Fully is God's trade mark upon our lives. He completes everything and He always finishes well.

It is my AWE-GOD Who will bring to completion everything in my life.

The Bible says that Jesus experienced death for us. So you and I do not have to experience eternal death because He has paid the penalty for our sin and given us the gift of eternal life. Now that is something to rejoice about!

Because of Christ's resurrection and victory over death, what happens when you wake up in the morning? I believe that when Christians put their feet on the floor in the morning, hell ought to shake. Demons should tremble when they realize we're up!

That's exactly what will happen when we realize who we are in Christ and understand the authority we have in Him. We are soldiers in the army of God. We have authority in Him!

Jesus has defeated sin and death. Now we need to consistently walk in the authority and victory that He provides for us. Then you will be extremely dangerous to the enemy of God.

Prayer Starter: God, thank You for the victory I have in You. Every day, help me to further understand the price You paid for me, so that I can walk in all the authority and victory that You have for me.

Wisdom predates the creation. Like Jesus, it was with God from the beginning. Wisdom is the Lord's instrument of creativity and beauty. It stands by His side as a craftsman ever ready to create for the cause of Christ. Indeed, it is from heavenly inspired wisdom that we experience creative earthly results. Wisdom longs for you to look for better ways to complement your calling, by prayerfully engaging the Lord's limitless resources.
The creative energy of wisdom does not sit still but seeks out other meaningful methods and models. If how you did something in the past is not effective in the present, put it to rest and watch the Holy Spirit reengineer the effort. What will it take for you to let go of control and be creative? The best people leave entrenched environments lacking creativity; however, wise is the leader who invites innovation.
"He [the Lord] has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills—to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze" (Exodus 35:31–32).
Furthermore, there is a joy and an anticipation that accompany creativity. You feel fulfilled and significant when you create a product or process that achieves excellent results. Wisdom at work creates a system that rewards creative thinking around relationships and results. Remain creative and live; lose creativity and die. Indeed, intense adversity invites lavish creativity; so be wise, and use hard times to harness ingenuity. Challenge team members to create compelling content rich in substance, affordable in price, and easily accessible.
Above all else, tap into the wisdom and creativity of Christ. Eternity explodes in colorful creativity that birthed the universe. Go to Jesus and seek His mind for new and imaginative thinking. Prayer gives you permission to invent and innovate. Unleash wisdom and experience, the technicolor creativity of Christ. Partner with your Creator, and by faith and wisdom create for the cause of Christ.

This is so true! I am learning this right now. I can either let this intense adversity saturate my soul in sadness, or I can use it for God advantage by clinging tighter to God and digging my roots deeper in His Kingdom purpose. Oh how I need God's wisdom in this season of my life where intense adversity presses my face up against a wall. I want to escape this life season, but I know the only way out is to "grow through" in the wisdom and strength of God. Wisdom for this life season! How I need it! I love that! It went in my journal today! I love.... to seek joy in the saddest of places, sometimes I feel we settle into sadness, we let it saturate our soul, but if we would seek JOY Jesus1st Others 2nd You 3rd in that order then God would shatter the sadness with the power of His Servant's Heart. I am in a crazy season of life. I know it is just a season, but this speaks to me today. I need to shake off the sadness about my "life season" and seek JOY! Thanks! This life season has really beat on my soul and I have let things torture my mind because I don't understand this season of my life. I can't seem to find my way to the purposes of God for me. I am not fitting into them in a steady constancy. I move into what I think is the flow of His purposes and it feels right and I sense His anointing… I think I do and then WHAM… something suddenly changes it. I want to "grow through" this season of life, I am tired of it beating me down. I feel exhausted by people and their human conditions of jealousy, back biting, comparison and my human responses to it. I have been filled with so much sadness lately, just giving in to it. Simply-Significantly Jesus must become the fullness of my enough. I made a choice and I moved into a ministry that I felt I was led into by God and it has not turned out like I imagined it would. I heard so much from God, and felt I was moving in the flow of His Kingdom purposes, yet road blocks have come up and I am stumbling and not sure I can or am supposed to hurdle them. So I stand before them and I feel my soul blanketed in sadness. I really despise this season of my life, but I know I will not be going forward until I "grow through" it. I just sense God wants me to lay everything down and not pick up anything that HE does not put in my hands. If I lay it down and He picks it up and puts it back in my hands, then this is where the Kingdom purpose flows. I want to be called to God 1^st. I want to move more in the flow of His Kingdom purpose and less in my human condition. I so desire this. Jesus!

