Willessness truly does grow some really awesome things in me. I am developing a trust, deeper than I ever thought imaginable. My spiritual discernment has increased by leaps and bounds. I don't rationalize or waste time in reason; my time is served better by quick obedience. Willessness keeps me in pace with God's divine appointments. Willessness Rocks! AWE-GOD!

How am I gonna do this!! Silly isn't it, little old me trying to figure out in my today what God can do so easily and perfectly in my tomorrow! Bob got hooked in with an amazing company. They do all DOD work. He did not even have to send a resume, which is so like our GOD!! He had sent out about 60 resumes without a peep and then God just opens this door immediately through someone he worked for at the VA hospital that really liked him, whose friend owns this company. He is making 17 thousand a year more and they gave him more than he asked them for… isn't that crazy… never has that happened before. .
I think as we get older we think we can push the envelope of time without paying the consequences. I have learned that I am healthier at this age if I don't take every minute of every day and push myself so hard until I collapse late at night in bed… we really need at our age, especially us women to save some time to rest, relax our mind, body and soul… We just can't do the run, run, run thing 24/7 without messing up our health.
Let Go, BE Still and Know God is working things out the best He can, at His pace and by His perfect will and eventually… LOL… everything is good!!! We always do better as women when we keep our eyes on Jesus, instead of trying to figure things out… this song is one of my favorites, it will bless you as it does me!

Psalms 51:17
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
The word contrite in Hebrew is 'dakah' which means one that is crushed to pieces. Paul wrote of being a 'living sacrifice' holy and acceptable to God. Being a living sacrifice means we often can walk off the altar. To be a continual living sacrifice we need to renew our minds day to day! Let your mind be renewed -- off the things which are worldly and onto those things which are Godly. When our minds are focused on those things above, on His holiness, His righteousness, His grace, and His mercy -- we realize that we can always be closer to Him! We understand what Isaiah meant when he said, "our righteousness is nothing but filthy rags before the Lord."
When God provided for Himself the perfect sacrifice, His Son, 2000 years ago -- His heart bursted! His heart was cut through -- cut for you! God desires you to be a living sacrifice and a necessary ingredient is a heart that has been cut through by God's sharp knife. When you allow your heart to be continually cut through by God's Spirit, then your life will be a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable before Him! Kimberly, it's wonderful what God can do with a broken heart, especially when we give Him all the pieces!
My Thoughts About This:
Wow, the thought of being a continual living sacrifice, this is where I long to be, I am pretty far from it, not like Jesus was… I want that completely in my life, I do. My heart does feel torn right now. I am torn by God saving us, saving our house and keeping us from going bankrupt and the joy and gratefulness of that is huge, yet the way of receiving this blessing of His Sovereign will is a hard way. I love my husband, we are married and I want to be with him. I don't understand why God would not want us together, and God is not giving me this, He is saying trust Him… It tortures my will, makes it angry inside of me, yet I am so very humbled by God saving us that it trumps my will, breaks it into a thousand pieces! God speaks to me and says: This is the way of My Sovereign will, walk with Me. My flesh says: I can't do this, my will bucks and says I won't do this and screams out WHY?? My spirit says: Yes Lord, stretch me, grow me to be more obedient just like You were in the Garden of Gethsemane where you worked out our salvation with fear and trembling. Jesus! I don't want to go this way, I don't understand the why of it, but I will follow You, this is true Followship! You broke my will last night, I know the feel of God's sharp knife. I feel Your Sovereign will stronger in me today and I am clinging to Your Unconditional Infinite Love. Jesus! Followship! So Be It!

In our modern fastfood and microwave culture, people are always looking for the shortcut to satisfaction. The very idea of 'delayed gratification' has become a thing of the past. Some people want all the benefits of marriage without the ring and commitment. Others want to mortgage a new house without the means to pay for it, or take out a new car loan and then they try to figure how to pay for it.
The Bible gives us fair warning about these attitudes and gives plenty of examples of the wrong way to do things and the consequences that follow. We go through the 'motions' of being good, obedient children of God, and then we follow the world. Our modern culture says it is not necessary to wait or do things in proper order.
Jude 1:20
20 But you, dear friends, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,
Jude's exhortation is a process of building faith. It takes time and commitment to prayer to build a solid prayer life. It didn't just happen overnight for me. It took a lot of falling down and getting up and I still struggle to maintain my relationship with the LORD and will as long as I am alive. Praise God for His matchless grace!
There is a saying I hope we all can live up to: you can't learn to lead, until you have learned to lean on the head of the church, Jesus Christ.
We can all apply this lesson to every facet of living the Christian life. It is true in marital relationships, business relationships, family relationships as well as the church family.

