The Bible-Live In It!

“The Bible is one of the greatest blessings bestowed by God on the children of men. It has God for its Author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture for its matter. It is all pure, all sincere; nothing too much; nothing wanting!” Quote by: Locke Psalm 119:88-90
I'm homesick—longing for your salvation; I'm waiting for your word of hope. My eyes grow heavy watching for some sign of your promise; how long must I wait for your comfort? There's smoke in my eyes—they burn and water, but I keep a steady gaze on the instructions you post. How long do I have to put up with all this? How long till you haul my tormentors into court? The arrogant godless try to throw me off track, ignorant as they are of God and his ways. Everything you command is a sure thing, but they harass me with lies. Help! They've pushed and pushed—they never let up—but I haven't relaxed my grip on your counsel. In your great love revive me so I can alertly obey your every word. 89-96 What you say goes, God, and stays, as permanent as the heavens. Your truth never goes out of fashion; it's as up-to-date as the earth when the sun comes up. Your Word and truth are dependable as ever; that's what you ordered—you set the earth going. If your revelation hadn't delighted me so, I would have given up when the hard times came. But I'll never forget the advice you gave me; you saved my life with those wise words. Save me! I'm all yours. I look high and low for your words of wisdom. The wicked lie in ambush to destroy me, but I'm only concerned with your plans for me. I see the limits to everything human, but the horizons can't contain your commands! (The Message) Copyright © 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 2000, 2001, 2002 by Eugene H. Peterson Precious Family, you can always hear me saying: “Life is hard but God is Good!” Most of the time when I say something I am living it, or God is in the process of teaching me how to live it. How do I live in His Light of this phrase I have spoken above? I have learned that the Goodness of God is His Living Word to us. In The Bible, we find His Gift Of Goodness that gives us His Strength, Wisdom and Peace! As we apply His Word to our lives, His Goodness prevails by taking that which is meant to be hard and growing us in His Grace, positioning us in the center of character, personality and mind. Being found in the Bible, is being found in His Presence, Provision, Peace and Protection in and through our all in all! Our country is going to hit some really hard times, life as we know it now, is about to get harder. So precious family, I exhort you that now…. right now is the time, a time such as this to get grounded in the Word Of God, The Goodness of God given to us for times such as these where life is hard…but God is Good! Just Do It! Glow His Goodness-Glow His Glory! “Feed on Christ, and then go and live your life, and it is Christ in you that lives your life, that helps the poor, that tells the truth, that fights the battle, and that wins the crown.” Quote By: Philips Brooks Psalm 19:7 - 11 The law of the Lord is perfect. It gives us new strength. The laws of the Lord can be trusted. They make childish people wise. 8 The rules of the Lord are right. They give joy to our hearts. The commands of the Lord shine brightly. They give light to our minds. 9 The law that brings respect for the Lord is pure. It lasts forever. The directions the Lord gives are true. All of them are completely right. 10 They are more priceless than gold. They have greater value than huge amounts of pure gold. They are sweeter than honey that is taken from the honeycomb. 11 I am warned by them. When I obey them, I am greatly rewarded. · Father God, we have created a relativism in our world that causes us to white-wash Your hedge of protection with an arrogant independence from You. A little bit of compromise here, a turn of the head to look the other way and before we know it, we are being found making our own man-made fires and walking in the temporary light of them. Father draw this family to the reality of Your truth and keep us positioned in the strength of its purity and righteousness. Help us not to be a family who walks the broad path of foolish relativism in our morality, purity or holiness. May we be a family whose lives are not tainted by the pollen of the broad path of life, but a family who wholly lives by the Word of God, following the narrow path, setting our life compass by the directions contained within the pages of our Bibles; the living, powerful and genuinely spoken Words of our Almighty God! Help us to be a family who chooses life, life in the Word, life in the Integrity of God that makes our hard days yield absolute, God given goodness. Make it so in us Lord Jesus! Draw us to Your Living Word.