I love hot, black coffee and usually have a cup beside me as I work at my desk. But I will get so engrossed in what I am doing that time will pass more quickly than I realize. Again and again, while concentrating on my work, I will absent-mindedly pick up the cup of coffee only to find it is lukewarm. I am glad I am working in private, because my instinctive reaction is to immediately spit the coffee back into the cup!

What an eternal shame it would be if my life caused the Lord to react in the same disgusted way! Yet indifference to Christ was, and still is, disgusting to the Lord! It is incomprehensible to glimpse the glory of Jesus-

The Lord of glory . . .

The Rose of Sharon . . .

The bright Morning Star . . . and simply shrug! That's disgusting!

What will you do, instead, to live a life that delights Him?

I so don't want to be luke warm. Jesus please guide my life so I will be full of the passion for the things You are passionate about, so I won't walk in my human condition, but in the flow of Your Kingdom Character and Purpose. What can I do to live life today in a way that brings YOU, Lord Jesus great joy? Let It Be So In Me-May Your Character-Purpose Reign In Me! To delight HIM, I need to crucify my flesh, like Jesus did. A Seasoned Servant Of God Has Encouraged Me Today

Luke 9:23 Then he said to them all: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves (Give Up All Rights To Himself) and take up their cross daily and follow me."

Dear Bob and Kim,

This is one of those scriptures I wish I didn't have to read. Below are some of the aspects of the above command from our Lord with which I struggle. Check these out and see which ones YOU have trouble with. Let me know, if you want to. I promise not to be surprised. (We all struggle with these at times). If you are struggling with relationships, like in marriage or family, business or church, it might be because you don't understand what Jesus was teaching. Take a moment and see if your image is reflected in these mirrors.

The right to revenge: "You have heard that it was said, ''Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth,'' But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also."(Matthew 5:38, 39)

The right to dignity: "Do not resist an evil person, If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also."(Matthew 5:39b)

The right to justice: "If someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well."(Matthew 5:40b)

The right to freedom: "If someone forces you to go a mile, go with him two miles."(Matthew 5:41)

The right to control my resources: "Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you… Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth… But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven… For where your treasure is there your heart will be also."(Matthew 5:42; 6:19a, 20a, 21)

The right to hate my enemies: "You have heard that it was said, ''Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you… "(Matthew 5:43-44a)

The right to recognition: "Be careful not to do your ''acts of righteousness'' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven."(Matthew 6:1)

The right to bear a grudge: "If you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."(Matthew 6:14b, 15)

The right to judge others: "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."(Matthew 7:1, 2)

The right to anything: "Any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple."(Luke 14:33b)

Because, "The man who wants to save his life will lose it, but the man who loses it for my sake will save it."(Luke 9:24)

Truth brings life into relationships. Christianize with heart motives that are not the same as the words spoken bring death to others. Truth is your motive aligning up with your words. Truth is always the right choice. Dealing truly, living truly and loving truly. Truth is still truth even if it is rejected, it is still truth. Tell the truth to those you are in relationship with and never, never say something you don't mean in order to soften the blow of a hidden truth that you do mean. Don't' be afraid to speak the truth in love to those you are in relationship with. Truth is still truth even if it is rejected or ridiculed. Truth Is Still Truth!

How are we free in relationships with each other? The Fullness Of Truth! How do we not hurt one another? We speak in the fullness of truth where our heart motives line up with our spoken words in holy alignment with God's character and way.

Tell the truth to those you are in relationship with and never, never say something you don't mean in order to soften the blow of a hidden motive that you do mean. Motives matter to #AWE-GOD just as much as spoken words! The temporary, smiling facade of flattery does not last when bad motives come before The Light of God. Real Truth always rises above the flattery that hides true inward motives and comes out through the discernment of #AWE-GOD! Nothing, not even our motives stay hidden from God! God brings all hidden motives to His Light!

