Psalm 89: 19-22

Once You spoke in a vision to Your devoted ones and said, I have endowed one who is mighty [a hero, giving him the power to help--to be a champion for Israel]; I have exalted one chosen from among the people.20 I have found David My servant; with My holy oil have I anointed him, 21 With whom My hand shall be established and ever abide; My arm also shall strengthen him.22 The enemy shall not exact from him or do him violence or outwit him, nor shall the wicked afflict and humble him.

Developing My AWE-GOD With An Attitude Of Gratitude!

2012 AWE-GOD Gratefulness! I am so grateful today for the Sovereign Will of God, which is His Good Purpose to "grow me" through my current life season. I am thankful for the purposes of God in play in my life. I am grateful for every challenge He Sovereignty puts in my life path, with great preconceived and purposely designed Kingdom growth for me. Thank you Lord God, that everything in my life has your Master Touch of Kingdom Purpose on it. I am so grateful with every challenge there is Kingdom Purpose and with every "Divine Appointment" in this Sovereign season of my life, there is always Infinite Love that is present and active as I grow in Kingdom Purpose through the Sovereignty of my AWE-GOD!

Lord it is evident that Your Great Favor is lifting off the United States Of America. It is also evident that we don't deserve it as we continue to make decisions that are blatantly against Your Will, Your Way, Your Truth and Your Life. Please forgive us Lord Jesus, we are so sorry and we will do everything we can to fight for Your Truth, Your Way and Your Life to prevail. We will stand up for Your Truth when we vote in November 2012. This is all we can do and we will do it humbly and courageously as we STAND for you!

My heart just breaks for this country. I can imagine how God feels, can truly feel His heart. His purposes will be in play, He will win back this nation, the road to repentance will be difficulty and challenging for us all, but in the midst of the challenge there will be great God purpose in play and we have to constantly remind each other, we don't belong here, we do have a future and a hope! AWE-GOD!

We are truly moving into an era where it will feel like our faith is being crucified! The Power of the Cross of Jesus Christ will prevail and the chains will fall! Infinitely So!

I may change the question I ask some people. Usually we're thinking, "Do you know Jesus?" What if I ask, "Does Jesus know the real you?" How will that go over?

I think that is a great question! Don't you all think it cuts right through the "cultural religion presupposition" straight to relationship?

A good example is: People "culturally" think that if you are making "Godly" choices that you are "religious". They equate your "followship" of Jesus with religion, not relationship. Like… I don't usually go to "R" rated movies, because I feel the need to guard my heart from some things. People look at that and in our culture would say I am "religious", but truly I don't do that because of religion, I do it because of "relationship". It is something between God and me, something He has asked of me. He knows me and He knows R rated movies take my heart in places where I can't guard it.

I think that the culture we live in see's God as "religious" not "relational". Do you think that?

So yes Steve, this is a really good way to serve up our culture what they truly need "a relationship with Jesus" … not religion.

A Seasoned Servant Of God Has Encouraged Me Today

Anne Graham Lotz- Attracted to Weakness

It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God.

1 Corinthians 1:30, NIV

Who do you say you can't witness to because he or she is an intellectual, or highly educated, and you are not? Or maybe the person has a seminary degree and you have just started going to church. Remember, it was Joseph, a Hebrew teenager and slave, not the wise men of Egypt, who interpreted Pharaoh's dreams. It was another Hebrew slave, Daniel, not the wise men of Babylon, who deciphered the mysterious writing on the wall of Belshazzar's palace. It was the unlettered fishermen, not the Scribes and the Pharisees, who were taken into the confidence of Christ and used of God to build His church.

Do you feel inadequate intellectually, educationally, socially, theologically? Good! God can use you! He states clearly that He "chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things - and the things that are not - to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him" (1 Cor. 1:27-28, NIV). God is attracted to your weakness!

