MY THOUGHTS:

Hey precious family! Sometimes life hits us hard! Things happen that we totally don't anticipate! Sometimes it is utterly outrageous and very ill timed when something suddenly collides with your harmony on your life path! Have you been there? I have! Last week my laptop computer suddenly went down and I got myself in such a spiritual funk because of it. I cried, got depressed and entertained all kinds of stupid thoughts of doubts, fears, frustrations and foolishness that just took me down to a very low pit! It was a total flesh fit for which God has forgiven me! Thank you Jesus! But I know you all understand the strong draw to react in the flesh over responding through our faith first! So, this is what I am praying for us and our family members today!  First Response=Faith In God!

MY THOUGHTS:

I am running straight to You, Lord Jesus! Today, I am making adjustments in my heart and hope to cope better with the changes that my lap top computer going down implicates on my Kingdom Work! Oh Lord, I was not ready for it, it was such very bad timing and it hit my heart in the wrong place at the wrong time! Please forgive me for my reaction of flesh! One thing I can see is that my enemy is divisive and I need to be able to keep my heart well guarded so that satan does not push my flesh buttons! I have spent the last 6 weeks packing, moving and getting settled and trying to keep a good attitude about another life change, that I was not ready for and right when I am settled and really ready to start back at my Website, the very day (did I say the very day…) I am to get back at my Writing… BAM!!! My computer gets hit with something and it is suddenly gone! HMMMMM….

So we're not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There's far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can't see now will last forever.

MY THOUGHTS:

Lately, I am learning that keeping my focus on Jesus is the key to keeping my peace in the midst of these life tornados! Instead of walking straight into the spin, I need to run into Your Arms Lord Jesus! I am also seeing the graciousness of God in the way He always has a backup plan and I am on it right now. Our old computer! I am HOPING BIG that it will last until I get the other one fixed! I have to admit that I am working out my frustrations moment to moment that this computer is not the same and that it is greatly limited compared to my laptop, yet I am not counting God out!! HOPING HUGE! I have had to make some changes in my plan, but the first change I decided to make is a heart adjustment called: Attitude of Gratitude! I am thankful for what I have, even if it is not what I want. I am thankful that God had a backup plan and that at least I do have a computer that works! I am thankful that He is going to find a way out of this crash of my good computer and it will be for my good in my all and everything!

Here I AM Lord

MY THOUGHTS:

One thing I have learned through this last stupid attack of my enemy and my even more stupid flesh reaction is that God has a plan and nothing will thwart it and that I need to focus on the bigger picture in times of confusion, stress, doubt and frustration so that I don't act out on these little fleeting things, but I stand on the truth that refocus my life on the BIG PICTURE! God will finish what He started in me and I need to focus on Him and not stuff; because life is so short and I need to live each day excellently as if it were my last day.

Philippians 1:6

And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.

Moment to Moment…Faith First! How does that look for me? I let go of my plan, accept His today, I hope in Him, I place all my expectations in Him and I focus on Him and what He has for me today, because He has my today settled! God is here with me right now and in this moment, I have all I need because of Jesus. He is my Excellent Provider! My Growth Area today is: Live excellently today with all I have been given, no matter what that looks like, because I can't take for granted that I will even have a tomorrow, therefore I let be of what I can't fix in my now and in my tomorrow and put my focus on my Jesus and His Kingdom Trade for me in this moment!