When Corrie Ten Boom (author of "The Hiding Place") was a little girl in Holland, her first realization of death came after a visit to the home of a neighbor who had died. It suddenly impressed her that some day her parents could also die. When Corrie went to her father about her concern, he comforted her with these words of wisdom. "Corrie, when you and I go to Amsterdam, when do I give you your ticket?" "Why, just before we get on the train," she replied. "Exactly," her father said, "and our wise Father in heaven knows when we're going to need things too. Don't run out ahead of Him, Corrie. When the time comes that some of us will have to die, you will look into your heart and find the strength you need--just in time."

Many of us don't think about it but we, as humans have such a problem with fear -- fear that God won't come through when we're in need. We want insurance -- insurance for our cars, insurance for our houses, for our health and for our lives. We want to be insured that we'll be okay if something happens. It has become our way of life in the western world.

Now, we're not saying go and cancel all your insurance plans -- but at the same time, God wants us to trust in His provision in our time of need! In our time here in Israel, we have truly learned the meaning of "never early, never late". Every single day since we have been here our faith has been tested and time and time again, God has provided for us in ways we could never conceive -- physically, spiritually, emotionally, financially and in every other way -- never early, never late -- always just when we need it.

Kimberly, we need not fear anything that is before us. God will give us the strength to endure anything that comes our way. He has our ticket!

What Are You Hoping for?

I have a question for you: What are you hoping for? What are you expecting in life? Are you looking for something good to happen or are you expecting to be disappointed?

So many people are feeling hopeless these days. However, Jesus did not die for us to be hopeless. He died so that we could be full of hope.

The devil wants to steal your hope and he will lie to you. He'll tell you that nothing good can happen in your life or that the things you care about won't last. If you're struggling with a difficult situation, he'll tell you it will never end. But you have to stay full of hope and remember that the devil is a liar. God can change everything!

Our Father is good, and He has good plans for your life. If you will maintain your hope, especially in the midst of troubled and uncertain times, He has promised you "double for your trouble". So refuse to give up hope. Start expecting God to do something, something good!

Developing My AWE-GOD With An Attitude Of Gratitude!

Awe-God Gratefulness 2012! I am grateful for the peace of God. I am grateful for how deep this peace runs as it surpasses the surface emotions that arise out of my situations and settles my soul constantly in its steadfast characteristic of pure calm. I am so thankful to be at peace, even during times of high stress on the outside, there is God's peace consistently inside. I am too grateful for this peace of God and the way it saturates my soul! Thank you Jesus!

This journey through this season of my life has been just plain hurtful. The sad part is it is the Christians that are hurting me! Jesus! Is this how you felt? The pain inside, the cut that is deep in your soul? Is this what You went through when religiosity struck against you? You were so misunderstood because You chose to be relational over religious. I feel that way too at times. This time I feel like religion has struck me down and I don't feel like getting up. The Bride Of Christ is not a fun place to be at times. We are studying it in Acts Chapter two, looking how it was, so full of joy and everyone having everything in common! Loving You 1^st over duty, title and religion. I so long for that. Being in the Bride of Christ is so painful at times, people striving for title and importance, wanting to be recognized by men, wanting popularity, wanting duty over being call to You 1^st. Sometimes it is even hard to tell the difference between the church and the world. How sad is that? It breaks my heart, saddens my soul. Pompous religiosity! Where duty reigns and titles are pursued and the common denominator is not Jesus Christ but human striving, willed dutiful Christians without a heart engaged with God or His Kingdom purposes in flow all around. How do I know? Because I am reaping what I have sown. I was a pompous Christian, serving the church with my all, doing all the right things as I fought for title, position, prestige, popularity and worked so hard at doing Christianity.

I am so thankful for seasons of life. I am thankful Lord God for how YOU "Grow Us Through" life in various seasons, using each one purposefully for Your Kingdom Glory. I am thankful that the Christian Life is never boring. You, Father God are always making things new, always changing the seasons of our lives, always making us better, finishing us according to YOUR design. Grateful for the seasons of my life today! Luke 10:18-20 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Returning from their 'mission' trip, the 72 disciples of Yeshua (Jesus) were filled with joy. "Even the devils are subject to us through your name", they exulted. Yeshua responded that He saw Satan fall like lightening from Heaven and that He had given them authority to trample snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy.

