AWE- ALMIGHTY GOD!
Make My Life A Constant Conversation With You!
********************************************************************************
I Kimberly Ann McCarthy will be aware of God's purposes today, I will walk in Willessness, giving me God's purposes in full finite clarity and knowing my trials are not about me, but about the audience God is inspiring as they watch me go to grow through my all and everything today.
- 1 Peter 3:15
"But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,"
My Thoughts About These Verses:
Gentleness and respect come only by the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus I pray for Your anointing and favor today, make me humble, gentle and respectful to others as I share truth, Your Truth with them today.
Notes From Listening To 1 Peter
1 Peter 3…. Wives be submissive to your husbands, so they can be won over by the behavior-purity reverence of our lives…. Not outward adornment, but inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle-quiet spirit of great worth in God's sight. Be submissive, do what is right, do not give way to fear. Husbands be considerate, treat them with respect, nothing will hinder your prayers. Live in harmony with one another, be sympathetic, compassionate… do not repay evil with evil… keep your tongue from evil and lips from deceitful speech, turn from evil and do good, for the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous. Who will harm you if you are eager to do good? IN your hearts, set apart Christ as Lord and be prepared to give an answer… gentle and respectful. Keep a clear conscious, it is better if it is God's will to suffer for doing good than doing evil… Christ died for sins once and for all, put to death in the body, Water symbolizes baptism that saves you, the pledge of a good conscious towards God by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ at the right hand of God with angels, powers an authorities in submission to Him. Jesus!
My Thoughts About These Verses:
A gentle and a contrite heart. Compassion, sympathy and respect all keep our lips from evil, because our hearts are pure.

Numbers 11:21-23
21 But Moses replied (to the Lord), "I'm in the middle of a people with 600,000 foot soldiers, yet You say, 'I will give them meat, and they will eat for a month.'22 If flocks and herds were slaughtered for them, would they have enough? Or if all the fish in the sea were caught for them, would they have enough?" 23 The Lord answered Moses, "is the Lord's power limited? You will see whether or not what I have promised will happen to you."
Dear Bob and Kim,
The forty years of wandering in the wilderness is filled with lessons for all of us today. In this scene, Moses is bordering on blasphemy with what appears on the surface to be sarcasm, yet he was serious. Even after witnessing the LORD's power and majesty at the Red Sea and other miracles, he still doubted that God could perform the impossible. Moses had to repeatedly exercise his faith. Yet, each trial made his faith stronger.
How many times have we looked for God in impossible situations? How many times has He answered our prayers with mercy and grace? How many times have we doubted?
I have witnessed and received many miracles from God. The greatest of these was when He saved me from the penalty of sin at Christmas of 1996. I have witnessed medical miracles after the doctors said there was no more they could do. I have seen people beyond any help from a doctor brought to health by the hand of God.
In every case where God heals, He does so for His purpose. In every case when someone passes from this life to eternity, it is for His purpose. In every personal tragedy or trial God intervenes for His purpose and glory. He gives His favor and glory to bring His people into a closer relationship with Him; a relationship of faith and trust.
Romans 8:28
28 We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
I pray that our God will increase your faith through every trial that comes your way today and until that glorious day when we see His face. Amen
My Thoughts About These Verses:
This is so true!!! God did an amazing miracle for my husband and I. It was a miracle of perfect timing in His provision. He gave Bob such a great job, better by more than you could imagine from the job he was let go from. Yet, we have to be apart. So I whined… just like the Israelites, I was not satisfied or trusting in the way God provided. I was not trusting God because the plan did not look like I would have planned it. Yet now I realize that everything God does has good purpose in it. I have repented and I am fully trusting God, clinging to Him and realizing that His perfect purposes are in play in my life and all will eventually be great!

Mark 11 ~ The Message Bible 22-25
Jesus was matter-of-fact: "Embrace this God-life. Really embrace it, and nothing will be too much for you. This mountain, for instance: Just say, 'Go jump in the lake'—no shuffling or shilly-shallying—and it's as good as done. That's why I urge you to pray for absolutely everything, ranging from small to large. Include everything as you embrace this God-life, and you'll get God's everything. And when you assume the posture of prayer, remember that it's not all asking. If you have anything against someone, forgive—only then will your heavenly Father be inclined to also wipe your slate clean of sins."

Exodus 20:3
3 "Do not have other gods besides Me".
Dear Bob and Kim,
Since the change came to Washington, I have been reminding people about putting their faith in the government. Government is supposed to give us a measure of order and we are to "render to Caesar what belongs to Caesar". It is God's plan that we have the rule of order. The Bible teaches, and I believe, that we are never to place government above God. Government is ordained by God for its purpose, but government was never meant to replace God as our source of abundant life.
We have watched as the stock market has dwindled taking our retirement savings with it. It will possibly rebound within the next few years, but many will leave this world before they see their savings return. We are not promised tomorrow. We must ALL pray that the leaders in this country and all the other countries on this planet receive divine guidance for the purposes of God. It may be that God's divine plan does not include the return of lost income. Just maybe we are on the verge of a mighty movement of the Almighty to put His people back on the track that leads to HIM and HIM alone as our God.
2 Chronicles 7:13-14
13 If I close the sky so there is no rain, or if I command the grasshopper to consume the land, or if I send pestilence on My people, 14 and My people who are called by My name humble themselves, pray and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.
Who is YOUR God today? Money? Government? Your employer?
I pray God will grant you shalom (peace) today. He is still on the throne of my life. Who's on the throne of your life?

My Thoughts About These Verses:
I agree! Followship is letting go of all things and clinging exclusively to God, looking to God, setting our focus on Him and all that He is and can be. Our hope should be in God 1st, there is no one greater than our God, no one wiser, no one Who holds our future as He does! AWE-GOD!

Strength in the Lord
"I will strengthen them in the Lord and in his name they will walk,' declares the Lord." Zechariah 10:12
The Lord is our strength for the journey of life. Fatigue and discouragement can assault us like a bandit on a deserted dirt road. Life is constantly swinging its bruising punches. Before long we can become beat down with no energy to continue. We know in our head we are a child of the King, but our heart feels no royal resilience. Fatigue requires faith. Weariness is an opportunity for the Lord to strengthen you. He uses His people to energize and encourage one another. We are all needy and it is just a matter of time before we all have to learn how to receive our strength from Him. The Lord wraps His strength around the gift of a prayer warrior—someone who storms heaven on your behalf.
Do not let divorce, death or disappointment exclude you from the Lord's strength. Work will get you down. People will let you down. Failure will knock you down. Your greatest fears may cause you to wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat. Fight fear with fear. Let the fear of God strengthen you, as it fortifies your faith in Him.
"Teach me your way, LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name" (Psalm 86:11).
The greatest energy drainer may be serving God in our own strength. This is one of Satan's most effective schemes. He wants to occupy us in good activity void of eternal energy. Serving God and others in our own strength means we are driven by what we can do for God, rather than what He can do through us. It's the difference in being energized in our service or being drained by our service. Christ's strength comes from being still.
He strengthens your soul in daily quietness before Him. His whisper of affirmation motivates you to walk with Him. It is learning to trust in Him and not strive for Him. This total trust replenishes your soul like an ice-cold sports drink to a cyclist ascending the tallest mountain in the blazing hot Tour de France. His spirit gives life and endurance. When you received Christ you received His strength. Strength already resides within you. He is available to you. Your Savior has no fuel crisis to reckon with, as His supernatural resources are infinite. You cannot go for encouragement too many times. Walk in His name and be energized by Him. His Holy Spirit infuses strength, so be strong in the Lord!
"Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace and was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers" (Acts 9:31).
Does my strength reside in my righteous Savior or in my own exhausting efforts?

My Thoughts About This:
I read the above and I know in my heart, this is where I struggle. I try to hard in my own strength at times. I am learning true followship, this is where the Holy Spirit is teaching me through allowing many things in my life, things I can't control, things I have not planned and things I can't handle. He is teaching me followship. How to follow after God, how to walk in His strength, How to walk by His Light instead of me kindling my own man made fire. Nothing good happens when I walk by the light of a man-made fire… just like the Word says… I lay down in emotional torment. Change me Holy Spirit, I want to learn followship!!
******Ramah From God******
Ramah Word! Selah …pause, and calmly think of this :
Isaiah 50:4-11
[The Servant of God says] The Lord God has given Me the tongue of a disciple and of one who is taught, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He wakens Me morning by morning, He wakens My ear to hear as a disciple [as one who is taught].5 The Lord God has opened My ear, and I have not been rebellious or turned backward.6 I gave My back to the smiters and My cheeks to those who plucked off the hair; I hid not My face from shame and spitting. 7 For the Lord God helps Me; therefore have I not been ashamed or confounded. Therefore have I set My face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame. 8 He is near Who declares Me in the right. Who will contend with Me? Let us stand forth together! Who is My adversary? Let him come near to Me. 9 Behold, the Lord God will help Me; who is he who will condemn Me? Behold, they all will wax old and be worn out as a garment; the moth will eat them up. 10 Who is among you who [reverently] fears the Lord, who obeys the voice of His Servant, yet who walks in darkness and deep trouble and has no shining splendor [in his heart]? Let him rely on, trust in, and be confident in the name of the Lord, and let him lean upon and be supported by his God.11 Behold, all you [enemies of your own selves] who attempt to kindle your own fires [and work out your own plans of salvation], who surround and gird yourselves with momentary sparks, darts, and firebrands that you set aflame!--walk by the light of your self-made fire and of the sparks that you have kindled [for yourself, if you will]! But this shall you have from My hand: you shall lie down in grief and in torment.
Amplified Bible Copyright © 1954, 1958, 1962, 1964, 1965, 1987 by The Lockman Foundation
My Thoughts About This:
This is truly a Ramah verse for me, given to me specifically from the Holy Spirit as a light for my path, a change for my heart and a way I must walk in. I must learn it, deeply within my heart and I must, must walk in it. For years I have struggled off and on with this, with kindling my own fires and walking by the light of a man-made fire. Enough! I am done with this. I want to turn 100 degrees to face the truth of this verse and to live it 100 percent of the time. I want to be the servant of God Who trusts completely in Him, relying only upon Him, being confident only in His Name! I am tired of laying down in torment and having emotions torn up by grief because of my walk with a man-made fire. I want to walk in the truth and light of my Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ! So Be It! I want the Holy Spirit to wake me every morning and teach me, being His disciple, and I want to be the one He can uses to bring a good word of exhortation and encouragement in all seasons of life to all people He divinely connects me to . So Be It! Jesus! Jesus!
A Minute With Maxwell
Failure! Failure is a word that we all dread, because we don't want to be marked as a person who is not successful. It is something we all do on a continual basis, we all fail. Everyone has failed, no one likes it. Failure is never the problem, it is our response to the failure that helps us or hurts us. Negative response hurts us. Positive response helps us. It is not the failure that does us in, it is how we respond to it.
My Thoughts By His Holy Spirit About This Verse! AWE GOD!
I noticed that my response to failure was always to run to a bad place in my heart, where I had a stronghold of thought that spoke this lie: "You will never be good enough, you will always take second, never 1st" Failure always ended up in a pouty party for me until I got sick and tired of dancing with discouragement-despair-disillusionment. I made a mark in the sand and I stepped past the lie that I was not good enough. I began to have an Omnipresent Reality Check in the face of my failures, realizing that God was still there with me, He was interested in me and loved me enough to help me grow through my failures. I was good enough for God. Failure to me now is an opportunity to grow and learn to be more like Jesus, the One Who thinks I am good enough to shape and use for His Kingdom purposes! AWE-GOD!
QUOTES THAT ENCOURAGE-INSPIRE GROWTH-CHANGE ME
Service for Christ is not to make us feel better about ourselves, rather our service is to glorify our Savior Jesus. Boyd Bailey
I am a committed to-the-death devoted follower of Jesus Christ. I am not a mere 'fan' who will walk away when I don't like what he asks me to do or when my 'self' disagrees with his solution to a problem in my life.
