability to loosen that knot, He can untangle it effortlessly. Persist in prayer until He does!

The queen said Daniel had a "keen mind" I wonder if she noticed that Daniel had a wisdom that was not readily available to all.

Numbers 14:24

24 But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land into which he went, and his descendants shall possess it.

Both these men stuck out as extraordinary as different. What happened with these men is that they never assimilated in their culture. God was 1^st and their 1^st call was to Him.

Daniel did not care what people thought of him, he just always did what was right in the sight of His God, He cared more about God than people. "Daniel maintained his integrity long after anyone seemed to notice. He remained extraordinary in his ordinary estate"

My Thoughts: I want to be like Daniel. I want to be consistently in love with Jesus Christ and constantly His. I want to be completely His no matter what my circumstances' or who I am in relationship with. He must be 1st. My 1st call is to Jesus Christ!

Day Five:

You his son, O Belshazzar, have not humbled yourself, though you knew all this. Daniel 5:22

2 Timothy 2:15 Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.

2 Chronicles 16:9

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are blameless toward Him. You have done foolishly in this; therefore, from now on you shall have wars.

My Thought:

Blameless to me is a position of complete surrender to God. I hope for this, for a completely.

Daniel 5: 18-31

O king, the Most High God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father a kingdom and greatness and glory and majesty;19 And because of the greatness that He gave him, all peoples, nations, and languages trembled and feared before him. Whom he would he slew, and whom he would he kept alive; whom he would he set up, and whom he would he put down.20 But when his heart was lifted up and his mind and spirit were hardened so that he dealt proudly, he was deposed from his kingly throne and his glory was taken from him;21 He was driven from among men, and his heart or mind was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses. He was fed with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of the heavens until he learned and knew that the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men and that He appoints and sets over it whomever He will.22 And you his son, O Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart and mind, though you knew all this [knew it and were defiant].23 And you have lifted yourself up against the Lord of heaven, and the vessels of His house have been brought before you, and you and your lords, your wives, and your concubines have drunk wine from them; and you have praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see or hear or know; but the God in Whose hand your breath is and Whose are all your ways you have not honored and glorified [but have dishonored and disgraced].24 Then was the part of the hand sent from the presence of [the Most High God], and this writing was inscribed.25 And this is the inscription that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN --numbered, numbered, weighed, divisions.26 This is the interpretation of the matter: MENE, God has numbered the days of your kingship and brought them to an end;27 TEKEL, You are weighed in the balances and are found wanting;28 PERES, Your kingdom and your kingship are divided and given to the Medes and Persians. [Foretold in Isa. 21:2, 5, 9.]29 Then Belshazzar commanded, and Daniel was clothed with purple and a chain of gold put about his neck, and a proclamation was made concerning him that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.30 During that night Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans was slain,31 And Darius the Mede took the kingdom; he was about sixty-two years old.

Belshazzars mistake was not learning from the wisdom of His Father before him that God was the ruler of this Kingdom, and needed to be humbly respected. He lifted himself up above God and His Holy Vessels. He was too proud to learn from the mistakes of others.

"Pain a most effective teacher. If the lesson did not hurt us personally-it tends to not teach us personally."

Instead of humbling himself from what he knew, Belshazzar lifted himself up against God and His Holy Vessels.

1 Peter 5:5

Likewise, you who are younger and of lesser rank, be subject to the elders (the ministers and spiritual guides of the church)--[giving them due respect and yielding to their counsel]. Clothe (apron) yourselves, all of you, with humility [as the garb of a servant, so that its covering cannot possibly be stripped from you, with freedom from pride and arrogance] toward one another. For God sets Himself against the proud (the insolent, the overbearing, the disdainful, the presumptuous, the boastful)--[and He opposes, frustrates, and defeats them], but gives grace (favor, blessing) to the humble.

"When through unrelenting pride- we set ourselves up against God, He sets Himself up against us." We lose!

Isaiah 63:7-10

I will recount the loving-kindnesses of the Lord and the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, according to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, and the great goodness to the house of Israel, which He has granted them according to His mercy and according to the multitude of His loving-kindnesses. 8 For He said, Surely they are My people, sons who will not lie [who will not deal falsely with Me]; and so He was to them a Savior [in all their distresses]. 9 In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He lifted them up and carried them all the days of old. 10 But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; therefore He turned to become their enemy and Himself fought against them.