The nature of the enemy is to fall. His destiny and his eternal condition is Fallen. Thus, Satan and his demons want to pull us down with them. Their schemes are subtle, as they watch carefully for opportunities, when our own evil desires rise up in us; [James 1:14]. However they can do it, these evil spirits will seek to drag us down into the miserable fallen condition they are in. In every temptation the enemy is present seeking to pull you down with him. But our calling and destiny is not to fall, it is to rise. Our identity and our authority as the children of God is with the resurrected Messiah. And it's His resurrection life and power that gives us authority over demons and victory over sin – to rise above temptation through a life of spirit-empowered obedience. "For He has rescued us from darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves", [Col 1:13]

Kimberly, You are no longer under the power of fallen angels, but in the power of a risen God. Rise above temptation. Exercise your authority to tread upon the powers of darkness in your own life, and be led by His Holy Spirit, even to deliver others from their power as well. Exercising the authority of our risen Lord over evil is one of our great living testimonies to His goodness and salvation!

2012! Great awe-God followship Adventure!

On Wednesdays I specifically pray for the lost. I have a "Most Wanted List", of people God has specifically put in my path that need HIM. I pray for them, then I pray for my city, our nation and this world. I feel the heart of God for those who are lost from HIM, the passion He has for them to know HIM, to be in relationship with HIS life and to be forever saved, to live for HIM forever. This passion was acted out in the most incredible way, all for us! The Father God sent HIS Son, Jesus to die for our sins, to bridge the sin divide between us. Oh What A Love! Jesus came here to us, took on the human flesh, became our salvation sent from heaven. Jesus, the King of heaven died for us. I can't take that in. What a love! I can't wrap my mind around it. All I can do is pray, testify and hope huge that others receive this great gift, this eternal salvation that our AWE-GOD so desperately wants for us. We were designed for eternity, it is written on our hearts, planted in there by God. I pray we become so openhearted to our God. I pray that everyone everywhere opens their hearts to God, receives what He sacrificially gave us with such great, great love, a love like no other. Open Up Your Heart! Let God In!

A Seasoned Servant Of God Has Encouraged Me Today

Dear Bob and Kim,

The first photo, taken on a previous trip to Israel, is a set up . But it symbolizes my love to the land of Israel. This is taken on top of Masada, the Israeli Alamo, overlooking the Judean desert and Dead Sea. Let us all raise our hands to Adonai, the LORD, and bless Israel. Do that for the LORD, and He will bless you abundantly.

The second photo is of a group of Orthodox Jews praying over the grave of a relative or teacher on the side of the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. It's called a Yartzite, or anniversary of the death of someone. Someone who, probably, did not recognize Yeshua of Nazareth as the Messiah. I looked at this scene with wonder and conviction. How can we sit here and not grieve that our OWN loved ones in the grave, did not know Yeshua as Messiah?

11 "What have you done to me?" Balak asked Balaam. "I brought you to curse my enemies, but look, you have only blessed [them]!" 12 He answered, "Shouldn't I say exactly what the Lord puts in my mouth?"

Bob and Kim, you know that man's ways are not God's ways. I don't consider myself a 'fire and brimstone' preacher or one who uses the pulpit to bully people. However, over the few years that I have been preaching the gospel, I have had some criticism. Not often, but I have been told things like "I don't think my son is quite ready for you yet", or "be careful preacher, we don't want to scare them off". Friends, how many have left this world and gone to hell because we were afraid to tell the truth; afraid of hurting someone's feelings?

We have been given the TRUTH through the Word of God to win the lost and make disciples. Are we so afraid of falling out of favor with people that we sacrifice souls to the devil?

"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." James 5:16

Hurt cannot be avoided this side of heaven. This is an unfortunate outcome from outside forces; self-absorbed family members, insensitive friends, and self-inflicted wounds. The deepest harm comes from those who should love well, but because of their own unresolved hurt, are emotionally injurious. For example, instead of spouses meeting a very real need to love and respect their wife or husband, they tear down with cutting words. They may withhold affection, while tempting their marriage partner to find affection elsewhere. Sarcasm scars, rejection injures, anger crushes confidence, and dishonesty destroys trust.

How do we handle deep hurts that have compounded in crazy cycles over many years? Where do we go when the hurt is so unbearable that we stay scared, implode in anger, and grow a root of bitterness? Fortunately, there is a very real hope for healing found in our loving Heavenly Father and His caring children. Healing doesn't happen by accident, but begins with an intentional acknowledgment of the need for wholeness by God's grace.

Proverbs 16:24"Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones."

By faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are a precious child of God. He died for you. You are loved by the Lord and by His loving disciples. Confess to Christ your desperate need for His love and forgiveness. Linger long in the accepting arms of Jesus and let Him love you. You are not alone. He was rejected, so you could be accepted. He served, so you could serve and be served. He died, so you could live. His grace heals.

Furthermore, listen to the gracious words of others who love the Lord. What they say is sincere and true. Reject the lies of the devil and his followers, but embrace the healing truth of trusted friends and counselors. Emotions can betray, but truth keeps you from straying. Confess your sins to Christ and a few confidantes and forgive those who have brought you shameful hurt. Like a deep wound to the flesh, healing takes time, the pain does not go away immediately, the scab is messy, but the scar is a badge of God's grace.

"Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard." Isaiah 58:8

Prayer: Heavenly Father bring healing to my wounded heart, and teach me to forgive.

7 Thoughts on Church Discipline

I am frequently asked about my thoughts on church discipline. I've learned that most of the time, when someone asks, they have a personal agenda they are attempting to address, far more than they have a concern for Biblical accuracy.

They may know someone who committed a specific sin they feel warrants discipline. Sometimes they were injured by someone and want to make sure the person is properly disciplined. They may even want to be a part of the "prayer" process…and they want details…so they can pray (and gossip) appropriately.

If it sounds like I have an angst against church discipline…maybe I do. It's not that I'm against it. I do believe there is a place for church discipline. How can I not? The Bible addresses it. It's just that most of the time when I've seen it spoken of it seems more like retribution than something Biblical. I'm against that! I think punishment was nailed to a cross.

◦Should we being doing more church discipline? Yes

◦Should we do it better? Yes

My bigger question would be as to the purpose of church discipline.

I'm a simple minded guy though. I'm not deep. I need thoughts I can wrap my mind around. So, I'm not attempting to give a scholarly reply to the subject, but simply add some of my thoughts. For some of them I give a general reference and for others it's simply a thought, though each of them is based on my interpretation of Scripture as a whole and my view of God and His plan for mankind. I have often thought in terms of my role as an earthly father attempting to parent my children when I think of how God must think in terms of parenting me. Obviously He's the perfect parent, but even Jesus alluded to the role of an earthly father in relation to our Heavenly Father. (Luke 11:9-12)

Here are 7 simple thoughts on Church Discipline:

Grace is primary in healthy discipline, not secondary. Throughout Scripture, God approached people with grace and unconditional love. Discipline should never be done in anger, but always in a redemptive way. (Romans 5:20)

The best discipline you will never know about. (Read Matthew 18) If discipline is handled correctly, the person is approached by someone, usually someone close to them, they repent and you move forward. In most cases, no one else needs to know at this point.

Discipline is part of the process of discipleship, not a side product. Healthy discipline is a part of helping others be more like Christ. You know of areas of sin in a person's life, so you confront them in love, helping them grow and improve. (Proverbs 1:1-3; 6:23)

Discipline is done in an effort to restore, not to punish. Jesus took the punishment for our sins. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Proverbs 10:17; Romans 5:8)

It's not limited to select sins. If you are doing disciplines as a part of discipleship, then you address known sins…period. It could be gossip…may even be gluttony or greed. (Matthew 5:21-28)

The only people doing church discipline perfectly are the perfect churches. They do discipleship perfectly, also. In fact, they're pretty much perfect. (Or think they are. )

It rarely involves people having to leave the church. I honestly think that's what some people feel is the key objective. I don't see it that way. I see it more restorative than dismissive. (Philemon)

I realize scholars can pick this apart. I welcome your input and healthy correction. Just do it in love please. I think that's Biblical too!

What are your thoughts on church discipline?