My Thoughts About This:
My struggle is with my will and I feel like when it kicks up, it moves me out of Holy Alignment with God's Presence. If I cling to the perfect love of God, it seems as if the Sovereign Will of God is easier to bend towards. I know Lord that is why Your Sovereign Will and Your Infinite Love go hand in hand, they are never apart from each other. I deeply desire to be steadfast and consistent in the all of my everything, bowing to God's will and loving Him with an undivided heart. I do believe that our struggle is our testimony, it is the proof of our love for God, the mark of our faith. Our heart says Yes, our Spirit obeys and our will kicks up dust, but God never stops bending our wills to fully face His.
I truly feel like the only way up to God is down! Will to the ground! Bowing before God in the morning, helps set my will in the right place. I know what I fight is a culture sickness, that creates a human conditioning of my will. I want things and I want them now, my way and exactly how I planned. My culture says Yes, have it now, have it when you want it, exactly how you want it and it conditions my will in the foolishness of this way, making me think I should have what I want, when I want it. My will gets saturated in self want that my culture constantly entices me with; cultural creature comforts are in the face of my will taunting me with what I should have, what my rights are and how to get what I want now. The Kingdom purposes of God take time to work out very precisely every good thing He has for me. When I cut this process short, by making cultural choices for the have it now satisfaction, the best is not yet to come! God's purposes are at work within His Sovereign Will and when I bow to Him each morning, I bow my will to His and I find that stepping down first thing of my day, bowing my will to the ground, is the very thing that causes me to rise up to the position of His Sovereign Will, which is hand in hand with His Infinite Love, a powerful love that gives me the strength to walk the way of God's Sovereign Will, to realize the precise, complete Kingdom purposes He has for me in the day at hand.

Faith Versus Fear
"When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me? Psalm 56:3-4
Fear is a formidable foe of faith. It lurks about, looking for ways to lead us into distrust of our Lord. Fear is subtle with its sneak attacks on our attitudes and is bold in its frontal barrage on our beliefs. Fear always fights back, even when we extinguish it for a time with our total trust in God. And it doesn't let up until we get to heaven.
Fear is like fire ants. You can eliminate their unholy mound with a baby powder-like deterrent, but they regroup and rebuild nearby. Trust in the Lord is the terminator of fear, but fear seems to recreate itself with whatever appendage of doubt is left. It grows within the next uncertain circumstance that comes our way.
Fear thinks it has us in check on the chessboard of our life, but the truth is that Jesus has checkmated fear on the cross. Now it is up to us to appropriate His triumph by trusting in God. There are many times when we are in transition from fear to faith. It's in the transition of trust in God that our cares co-mingle with Christ's care.
There is a holy tension that transpires in our transition to trust in our Lord. It is in this dawn of trust that light gradually overcomes darkness. Faith dissolves doubts as the sun drives away the mist. Your mind may be a little murky, but you renew your thinking (Romans 12:2) with the truth that God is ever present. Your confidence may be crumbling, but you keep your eyes on your Savior. Your prayers may be clumsy, but you still cling to Christ.
Your relationships may be wavering, but you rely on the Lord. Use this transition from fear to faith to grow your mercy and compassion for others. Indeed, doubting can drive us to God, and it grows us into more patient and humble human beings. It strengthens our trust and makes us hold faster to heaven. Our hope trusts in Him in this transition from fear to faith.
Moreover, mortal man has not made a permanent impression on the saints of God. Immortal and Almighty God is your new insignia. Embedded on the coins of your character is the faith-filled inscription, "In God I Trust." Followers of Jesus have the eternal seal of their Savior on their newfound identity (Ephesians 4:30).
Do not allow the patterns of your old life to feed any fading fears in your new one (Romans 6:6). The fears of your proud past have been replaced with faith, love, and hope in your humble here and now. Faith has banished fear. Therefore, you can continually celebrate. Praise points you to Providence. After all, it's all about Him.
This is why faith brings forth praise. When you trust, you can't help but sing from your soul. Indeed, faith in the Lord facilitates praise and is a product of praise. It is in our praise of God that our fears fade and our faith flourishes. So praise Him, trust Him, and fear no one. No one can take from you what you have already given to Him. Faith is a fear-killer; it overcomes.
My Thoughts About This:
Simply-Significantly God's perfect love casts out all fear in my life path today. I must cling harder to Him – dig my roots deeper in His love, because in this place I will find the best truth, the best way, the best life flow! The only way to hurdle the obstacles of fear in my life-path today is with Jesus.