Youth Leader Discipleship

Hey God's Precious Youth Leaders!
We are going to start with talking about purpose, seeing God's purpose in everything you do in Youth Ministry. Targeting all your activities with the purpose of God and specifically targeting each activity to a target audience. We will define the youth for you so that you will be able to know which youth is in which target audience. Target... Target... Target.... Jesus! Anyway... here is a good start... I read this today: It is by Dr. John Maxwell: Charting the Course for Others Lead good people down a wrong pathand you’ll come to a bad end;do good and you’ll be rewarded for it.Proverbs 28:10 (The Message) Leaders who navigate do even more than control the direction in which they and their people travel. They see the whole trip in their minds before they leave the dock. They have a vision for their destination, they understand what it will take to get there, they know who they’ll need on the team to be successful, and they recognize the obstacles long before they appear on the horizon. First–rate navigators always have in mind that other people are depending on them and their ability to chart a good course, and the secret to successful navigation is preparation. When you prepare well, you convey confidence and trustworthiness to the people. You see, it’s not the size of the project that determines its acceptance, support, and success—it’s the size of the leader. Leaders who are good navigators are capable of taking their people just about anywhere. Written By John Maxwell From: The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership
Here is some youth discipleship wisdom for you from Bob and Kim:
When you plan an activity, service or anything for the youth, you are charting a course to God's purposes for them, you are pointing them in the direction of Jesus and the Kingdom of God and setting them to sail in that direction. Everything you do, every activity has Kingdom Purpose. Never forget that!
You have to know your youth, get to know where they are at in thier walk with God. That takes focus. When you are with the youth, ask God for focus. Leave everything behind you and focus your full attention on the youth. Listen to them and you will know them... you will hear thier heart. It is easy to fall into just "doing" youth ministry, showing up and "doing"... We want you to be leaders who are "being".... Being His... Whole heart, spirit, mind, soul... into what you are being for God... His Message!!!! Be like Jesus... when you say His Name... You have His full attention. Learn your youth... Be focused! Be 100 percent there for them...
Every activity should have a Target Audience of youth: Lost, Seekers, Saved, Servants. You may be doing a large group activity, but you might be targeting a small group within that activity.
You have a platform that God has given you. Every day you step up on that platform and share the gospel light and message in some way. Youth Ministry Is A Platform That God Has Given You To Be His Voice, His Feet, His Love, His Life... You step up on that platform and you are His message. (FYI: a great teaching series on using your God given platform and being His message can be found at www.hillsongtv.com click on TV and then on watch online) If you read the gospels with this in mind... look at Jesus, He always had a target audience. It may have been one person He was targeting or a group or a discipleship group... but He always had a message for that target audience.
If you are planning an activity here might be your target audiences and your message for them:
Lost Youth: Evangelistic Message
Seeking Youth: Salvation Message
Saved Youth: Discipleship Message
Servant Leadership Youth: Seed Planting Message
In the next few weeks we will go through each of these four categories in detail! So you will know what a "Lost Youth" looks like. I am sure you might already know that... but this will get very detailed about what they look like... inside... with outside symptoms that you see.
We are going to talk about this... target audiences... how to do it... how to evangelize, disciple and grow youth in Christ by using a target audience activity... that has Purpose... Planned Purpose... Prayed Up Purpose... Talked Up Purpose...
So here we go... hope you have a great weekend! Happy Mother's Day!
Please....We want you to post a comment each time, so that We know you are getting it and We can hear your feedback, your questions, your insights. Thanks!
Glowing His Glory Bob N Kim

Be...See To It!