Church discipline! Ouch! It hurts! Even after 25 years later it still hurts! We had a youth pastor fall into sin with a youth leader. Both families destroyed. Our Senior pastor was angry, rightfully so, he discipled this pastor, but he took that anger and before the whole church disciplined that youth pastor, banned him from the fellowship. We lost over 50 youth and their families that day, we all loved our youth pastor, we grieved like no other, it still hurts because there was never reconciliation. Our next youth meeting we started over with 10 youth.

It reminds me of that movie called First Knight! Where the King of Camelot got angry because he caught the queen and his 1^st Knight kissing, so he called for an open tribunal which made the city vulnerable as he opened the city gates and the enemy was able to come in and take them hostage. The king realized what he had done but it was too late and he lost his life because of it. The people fought for Camelot and it survived. We also fought to be called to God 1^st and for our youth and they survived and three years later we had a youth group 350 strong in discipleship and Jesus! But it still hurts and that pain still shapes me in Godliness, in learning how to make the right biblical decision, my 1^st choice the right choice because the way you do things is the consequence you live with.

The question that comes to mind is it a "reaction" or a "response" Reaction usually is from our human condition and it is impulsive. Response is usually where you have taken time and worked out your anger. You are angry but you don't sin. If there is already a sin present and you react in anger, that is usually a double dipping consequence. Not fun!

Wasn't Sunday awesome! The worship was so good! The message was eye-opening for me? What about you? I have a lot to learn. I need to be more equipped in this topic. I just took it all in and realized, the TRUTH we heard Sunday from Sean McDowell, really shot down all that I had heard from the opposing view of evolution. My one question now is why is it in the schools, why just the one point of view? Why not both? Why not the truth? That bothers me. The tension between self promotion and effectiveness in ministry is huge.

As a pastor, I am conscious of appearing to build a platform for my own self interests. Being online as much as I am is a struggle for those who don't understand my Kingdom purpose. Of course, some are looking to criticize any pastor who uses non-traditional methods. My online presence makes me even more prone to attract critics. I have to not only be careful what I say, but the way I say it. For example, if I use the term "my church" I get criticized by some who gently (sometimes not so gently) remind me that it's not my church, but Jesus' church.

Okay, okay, I hear you, but regardless of the methods we use, God has given us responsibility in Kingdom-building; in disciple-making. I personally recognize the opportunities we now have to use our influence in social media to advance the cause of Christ online. I've been doing online ministry for over 15 years, and as with anything I do, I want to do it to the best of my ability. Scripture is clear that whatever we do, we should do it to the glory of God. Being effective online means I need to build a platform from which to leverage that online influence to the highest potential. Therein also lies the tension.

I am so compelled to be online by God. I sense it is an open door for a season for all of us and we need to step through it when He asks. I also struggle with doing my best, I want to more than ever, be a bright light online for God, but it is such an unchartered way and I have made mistakes and grown from them. I created a website and God has blessed it tremendously, more than I could ever have hoped for or imagined and now I have finished my 1st book, so I am right where I so needed this wisdom. You Can't Out-Give God By Joyce Meyer

Some put money or the world's system of commerce before God. But the Bible states in Revelation 18 that if we put our trust in money, it's going to fail. I've found that the way to deal with money, instead of struggling with it, is to try and out-give God...because we can't.

The more we give away, the more we'll receive. The more we obey Him with our finances, the more He blesses us. The more we do for other people, the more God has other people do for us.

Society tells us to invest everything in the world's system and work all the time to make more money. But if we do, we'll really never have anything that matters, especially joy. And we won't be able to enjoy the money we have because we won't be using it God's way.

It may not make sense according to the world's system, but God doesn't want you to simply make money and hoard it away. God says that by giving it away, you will have more in the end. I challenge you to increase your generosity today. Trust me, you can't out-give God.

Prayer Starter: God, Your plan for my finances isn't like the world's, but I know that when I give the way You tell me to, You will take care of me. My money is Yours and I will use it as You see fit.

That is so true! I do believe we all have to guard against hoarding because the generation we are living through is experiencing great financial downward spirals. When we get nervous about the things we are seeing, we tend to hoard. I know I did. I even rationalized that I should not tithe, how stupid is that! I truly have seen it and believe it that the more we give more God blesses. It is so true, I have experienced it.