With whom My hand shall be established and ever abide; My arm also shall strengthen him. 22 The enemy shall not exact from him or do him violence or outwit him, nor shall the wicked afflict and humble him. 23 I will beat down his foes before his face and smite those who hate him. 24 My faithfulness and My mercy and loving-kindness shall be with him, and in My name shall his horn be exalted [great power and prosperity shall be conferred upon him]

Developing My AWE-GOD With An Attitude Of Gratitude!

Oh Lord, I am so thankful today for your faithfulness to me. I don't deserve it. I want with all my heart, to be faithful to YOU, in that ALL-IN kind of way YOU always are and have been to me. I feel discouraged when I stumble over my emotions and fall into inconsistency. Thank you for not giving up on me. Your constancy of being for me, with me and working in me, never waivers, even when I don't deserve it! I am so grateful for that constant-consistent faithfulness that YOU show me as you continue to shape me and mold me. I desire to have that moment to right choice 1st kind of faithfulness! Your faithfulness to me, it makes my heart desire burst with hope that I will one day be like YOU, being a consistent mirror image of Your faithfulness. I am grateful to read the Bible and see your faithfulness to the Father God, in every situation You faced, because it gives me a model to hope after! Thank you Jesus! I am so grateful to YOU, AWE-GOD!

Important Wisdom For Living Out Our Christian Life Found In The Bible

Basic-Instructions-Before-Leaving-Earth

Psalm 89

1 I WILL sing of the mercy and loving-kindness of the Lord forever; with my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness from generation to generation.2 For I have said, Mercy and loving-kindness shall be built up forever; Your faithfulness will You establish in the very heavens [unchangeable and perpetual].3 [You have said] I have made a covenant with My chosen one, I have sworn to David My servant,4 Your Seed I will establish forever, and I will build up your throne for all generations. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

5 Let heaven (the angels) praise Your wonders, O Lord, Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones (the holy angels).6 For who in the heavens can be compared to the Lord? Who among the mighty [heavenly beings] can be likened to the Lord,7 A God greatly feared and revered in the council of the holy (angelic) ones, and to be feared and worshipfully revered above all those who are round about Him?8 O Lord God of hosts, who is a mighty one like unto You, O Lord? And Your faithfulness is round about You [an essential part of You at all times].9 You rule the raging of the sea; when its waves arise, You still them.10 You have broken Rahab (Egypt) in pieces; with Your mighty arm You have scattered Your enemies.11 The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; the world and all that is in it, You have founded them.12 The north and the south, You have created them; Mount Tabor and Mount Hermon joyously praise Your name.13 You have a mighty arm; strong is Your hand, Your right hand is soaring high.

14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and loving-kindness and truth go before Your face.15 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are the people who know the joyful sound [who understand and appreciate the spiritual blessings symbolized by the feasts]; they walk, O Lord, in the light and favor of Your countenance!16 In Your name they rejoice all the day, and in Your righteousness they are exalted.17 For You are the glory of their strength [their proud adornment], and by Your favor our horn is exalted and we walk with uplifted faces!18 For our shield belongs to the Lord, and our king to the Holy One of Israel.19 Once You spoke in a vision to Your devoted ones and said, I have endowed one who is mighty [a hero, giving him the power to help--to be a champion for Israel]; I have exalted one chosen from among the people.20 I have found David My servant; with My holy oil have I anointed him, 21 With whom My hand shall be established and ever abide; My arm also shall strengthen him.22 The enemy shall not exact from him or do him violence or outwit him, nor shall the wicked afflict and humble him.

23 I will beat down his foes before his face and smite those who hate him.24 My faithfulness and My mercy and loving-kindness shall be with him, and in My name shall his horn be exalted [great power and prosperity shall be conferred upon him].25 I will set his hand in control also on the [Mediterranean] Sea, and his right hand on the rivers [Euphrates with its tributaries].26 He shall cry to Me, You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation!27 Also I will make him the firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth. 28 My mercy and loving-kindness will I keep for him forevermore, and My covenant shall stand fast and be faithful with him.29 His Offspring also will I make to endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven. 30 If his children forsake My law and walk not in My ordinances,31 If they break or profane My statutes and keep not My commandments,32 Then will I punish their transgression with the rod [of chastisement], and their iniquity with stripes. 33 Nevertheless, My loving-kindness will I not break off from him, nor allow My faithfulness to fail [to lie and be false to him]. 34 My covenant will I not break or profane, nor alter the thing that is gone out of My lips. 35 Once [for all] have I sworn by My holiness, which cannot be violated; I will not lie to David:36 His Offspring shall endure forever, and his throne [shall continue] as the sun before Me. 37 It shall be established forever as the moon, the faithful witness in the heavens. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! (Amplified Bible)