Daniel called out Balshazzar for using the Holy vessels to toast an unholy cause, just as God will call out satan to account for every time he treated you, God's holy child as holy. God is a God of justice and all will be put right in the end. Sometimes it "feels" like evil gets away with a lot, but in the end, God's justice will call all evil into account.

Mene Mene Tekel UpHarsin: Mene comes from the verb: to number, to reckon; tekel from the verb: to weigh; and upharsin from the verb: to break in two, to divide.

Balshazzar received a "divine evaluation" and was found lacking in "moral worth"

God does not weigh us by a common scale, but by His Kingdom Truth? Divine Evaluation? What is your moral worth?

Notes from listening to 1 John 4:16

Test the spirits, many false prophets… Jesus Christ must be acknowledged. We are from God, the one who is in us is greater than the world. False Prophets speak from the view point of the world, not God's Truth. Love one another, it comes from God, Whoever does not love, does not know God, because God is love. God showed us His Love by Jesus, God loved us through Jesus, sent His son to atone for our sins. We need to love others with a sacrificial love like God has. God lives in us by His Spirit and we have seen and testified Jesus, His Son, The Savior. If you acknowledge Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in You. If you live in God, Love is made complete among people. No fear in love, fear ahs to do with punishment, perfect love cast all fear out. If you love God, you must love others. We see others, we don't see God, so if we can't love that which is seen, how can we love God Who is unseen?

Key Thought: You Can Be Intimate With The Father God

My Thoughts About This:

I had a good relationship with my earthly dad, he died last year on my birthday and it is going to make this year really hard to celebrate my birthday because I miss him so much and it hurts knowing he died on my birthday. I am not sure how to reconcile this pain and to even want to celebrate my birthday this year. But I do know because I had a good relationship with my dad, all my 55 years of my life, that I can also have a good relationship with my Father GOD, so therefore I will climb up into His lap and ask Him to help me on October 13^th to make it a day of celebration and to take away the pain of my precious dad, dying on that day!

Philippians 3 ~ The Message Bible

^7-9The very credentials these people are waving around as something special, I'm tearing up and throwing out with the trash—along with everything else I used to take credit for. And why? Because of Christ. Yes, all the things I once thought were so important are gone from my life. Compared to the high privilege of knowing Christ Jesus as my Master, firsthand, everything I once thought I had going for me is insignificant—dog dung. I've dumped it all in the trash so that I could embrace Christ and be embraced by him. I didn't want some petty, inferior brand of righteousness that comes from keeping a list of rules when I could get the robust kind that comes from trusting Christ—God's righteousness.

Even in the past year, I can't believe how different my life is. I am changing so much as I pursue a "completely"- wanting to give God the all of me. It is so difficult to be in Georgia, to not really know anyone here, but yet I feel such strong Kingdom purpose in it, it just takes away the difficulty part and each day I find myself just totally immersed in what He wants me to do. It is like I am working for Jesus full time! LOL! I have to keep beating down my flesh and stay focused on truth and continually make decisions to not chase after my feelings. I am different, I am still changing. AWE-GOD!

Thoughts As I listened to Philippians 2

Be united with Christ, take comfort in His love… be one in spirit and purpose with God, do nothing out of selfishness or pride, look to the interests of others… attitude the same as Jesus Christ, who gave up His rights, made himself nothing taking the nature of a servant He humbled Himself…. Died on a cross and then God exalted him to the highest place and now He has the Name above all names. Jesus Christ, Lord! Therefore… obey God, workout your salvation with respect and AWE… God works in us to will and act according to His purpose… Shine like stars in the universe, hold out the word of life… be poured out like a drink offering in all your situations. Don't look out for your own interests, look out for the Kingdom purposes of Jesus Christ. Honor people who give their lives to Jesus

My Thoughts About This:

This really, really speaks to me today. Sometimes I feel like Jonah, I want to run, I want to run away as far away from this season of my life as I can get. But I know like Jonah, the 1^st decision to do that will land me in a belly of a whale. So I will make the right choice! I will stay where He has put me and be thankful for the Kingdom purposes in play all around me. I will focus on Him, not on my situation and give my life to His Kingdom work. I am not really unhappy with my life, I am glad to be serving God, but there are times when I just feel so alone here in Georgia, it is hard to focus on what God has me here for. I know it is a good Kingdom purpose, but it has some of the old demons popping up in insecurity and things from the past. Where do you fit in this Jesus? To me it is so out of balance this world. Times I just want to pack up and go back to NC, I am so tempted to do it, just leave here and try to make a life for myself in NC. But that would be exactly what you told me to "grow out of" when you gave me Isaiah 50, you said to me not to kindle my own fire and walk by the light of a man made fire, or I would lay down in torment. I will obey this Jesus. Because I know that I have inner peace here, even if my flesh hates it here, my inner peace rules. That is what is so weird, the peace I have even though at times I wish I was home in NC, I know I am to be here. It is just not a place I thought I would be in, but it is a place where you are using me Jesus, for Your Kingdom. Help me to deny my flesh today, not to look out for my interests, what I want but for YOURS and serve YOU alone. Jesus. Thank you for the scripture this morning, it does keep my feet in place, positioned in the flow of Your Kingdom purposes

We do have a God-given free will, but we are responsible-accountable to God for the choices we make. I know I make a choice for peace or a choice for disobedience. With my free will I can choose to be responsible-accountable to God and this is a choice for inner peace.
The enemy wants to steal my peace and the way it happens is usually not the enemy but my choice, my free will choice.
From my free will, from each moment to every choice, I must choose Jesus Christ 1^st.
My free will calls me to many things, God calls me to His peace through obedience.
From moment to free will choice, I decide to follow after Jesus, His Way, His Truth, His Life!

John 15:1-11

I AM the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. 2 Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit. 3 You are cleansed and pruned already, because of the word which I have given you [the teachings I have discussed with you]. 4 Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. 5 I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. 6 If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. 8 When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.

9 I have loved you, [just] as the Father has loved Me; abide in My love [[a]continue in His love with Me]. 10 If you keep My commandments [if you continue to obey My instructions], you will abide in My love and live on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father's commandments and live on in His love. 11 I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing.

My Thoughts About This Verse:

If I stay abiding in Christ, then my peace is stable because His life in me makes it so
I can see that the fruit of my relationship with Jesus, the constancy of it is the strength of my inner peace.
Truly too, His Word is such a strength to me and His precepts do remain with me as a constant motivation from my moments to my choices.
Omnipresent Reality Checks Are Good! I need to stay in God's Presence if I want peace. I need to obey His Will for Me.
Frustration and chaos come when I think I can do things on my own without God. When I want my way and I chase after it, I do end up without God's peace.
From my every moment abiding in Christ to my next choice, I can have the guidance and peace of Jesus. He is my Way-Maker

Psalm 29:1-11

ASCRIBE TO the Lord, O sons of the mighty, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. 2Give to the Lord the glory due to His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness or in holy array. 3The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of glory thunders; the Lord is upon many (great) waters. 4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. 5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars; yes, the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon. 6 He makes them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion (Mount Hermon) like a young, wild ox. 7 The voice of the Lord splits and flashes forth forked lightning. 8 The voice of the Lord makes the wilderness tremble; the Lord shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh. 9 The voice of the Lord makes the hinds bring forth their young, and His voice strips bare the forests, while in His temple everyone is saying, Glory! 10 The Lord sat as King over the deluge; the Lord [still] sits as King [and] forever! 11 The Lord will give [unyielding and impenetrable] strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.

My Thoughts About This Verse:

The Truth and Voice Of God is more powerful than every tempting thought, every discouraging word, every situation where life has gone down a disparaging path. God's truth, His Voice breaks all bondages and brings peace.
In the face of Chaos, God's Word is majestic, in the face of lawlessness and the horrible consequences of sin upon our world, God's Voice is restoration and peace.
I would be a fool not to listen to God's Voice, not to hear His Word everyday because it is the foundation of my inner peace!

A Seasoned Servant Of God Has Encouraged Me Today

I hope I didn't sound "callous" last night in responding to the subject of workaholism with you, because I can see how painful this is for you. But personally I've just learned from the Lord to not be consumed by it anymore. It was literally causing me health problems, and two people being consumed (2 wrongs) don't make it right. Is this the ideal way to live, to have a marriage be? No. Is this my choice? No. So I've had to let it go and any time I take it back, I am 100% miserable for days. It reminds me of what it says in Genesis, which I learned was me trying to be in control. Unfortunately, this is the "norm" in marriages as I learned when counseling, where husbands often don't take biblical leadership, are consumed with work, and allow their wives to take leadership. The only one happy about this is satan.

Genesis 3:16

To the woman he said, "I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you."

Another verses God used that I mentioned to you is:

Proverbs 27:22

Though you grind a fool in a mortar, grinding them like grain with a pestle, you will not remove their folly from them.

Proverbs 9:7-9:

Whoever corrects a mocker invites insults; whoever rebukes the wicked incurs abuse.

8 Do not rebuke mockers or they will hate you; rebuke the wise and they will love you.

9 Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.

Though it doesn't sound very kind to say our husbands are "fools" or "mockers", but reality is, when they neglect their marriages and families, and put their jobs on the throne of their lives, biblically, this is truth. A mocker knows the truth of God's Word, but lives his own life, while claiming to be a believer and Christ follower. They don't want to hear our words and can literally "hate" us, which makes things worse. And a fool who doesn't live God's ways will never be changed by anyone but the Lord.

So this is my reality now approaching 40 years, and not one year of those 40 did things become better with my "words". We need to lovingly express to our husbands how we feel, but then fully trust what God will do and "win him over without a word" as it tells us in 1 Peter. Do I do this 100% of the time? No. I fail too and as I said, am miserable when it happens. I get caught up in worrying about his health as he gets older, but I don't own that issue either. Ideally, husbands and wives agree to have some accountability in their relationship with these issues, but in many, including mine, that is not the agreement. So, put your hope in the Lord and not in man, and follow after the Lord the best you can like I do. I will keep you in my prayers!

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

My Thoughts About This:

Thanks for the encouragement. I am much better today. I have been "Jonahized" by the Godly wisdom of Jonah's life example!!!! I appreciate so much you listening to me and giving me your wisdom, I treasure it, all of it, and in any way I can get it!! I admire your life, I want to be like you one day, I want to get there where you are at peace with your husband, how cool is that... Before I grew up in the Lord to where I am today, I used to add to the stress of my life, by being so angry and bitter about it. It is funny though, I don't like it here, but I am at peace here in Georgia, and God is using me online like no other, so in order to be used like this, I have to be alone, I guess the swap is worth it! I would rather do something with my life that matters eternally. I love the scriptures you sent, put them in my personal journal. Oh and as far as Romans 15:13 goes God did fill me with joy today as I got an email from someone I had been praying for since January for Christ Fellowship online prayer mentoring and she emailed me to say her mother has been healed, cancer free... God healed her... then I realized in complete joy, it is not about where I am or who I am with, it is all about what God has called me to do and my 1st call is to Him, my second to obedience because in that is the flow of Kingdom Purpose! AWE-GOD

Today, I Kimberly Ann McCarthy lay down my personal rights, plans, expectations and serve God for the sake of His Kingdom. I will cling to God's Kingdom Purposes that are in play all around me and put my personal expectations in His hands. All the works of our flesh and self-glorification end in waste, destruction, futility and death. Our accomplishments in the flesh might be grand, exalted, and elaborate -- but they're really just a monument to ourselves that have no life within them. If we want death, let's look to the flesh and all the glories of man -- look to the pyramids. But if we want life, we'll only find it by abandoning the flesh, walking in purity and putting our faith in Yeshua (Jesus), the one who gives us abundant life!

Experience life to the fullest, without thought to anyone else but you is satan agenda for us because our enemy knows that living life for ourselves will not leave a legacy that remains and will not give us access to the peace of God.

Peace, God's peace will lead us as our focus is on Him; our lives are served for and unto Him.
Self pleasing does not yield the peace of God, but puts us in the path of anxious human doing. Surrender to God-experience His peace!
Beware not to be swindled to get all you can get without the responsible accountability that usually accompanies your free will! I like this because it speaks the truth about the peace that I lack as I chase after my free will instead of God's Kingdom plan for me.
Seek God 1^st! Chasing after "stuff" and "self willed expectations" is a subtle deception robbing our inner peace as the joy trickles out our soul.