“Man still retains within himself the need to love a perfect object that will never disappoint him and to be himself loved totally and unconditionally. These needs can be met only in a relationship with God Himself. Otherwise, we go on demanding unattainable absolutes from human beings.” Quote ByTom Marshall Psalm 62:5-6 I will find my rest in God alone. He is the One who gives me hope. 6 He alone is my rock. He is the One who saves me. He is like a fort to me. I will always be secure. New International Reader's Version (NIRV) Copyright © 1996, 1998 by International Bible Society BE….Just Do It… See to it! Life is good and life is hard… but God is always, always the best of both. He never changes, He is always with us. He is our provider, our daily provision in our all in all! Thank you Lord Jesus! When I pray lately, I feel exhorted by God to get ready for a tough season of time that is coming in our United States Of America! Therefore, I pray for our family today that we would “See To It" like verse six of Matthew Chapter 4 says… See To It… One of the ways I am "Seeing To It", is by finding the places of discontentment and dissatisfaction in my life and leveling them out by uprooting the roots of this world and transplanting my roots, deeply planting them in the Kingdom of God. I am learning to live more simply and place my expectations and hopes in God more than I do in this world or the people of this world. Kingdom Focus is one of the ways we need to be found in: “Seeing To It…”! I pray for us, this precious family today, calling out each name to the Father God, because I am God’s Exhorter… I am not a prophet, so I can’t say what is or what is not going to come upon this nation, but I can say and encourage you to… "SEE TO IT…." because this Word of God's scripture below seems strangely familiar, it almost sounds like FOX NEWS last night….. and because He said… “see that you…” so I therefore say to exhort us: “See To It… Be Completely His… Just Do It… See To It!”

Matthew 4-14 Jesus answered them, Be careful that no one misleads you [deceiving you and leading you into error]. 5For many will come in (on the strength of) My name [[a]appropriating the name which belongs to Me], saying, I am the Christ (the Messiah), and they will lead many astray. 6And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened or troubled, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. 7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in place after place; 8All this is but the beginning [the early pains] of the [b]birth pangs [of the [c]intolerable anguish]. 9Then they will hand you over to suffer affliction and tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. 10And then many will be offended and repelled and will [d]begin to distrust and desert [Him Whom they ought to trust and obey] and will stumble and fall away and betray one another and pursue one another with hatred. 11And many false prophets will rise up and deceive and lead many into error. 12And the love of [e]the great body of people will grow cold because of the multiplied lawlessness and iniquity, 13But he who endures to the end will be saved. 14And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end. God's Battle-Our Platform Promises!

His Battle-Our Platform Promises! 2 Chronicles 20:15-17 Jahaziel said, "King Jehoshaphat, listen! All you who live in Judah and Jerusalem, listen! The Lord says to you, 'Do not be afraid. Do not lose hope because of this huge army. The battle is not yours. It is mine. 16" 'Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz. You will find them at the end of the valley in the Desert of Jeruel. 17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take your positions. Stand firm. You will see how I will save you. Judah and Jerusalem, do not be afraid. Do not lose hope. Go out and face them tomorrow. I will be with you.' "Divine Destiny is realized through the willessness to human experiences and the position of true wisdom found in a Servant Warrior armored in the Promises Of God, fighting the good fight in the Lord’s Battle! It is not our battle, it is His… we are His servants! Make it so in us Lord Jesus! Teach Us! Change Us! Position Us On Platforms Of Promise! Jesus!"
Quote By: Kimberlymac
Servant Warriors: As we sacrificially serve God, we stand upon God’s Promises with courage, confidence and expectant hope! Life in Christ as His servants is awesome and very challenging at the same time. Today, I pray for all of us, His Seasoned Servants, that we would find our faith positioned upon God’s Promises and reach for the abundance of His Life as we stretch our expectations by faith and stand strong in the Hope of God’s Promises! I pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to teach us to look to Jesus, Who will exceed our expectations, dreams and hopes by His power and might. The battle belongs to the Lord and we are His! Servant Warriors, I pray that we will always be found in His Presence, Provision, Protection and Peace… Standing on His Promises! If you are interested in receiving the entire prayer-exhortation of:
