Lord, I am really struggling today. I felt like I was pursuing a direction that was Yours in the prison ministry. Then I missed the training because of Chris's surgery and when I got back I contacted them for the May revival and they said they did not need me. I feel very disappointed and rejected. It is just a pattern with this church, I can't seem to find my place in this church. The door is shut again. I can't seem to make relationships as hard as I try. I feel very lonely. I went to the women's ministry, I got involved in a small group, I went for over two months, been away for over a month, never heard from anyone. I went to Sunday small group and I really felt like maybe I could make friends, but nothing has come of it, because I stopped going, I did not want to go alone. I have been away for over six weeks and no one seems to care. Why can't I fit in Lord? Am I in the wrong place? Please show me. I used to have friends here before we went to Charleston, I can't even get them to call me back, or even want to spend time with me. What is it Lord? Why do you want me in this lonely, lonely place? Please use this loneliness in whatever way it will benefit me, to make me more like You. I asked you for clarity for the prison ministry, I can see it is a closed door. It couldn't have closed any harder. We don't need you. Okay! I get it. I am just disappointed. I pray Lord, that You would shape me by this disappointment to be more like You. I know You have anointed me for online ministry and I am grateful for that. I want to be used by You and if loneliness is a byproduct of that, so be it. I know You are going to move me, to go where Bob is, yet this life is so lonely and sometimes feels more than what I can handle. Please help me today Lord, help me grow through this.
I realize that life has its disappointments-changes and I can't let them derail me from what I know I AM in Christ, What He has showed me. These disappointments we suddenly face, that change things up we had planned, they could very well be the purpose of God, the intervention of God to keep us positioned in the flow of His Kingdom purpose. I bring my life to You, Lord Jesus, all that I am at this season, this time and pray You use me. I give you my dashed expectations, my disappointment in things not going the way I thought they would. My feelings of rejection, my loneliness, I lay at Your feet at the foot of the cross, because You died for these. Guide my life Lord Jesus and strengthen me in the character of Your life as I live and grow, learn and become all You have designed for me. Jesus. I offer My Life to You. AMEN!

Exhortation- The Shepherd's Communicated Love-Wisdom!
Jesus is my mentoring model and this is what He has taught me over the years, it is a challenge for all of us to be F.A.T. servants and Dare to C.A.R.E. It is actually posted at my website right now, so if you want to use it for anyone who is wanting to know what mentoring is all about, feel free! I will make a few comments tonight, but I will also post this at my blog with the title Mentoring: http://kimberlymac.blogspot.com and make a few comments tonight about mentoring and if they want to grow further in their spare time, they can go to my blog:
Mentoring!
Mentoring is not about you making someone like you. Mentoring begins with Jesus and ends with Jesus. Mentoring does not say: "Look at me, be like me"! Mentoring is Jesus saying to you: I dare you to care just like I did, the 24-7 kind of caring!
The act of mentoring can be described perfectly by these words: Selflessness – Willessness! Mentoring is pointing people to Christ, pressing them toward a position of His stability in the middle of the flow of God's Kingdom purpose for their lives. Mentoring is not duplication, it is honoring the God design. Everyone has a God-shape, a God design for their lives and no two people are the same and that in itself is a huge #AWE-GOD!
Therefore mentoring can never be done on your own or by your lead. Followship is the key to successful mentoring and surrender to God is the 1st step a mentor takes in any divine appointment. When you give your life to God as His mentor, you are asking God to make you F.A.T…. Faithful to Him, Available To His Timing 24/7 and Teachable by His Holy Spirit.
I have found that mentoring is not about changing people, only God can do that, it is about listening and owning their emotions, letting them know their feelings are valuable to you and pointing them to Jesus, His Spirit and Truth in every way you possibly - creatively can. God is creative and when He sets you up to mentor someone that is totally bound and you can't even see the 1st string to unbind them, you have to know it is not about your ability it is all about your attitude: "God's God This"!
Mentoring is followship! Followship is knowing without a doubt you can't fix someone, you can't shape someone and you can't change them or make any kind of eternal-lasting impact without God. So mentoring begins every morning with your 1st step out being "down" bowing down to #AWE-GOD, recognizing Him as Sovereign King. Humbly-Submissively-Willessly-Reverently Bowing and not getting up until you are willessly submitted to Him in reverent AWE!
It is there in the 1st step of your day, bowing before God where mentoring is enabled, where God is revealed and His wisdom, grace, mercy and strength is begun. From your 1st step of bowing down to your steps throughout that day, it is choice by choice a decision for followship! Followship is an awesome mentoring position, and in this position, you will be in the perfect flow of His Kingdom purpose and mentoring will happen, not naturally but supernaturally by God, by His strength, wisdom and discernment working in You and through You for His glory.
God's Kingdom purposes are flowing all around us all day long and a good mentor will learn how to step into the flow of God's purpose by being completely submitted to His Sovereignty and clinging with all their might to His Infinite Love!
God will teach you how to care-mentor others. He will 1st challenge you to Dare To C.A.R.E. ! You can't care well without consistency! You can't care well until you settle the question of availability! You can't care well if you don't respond well! You can't care well if you are not pointed in an eternal direction!
Will You Be The One! Will You Be The One Who Brings God's Presence, Light And Truth Into Every Relationship He Divinely Brings You Too! Therefore mentoring is not about duplicating yourself, trying to make someone like you, it is all about making them F. A.T. and helping them slip into the shape God created for them and eventually presenting them the challenge to Dare To C.A.R.E.