Psalm 64

1 Hear me, my God, as I voice my complaint; protect my life from the threat of the enemy. 2 Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the plots of evildoers. 3 They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim cruel words like deadly arrows. 4 They shoot from ambush at the innocent; they shoot suddenly, without fear. 5 They encourage each other in evil plans, they talk about hiding their snares; they say, "Who will see it?" 6 They plot injustice and say, "We have devised a perfect plan!" My Thoughts About This Verse:

Misinformation that takes my focus off of God, off of His Truth and steals my inner peace with its cruel intention of a forever deception.
Jesus is my hiding place, His Truth is my refuge from cruel words that are aimed at maiming my inner peace
The perfect human plan does not even come close to the wisdom and truth of God. Don't trust in human wisdom, it is not perfect only in its plan to deceive and ensnare your peace.
The Lord will fight for us when tongues wag with an enemies motive of stealing our peace and He will provide a place of refuge in Him.
The conspiracy of well aimed words cannot steal our inner peace because the Truth of God shoots them down. AWE-GOD!
We have to guard our hearts from those "suddenly" attacks of words that take us by surprise and hurt us most.

Proverbs 15:33

The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord brings instruction in Wisdom, and humility comes before honor.

My Thoughts About This Verse:

Worship and AWE found through God's Word instills peace in our soul.
Humility and honor of God, feeds the peace of our soul
The wisdom of God is also a source of peace for our spirit as we follow after God's instructions
A living legacy of God's peace is built by reverent-humble, honoring-respect in our AWE-GOD. Develop an AWE of God and therein lies His peace!

****My Prayer! I Place All My Expectation In You, Almighty God!*****

Psalm 62:5 (amplified) My soul, wait only upon God and silently submit to Him; for my hope and expectation are from Him. He only is my Rock and my Salvation; He is my Defense and my Fortress, I shall not be moved.

Lord Jesus, touch my son Chris, guide his physicians and take care of him physically, heal his body Jesus.

Father touch my cousin Wesley, continue to heal his body by Your Spirit, restore his heath and thank you Lord for being with him through all of the surgery and recovery.

Lord Jesus, touch Caitlins friend who lost her father, be with her friend, stabilize her in Your comfort and peace, undergird this family with Your persevering strength. Jesus.

Lord, be with Amy's friend who lost her father, be her peace, be her stability, guide her life in Your strength, be the strength and hope of this family.

Jesus, touch Janelle's children strengthen them physically, restore their health.

Imasingr4him2, Jesus touch Imasingr by Your Spirit and give Your hope, be the Waymaker of this life, guide Imasingr to the future You have, to the Kingdom purposes in play. Open your door of opportunity help Imasingr find the right place to plug in, find Christian fellowship. Jesus!

Jesus be with Shannon this week, shape her will by Your Kingdom purposes for her, help her to bloom where she is planted and give her Your peace in this new place where she has moved. Give her purpose in her every day, Your purpose that fulfills her life. Open the doors for her Jesus.

Jesus be with Jeremy as he reaches out to WCU and Mars Hill, give him Your favor Jesus, draw these colleges to You, Lord, use these online campus groups to stir the hearts of college students to draw them to You, to build community in You. Jesus!

Jesus be with my friend Sherri. Father draw her to a completely in You. Heal her body, strengthen her faith. Lord make a way for her to fix her car. Jesus help her to find that perfect relationship with You, so she is not afraid. Jesus, use the medicine from the FDA to heal her legs and help her endure the side affects by Your strength and power. Jesus!

We will have tests to teach us stability. We need to lean into God and not let our cirucumstances control our happiness.
You will have opportunities to be offended, get upset and be disappointed. God uses the opportunities and satan uses the opportunities. Will you choose death or life?
Ask God, He is Your Way-Maker, He always knows a way out!
Constancy and Stability is a sign that you don't worship the plan your mind made up, that you can be directed by God
Without having your confidence in God, you will be controlled by others in your pursuit to people please.
Insecure people compare and compete with you, always looking at you and what you have and never happy with themselves.
Confidence and humility go hand in hand, together as one you don't have real confidence without humility
I can't do anything without God, but with Him, I can do everything! True Confidence!
God's strength works through our weaknesses, so you need to stop trying to be perfect, because when you do, you are also always trying to make others perfect, it is a frustrating circle of life.