Worthy News Brief @worthyemail.com

Kimberly, give a good word!
Proverbs 12:25 Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad.
A friend writes: "My father did some pretty nasty things to me. But at the end of his life, as I kneeled by his bedside, I told him how thankful I was for every good thing he had done and every way he had blessed me, and there were many. We were good friends when he passed away." One of the greatest regrets you can avoid at the end of your life is the failure to praise others when they deserved it, (and even when they didn't).
But why is it that affirming words are so pitifully rare in our conversations, especially when so many many people are anxious, discouraged, and depressed by all the negativity in this life? We're living in a world that's constantly knocking us down, from cradle to grave. Is it any wonder that anxiety and depression are rampant at every age level?
But notice the advice that Solomon gives – a good word makes the heart glad. We should take this to heart. A compliment or blessing can be one of the greatest motivators, and can be truly life changing. And every one of us needs this kind of encouragement to run the race of this life.
Kimberly, let's be people of encouragement, looking for the word which will lift another person up and bring healing and hope to her soul. A good word will also do wonders for our own hearts.

You're No Surprise to God

Do you ever feel like God is disappointed with you? I used to feel this way until one day He said, "You know, Joyce, you're no surprise to Me. I knew what I was getting when I got you."

Think about it! God knows the end from the beginning, and all the days of our life are written in His book. Every decision we're ever going to make, good or bad, God already knew them before we ever showed up on planet earth. He already knows today every word in our mouth that is still unuttered, even what we're going to say a year from now.

Sometimes we go around thinking that God is so disappointed with us all the time. It's true that we make mistakes. And we're not supposed to be lighthearted about them, we need to take them seriously. But in spite of our mistakes, God has hope for us and knows that He can change us if we'll stay close to Him.

God's not disappointed. He's full of hope where we're concerned! He believes in us more than we do ourselves.

Prayer Starter: Lord, Your hope for me is so encouraging and inspiring. Even when I don't believe in myself, I know that You do, and that gives me the strength to overcome my mistakes and follow You.

My Thoughts About This = Miraculous Musings! J

I don't believe in myself at all. I am not faithful like HE is. I want to be, but my human condition keeps me on a roller coaster ride of sorts. Mostly my emotions are what I struggle with, they mess with me being constantly-consistently faithful to God in the all of my everything. Completely is what I hope for, being ALL-IN is my relational pursuit. My whole heart wants it. That is why when I do fall prey to these stupid emotions of mine, I pick myself right back up, and head for the goal again to be ALL-In. I know one day I will get there not because of me but because God is faithful.

Psalm 43

1 JUDGE and vindicate me, O God; plead and defend my cause against an ungodly nation. O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!2 For You are the God of my strength [my Stronghold--in Whom I take refuge]; why have You cast me off? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?3 O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your dwelling.4 Then will I go to the altar of God, to God, my exceeding joy; yes, with the lyre will I praise You, O God, my God!5 Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, Who is the help of my [sad] countenance, and my God.

In All Situations, With Everyone And Everywhere God is my vindicator

Vindicator: Justifier; Maintainer Of Truth; Prover Of His Word; Defender; Correct With His Justice; Assert Truth; Supporter Of Justice; Claim Maker;

God is the defender of HIS calling

God is our vindicator and will deliver us from all deceit and deceitful people

Anything unjust will not stand- God will make it right. God is JUSTICE

My strength is found in God and no where else will if find it. Cling to God= Cling To Strength

Joyce Meyer: Promises for Your Everyday Life - a Daily Devotional

James 1:4 But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.

When you and I say to God, "Change me," we better know what we're saying because we are not just going to wake up different the next morning. Instead, what God is going to do is give us an opportunity, through opposition, to grow as we change.

James 1 tells us how important it is to have patience when we're changing and facing opposition. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit that only develops and grows under trial, and it's something we need. Scripture tells us that when we have it, we're perfect and entire, lacking nothing. However, there's just no way to get it without going through something to receive it.

If we really want to be victorious Christians who serve God and make a difference in the world, then we are going to have to go through some challenging things. The devil will try to scare you off, but God can see you through any challenge.

So today, choose to let God work through you, even in the face of opposition. As your patience grows and develops, you will step into a life of great victory.

Prayer Starter: Lord, I want You to change me, and I know that means I'll have to go through challenges. Give me Your strength to endure and be steadfast when I'm going through trials so I can have patience and be fully developed in Christ.

My Thoughts About This = Miraculous Musings! J

I really do believe that Jesus, with all my heart. I can see now, where I could not see before that in every great challenge, Your God purpose is greater still. Every time I face a challenge, I now look more for the God purpose in it than I focus on the challenge of it. You use everything in our lives to grow us in Kingdom things. Everything that You allow to touch our lives has great God Purpose. We are never without Your Purpose being dealt by the hand of Your Sovereign Will.

The God of All Comfort

A Seasoned Servant Of God Has Encouraged Me Today

Anne Graham Lotz

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ . . . who comforts us in all our tribulation.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4, NKJV

Medical studies have proven that worry attacks the central nervous system, the circulatory system, and the digestive system of our bodies. Charles Mayo, of the Mayo Clinic, said, "You can worry yourself to death, but you cannot worry yourself to a longer life."

Noah was exposed to such frightening experiences he could have worried himself to death; after all, he survived the equivalent of a nuclear holocaust. While Sunday school stories conjure up in our minds the picture of Noah as a quaint, folksy, old zookeeper with a plump, rosy-cheeked wife, he was in fact a very strong, courageous man of character and faith who could have been tremendously traumatized by the most violent catastrophe in history. Surely Noah knew the paralysis of fear and the total paranoia of worry. But he also knew by experience that the God of the storm is also the God of all comfort, able to calm his fears as he kept his faith in God and his focus on God.

Blessings, Anne Graham Lotz AnGeL Ministries Website

My Thoughts About This = Miraculous Musings! J

Emotions…….Urrrrrrgggggggggg! I think they are the paralysis! Fear is the motivator, but emotions paralyze us, distract us, detract us in so many ways. I say us, but I mean me. If anyone should have been paralyzed by fear it was Noah. God drowned the whole earth… can you imagine that. I get fearful in a thunderstorm when it is bad! I just feel like I need to get it together. Times are looking rough, it may not go as our kind of well for us in the future, but we do have a great future and hope. I need to learn not to let my emotions distract me from God's purposes in play and the great future I do have. I need to settle it in my soul, God's Got This!!

Choose Your Battles

"Whoever corrects a mocker invites insult; whoever rebukes a wicked man incurs abuse" (Proverbs 9:7).

We all have a limited amount of time and energy. Wisdom says to spend them both on productive people, not destructive ones. Verbal sparring with a proud person only invites insult. It is better to ignore their venomous venting than try to reason with them. Do your best, stay focused on the task, and trust your reputation with the giver of reputations—your Savior Jesus.

Mockers look to stir things up in the moment. They have no long-term solutions, so avoid their cynical, crazy cycle. A mocker's mind is already made up; he will not change regardless of wise rationale. There are those who return evil for good so do not go there or you may end up in despair. Jesus says the caustic cynic is full of pride.

"Let them alone; they are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit" (Matthew 15:14 NASB).

What about a family member who seems to be hurtling down a path of destruction? Specifically, you may have a teenager or adult child whose entire focus is friends and freedom. They seem to have rejected all common sense and Christ-like influence. First and foremost, focus on their heart with love and acceptance. If you battle over the external, it will be messy and costly. However, if they change from the inside out, the transformation will be beautiful and enduring.

