Constant Conversation With God 7/14

Make My Life A Constant Conversation With You!

Today, It is my, Kimberly Ann McCarthy, passion that He, Jesus Christ must increase in me by having His Way in Me and I must decrease by yielding my earthly expectations to Him and submitting to His Heavenly Plan for my life. (Psalm 62)

Isaiah 51:14-15 Message Bible

For I am God, your very own God, who stirs up the sea and whips up the waves, named God-of-the-Angel-Armies. I teach you how to talk, word by word, and personally watch over you, Even while I'm unfurling the skies, setting earth on solid foundations, and greeting Zion: 'Welcome, my people!'"

*My Prayer-HIS-THOUGHTS: KimberlyMac Shining 4-Him-Always-4Ever!*

Thanks for your ministry! I really needed that encouragement today. Life can really throw some hard punches, BUT GOD... He knows my name-He knows my every thought- He is with me in my all and everything... I am dancing in the rain today because You cared enough to encourage me to do so!

A Seasoned Servant Of God Has Encouraged Me Today

Thanks Pastor Elliott For Sending Me This Devotional:

1 Corinthians 3:9-15

For we are both God's workers. And you are God's field. You are God's building.10 Because of God's grace to me, I have laid the foundation like an expert builder. Now others are building on it. But whoever is building on this foundation must be very careful.11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have—Jesus Christ. 12 Anyone who builds on that foundation may use a variety of materials—gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw. 13 But on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person's work has any value.

14 If the work survives, that builder will receive a reward. 15 But if the work is burned up, the builder will suffer great loss. The builder will be saved, but like someone barely escaping through a wall of flames.

Written By Pastor Elliott:

I must confess that many of my works would not stand the Test. The 'Test' Paul is speaking about is the Judgment Seat of Christ where all the works of the believers will be tested. The more I grow in my relationship with Jesus Christ, my motives, my words, my attitude and my spirit are scrutinized and exposed. As I deal with confrontation, I have to ask myself some questions to prepare for the Test. I encourage you to ask yourself the same questions:

1. Are my motives pure? Whether it be preparing a sermon, making a visit to a shut-in, or any other work of the ministry. Am I led by the Spirit or the flesh? Am I doing this to please men or God?

2. How am I choosing my words when I minister or just speaking in casual conversation? The cost of poorly chosen words can take a long time and a lot of prayer to recover what is lost in one statement. Poorly chosen words can cost friendships and harm our credibility as witnesses for Jesus Christ.

3. My attitude is a direct and outward evidence of whether I am submitted to my flesh or the Holy Spirit.

4. That 'new creation' who was born of incorruptible seed that day I received Jesus Christ as LORD, will always, always, always, point people to Jesus Christ. The Spirit will always build on the FOUNDATION that is TRUE and WORTHY. Am I yielded to the right SPIRIT? The great deceiver can lay many traps that look very religious that bring no glory to God. Let us scrutinize and discern the true path that leads people to Jesus Christ.

It comes down to this, my friends. Simply put, "It's all about Jesus Christ". He and He alone will be the final judge of your and my works. No other person, church leader, denominational president, committee, or authority will be sitting beside Him on that day.

*My Prayer-HIS-THOUGHTS: KimberlyMac Shining 4-Him- Glowing His Glory-Always-4Ever!*

AWE-GOD!! One question really popped out at me today: Am I yielded to the right spirit and it is so convicting when I think that my attitudes were crappy yesterday because something I planned fell through and my car did not start and I yielded to the thief who stole my joy! hmmmmmm thanks for the truth this morning, it corrects my internal compass and makes my way straight today! Yeah God! Hope your day is blessed! Enjoy!

The thief stole my plan, so will I yield to him today? My car did not start. Will I yield to him today? Attitude Check! What spirit am I yielded to today? AWE-HOLY SPIRIT.

Big Time word, "Faithful". Faith is believing that an unseen God is big enough to know everything about you, to care intimately for you, and to provide for all your needs. Being "faithful" is living like you believe in that definition of faith. It's easy to be faithful when everything is going well. Its a lot tougher to be faithful when you live with difficult times. Have faith and trust that God will be Faithful.

*My Prayer-HIS-THOUGHTS: KimberlyMac Shining 4-Him-Always-4Ever!*

Ouch! I needed that today! It is so true! My plans hit rock bottom right when I thought everything was going good and then I go out to start my car and it is dead. It seems like when it rains it pours, but I am learning to dance in the rain! Thanks for your encouragement today. It was a good attitude adjustment! I know what spirit I am yielded to right now! The Holy Spirit! What spirit are you yielded to? Attitude Check!!

What are you afraid of? Let God act. Abandon yourself to Him. You will suffer, but you will suffer with love, peace and consolation. You will fight, but you can carry off the victory, and God Himself, after having fought with you, will crown you with His own hand. You will weep, but your tears will be sweet, and God Himself will come with satisfaction to dry them. You will not be free any longer to give yourself up to your tyrannic passions, but you will sacrifice your liberty freely, and you will enter into a new liberty unknown to the world, in which you will do nothing except for love.

Francois Fenelon

Joy is not the absence of suffering. It is the presence of God. By Robert Schuller

What should we set as our ultimate goal in this life? The answer: the most perfect worshipers of God we can possibly be.... I sought no more than how to be God's and God's alone. My goal made me resolve to give my all for the All.... Always I worshiped Him as often as I could, keeping my mind in His holy presence. When I wandered I brought Him back to my mind.... At all times, every hour, every minute, even at the busiest times. I drove away from my mind everything capable of spoiling the sense of the presence of God.... I just make it my business to persevere in His holy presence... My soul has had an habitual, silent, secret conversation with God.

Quote By: Brother Lawrence

One way to recollect the mind easily in the time of prayer, and preserve it more in tranquillity, is not to let it wander too far at other times. You should keep it strictly in the presence of God; and being accustomed to think of Him often, you will find it easy to keep your mind calm in the time of prayer, or at least to recall it from its wanderings.

Psalm 34: 1-9

I bless God every chance I get; my lungs expand with his praise. 2 I live and breathe God; if things aren't going well, hear this and be happy: 3 Join me in spreading the news; together let's get the word out. 4 God met me more than halfway, he freed me from my anxious fears. 5 Look at him; give him your warmest smile. Never hide your feelings from him. 6 When I was desperate, I called out, and God got me out of a tight spot. 7 God's angel sets up a circle of protection around us while we pray.

8 Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see— how good God is. Blessed are you who run to him. 9 Worship God if you want the best; worship opens doors to all his goodness.

*My Prayer-HIS-THOUGHTS: KimberlyMac Shining 4-Him-Always-4Ever!*

I was thinking about anxiety and how sometimes it really attacks me with paralyzed fear. I realized this is a way out of my anxiety attacks. How:

1st Expand my lungs with praise.

2nd Breathe in His Presence, exhale my fear

3rd Reach out of the anxiety towards God and He will meet me

4th Activate The Promises, Spread Them In My Mind And He Will Free Me With Them. Exchange the lies for the promise

5th Call out to God, Speak The Name Of Jesus. There Is Freedom In The Name Of Jesus.

6th Begin praying and asking God for help to get free of the anxiety because in this, God encircles me with warring angels to protect my vulnerable state.

7th Don't close up my stance open up my body to God, open up my soul, my heart and mind completely to God.

8th Wait on Him, knowing that because I turned to outward to Him and not inward to the fear, that His Blessing is soon to come.

9th Wait in worship and expect freedom! Begin worshipping Him, speaking worship from my lips to His heart. Praise Him. There is freedom and power in praise and I must tap into it.