Even if all we have is a little, the Lord desires us to be joyfully generous, so that He will have for His church an abundance for every good work. Let us not be selfish or deceived by money. In a real sense, money is not a blessing; it's a test. Quote By:Francis Frangipane

Be submissive, behavior changes hearts. Beauty should be inward not outward… a gentle and quiet spirit before God is of great worth. Do what is right, do not give way to fear. Husbands be considerate, treat your wife with respect and nothing will hinder your prayers. Live in harmony, sympathetic, do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. Whoever loves life must keep his tongue from evil. Turn from evil do good… seek peace, pursue it. Eyes of Lord on Righteous, face attentive to our prayer. If you suffer for what is right you are blessed. Do not fear or be frighten, set apart Christ as Lord in our heart, give an answer to everyone who asks for the reason of your hope. If it is God's will it is better to suffer for doing good. Jesus died for the righteous and the unrighteous one for all. Wait patiently for God to work. Have a good conscious towards God. Jesus Christ has gone before us with angels principalities and powers in submission to Him.

Dear Bob and Kim

What praise and worship there is in the beautiful Psalms! Great is our God and Greatly He should be praised.

It has been a year since I was stricken with a back injury and laid up in a friend's home in Myrtle Beach for 5 days. I was working on my Christmas tree lots, and hurt my back so badly I could barely move for a week. The miracle of having it happening where I could be so well cared for is reason enough to praise God. But having the condition resolve in 5 days, when every other time I have had this problem it would take 2 or 3 weeks to resolve, is an even greater miracle. I remember how many of you emailed or called expressing sympathy and praying for me. I thank God for you all again and for your prayers. I know, without a doubt, God hears our prayers. God is certainly my refuge and my strength. I hope He is yours also today. Unlike His people, the Lord never offers excuses for failure for He is incapable of failing. He is always righteous and true. He knows our pain as He became flesh for that very reason. There is a River, my friend. It is the River of Life. It flows from the throne of Almighty God. It is my prayer that we lead others to drink from that River so that they too might know the blessings of the family, the eternal family of God. I pray you will be filled with His goodness today and we all give it away for The River will never run dry as long as we give it away.

Remember, sadly, not all will want to drink from the River. It is not our job to make them drink; only to show them the River. Our job is to show the effects in our lives that the River has had. it is up to the Holy Spirit to convict their hearts. So let us never stop inviting our friends and family to share in the joy and peace, the strength and knowledge, in knowing Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

Thanks! Oh yes I remember that. So glad God touched you. Don't you just love "heavenly hindsight"! It stirs our faith! What you said today.... Oh this is so on my heart, you have no idea! God's heart of passion for the lost is so strong. He has instructed me to use my Wednesday on Twitter and flood it with a cry for the lost and a cry for the Bride of Christ to pray for the lost, to start their own "Most Wanted List" and pray for those all around them that they know do not know Jesus. See the "most wanted list" on the heart of God and pray, pray, pray for them…

Keep my #MWanted in your prayers that people on twitter will hear the call to God to pray for the lost and the lost will hear the cry of their Father to come home to Him.

Position:

A world a lot of people strive for position. They think if they have the place, position, title then their lives would come together. I need a niche for my life to come together. The position does not make the leader, the leader makes the position. What is more important than having a leadership position is to have the heart of a leader. If we have the heart of a leader to serve others, to add value to others and come alongside their life to make it better, if we have a leadership heart, we will always have a position in their heart as a leader.

My Thoughts About This:

I can tell that I have "grown" in this area by what I chase after. Today I am in full out pursuit of God and His Kingdom! As a new Christian, I was always seeking a title, a niche, a position; I was called to my ministry occupation 1^st before I was called to God. Over the years, God flip flopped that into a Holy Alignment with Him. Jesus is 1^st, I am His Firstee and the only position I desire is in His Grace and the only title I want is His servant warrior!