Ask them to pray, asking the Lord what He thinks about their decisions and choice of friends. Direct them back to Scripture as their Savior's standard for living. Above all, pursue a peaceful and patient attitude in prayer. Our most significant battles are spiritual; they are won or lost on our knees. The Holy Spirit will lead you when to speak, what to say, and when to remain silent. Everyone wins when you value the relationship over winning the argument.

"Do not rebuke a mocker or he will hate you; rebuke a wise man and he will love you" (Proverbs 9:8).

Prayer: What relationship do I need to quit striving over and give to the Lord?

Graced Again! leadership wisdom from Ron edmondston

http://www.ronedmondson.com/2012/06/most-dangerous-leadership-traits.html

There are no perfect leaders…except for Jesus. For the rest of us, we each have room for improvement. Most of us live with flaws in our leadership. Good leaders learn to surround themselves with people who can supplement their weaknesses.

There are, however, some leadership traits, which a leader can never delegate away. If the leader can't work through them, in my opinion, his or her leadership will be crippled. With these traits, the best the leader has to offer will never fully materialize.

These leadership traits will eventually wreck a leader's success.

Here are 8 dangerous leadership traits:

Immoral character – If the leader's character is flawed, the leadership will be flawed. A leader can never escape the quality of his or her heart.

Assuming everyone's support – Leaders seldom hear the complete story unless they pursue it. Environments have to be created that produce transparency and honesty. Even in the healthiest organizations there will always be things a leader doesn't know.

Assuming everyone understands – In my experience, most leaders think they are communicating effectively. What's clear to them they assume is clear to others. It's usually not as clear as the leader thinks. Good leaders ask lots of questions to identify the level of clarity.

Continually avoiding conflict – Conflict never, ever, ever, goes away. Ever. Unresolved conflict damages the strength and integrity of organizational health. It may get ignored, overlooked, or stifled, but until conflict is dealt with it continues to stir strife in an organization.

Pretending to have all the answers – The less a leader listens to others, the less willing others will desire to help the leader succeed. Arrogant leaders never attract the best from people. Great leaders invite input, knowing that with more people involved, decisions will be stronger and more buy-in will be achieved.

Allowing friendship to derail progress - Great leaders value relationships and recognize friendships with others as an important part of their personal well-being. At the same time, some leaders fail to separate their friendships from their callings as leaders. They confuse loyalty as a friend from their responsibility as a leader. A leader cannot allow personal friendships to negatively alter the course to success.

Refusing to let go of control – When the leader doesn't delegate, he or she stifles the growth of the organization. Healthy delegation involves releasing authority over a project. If a leader continually maintains the right to control, the organization will be limited to his or her abilities, rather than the strength of the team.

Living in the past – Unless you're a teacher of history, the leader's primary focus needs to be on the future. Leadership is about moving things forward. That requires progressive thinking, welcoming change, and refusing to let past failures determine future success.

Be honest, of which of these are you most guilty? As difficult as it may be, until you push through them and improve in that area, you'll never experience the leadership success you desire.

What leadership trait would you add that must be overcome?

My Thoughts About This = Miraculous Musings! J

1st I wanted to say thank you! I am really learning and growing from these blog posts and I am grateful. 2nd is the leadership trait you need to overcome. Not stopping to celebrate and be grateful. We plan everything into our vision and our goals, except celebration. We evaluate which leans toward the negative but we don't take time to celebrate the positive of what God did. We move too quickly to the "next big thing"! If you notice in the bible, God always bookends each season. He leads the way with worship and He bookends the season with Praise-Celebration. The lack of celebration dumbs down the development of our AWE of God as leaders, which I believe a lot of GOD-gifts flow out of AWE! We miss out when we don't celebrate as leaders!

The one I need to work on the most is conflict… I hate conflict… I avoid it like a plague, yet it still infects my leadership as I saw in your God wisdom today… what goes around comes around until you break the circle… Oh Lord… help me grow in this!
