Daniel Chapter 10
Daniel 10: 3 I ate no pleasant or desirable food, nor did any meat or wine come into my mouth; and I did not anoint myself at all for the full three weeks.
My Thoughts About These Verses As I Listen To The Holy Spirit:
This is how Daniel fasted… No meat, no wine and nothing that tastes good… LOL.. kind of like the Daniel Fast! No pizza, No Chocolate… But what was so cool when I was on the Daniels Fast was not what I was sacrificing as much as how much clarity I had in hearing from God. Daniel has really inspired me to be more set apart for God, to not live desiring the excesses of this culture and to cut out a lot of TV that is not needed and full of cultural sin that I don't need to expose my spirit to. Daniel lived out his life in such an excellent way, this is what I desire too, change me Jesus.
VS 6 b and the sound of his words was like the noise of a multitude [of people or the roaring of the sea].
My Thoughts About These Verses As I Listen To The Holy Spirit:
When I read this, I thought this has to be God's Voice. I can't imagine what that will be like to hear His Voice and how His very voice has so much power. His voice has power to create out of nothing and it has power to make things happen, to change things, just His Voice alone has so much power. His Voice made Daniel week at the knees… hmmmmmm
Daniel 10:9 Then I heard the sound of his words; and when I heard the sound of his words, I fell on my face in a deep sleep, with my face [sunk] to the ground.
Daniel 10:10-11 And behold, a hand touched me, which set me [unsteadily] upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.11 And [the angel] said to me, O Daniel, you greatly beloved man, understand the words that I speak to you and stand upright, for to you I am now sent. And while he was saying this word to me, I stood up trembling.
My Thoughts About These Verses As I Listen To The Holy Spirit:
Wow, that is truly bowing before God, being so overcome by His Presence! That was so cool when I read that… but what also touched me deeply was when the angel said: Daniel, you greatly beloved man… I want to be called: "greatly beloved" and I know the reason Daniel was is because of the excellent way He lived His life. Dan 10:11
Daniel 10:12 Then he said to me, Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your mind and heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come as a consequence of [and in response to] your words.

I loved this verse so much! It gives me such hope and peace to know that our #prayer is heard. God sends His angels! Dan 10:12

My Thoughts About These Verses As I Listen To The Holy Spirit:
And we wonder why our prayers don't get answered as soon as we would like them too, but we have to know that they do, that the angels are fighting for us. God is for us!! I thought that was cool about the angel Michael, he came to help get the answered prayer through. It reminded me about the angels of 3rd Battalion 6th Marines as they fought the Taliban to get the votes in from the remote villages, so those people's votes could count. God Bless Our Military! Much!

So many times we want to know more, we want to know as much as we can, BUT God does not tell us and this shows the reason why. We want to know everything! Our flesh can't handle it!! It is better to let God work these things out! We don't need to know everything, we just need to trust!

The thing that saddens me most on Good Friday, is the irreverent-evil attitude the people had towards Jesus. The reason it still saddens me is because I see it so prevalent in our reality, in our culture today. We are using the vessels God created to be holy, to toast the worldly culture. We carry the name of Jesus, the Holy Spirit of God resides in us! Think on this- return your life completely to the AWE-REVERENT-RESPECT OF ALMIGHTY GOD and do not toast unholy things with your Holy Spirit Of God Filled Vessel!

There was such an irreverence towards God's Son, Jesus Christ on that Good Friday 2000 years ago. Today, I see that same irreverence towards Jesus in the very culture we live in. It is time for the Bride of Christ, (and that would be us) to turn our hearts back to God in complete reverence for WHO HE TRULY IS! Undivided in heart – we, The Bride of Christ, need to develop our AWE GOD and transplant our heart strings from this earth- this culture to God's Kingdom culture. Today in our way of life, there is such a disrespect-irreverence for our God. It hurts my heart so much and I can't even begin to imagine how it hurts the heart of our God.
DO NOT TOAST UNHOLY THINGS WITH A HOLY VESSEL!

The Lord knows those Who is His, we are marked in the unseen world…
We too are Holy Vessels in the house of the Lord- Do you understand that you have been declared Holy! God literally spoke out, He declared me Holy, set His name on my head. If we have been declared as Holy, do we treat ourselves as such. WE have been set apart for sacred purpose. We are sacred when we go out into the world. Nothing is to satans greater advantage than to make sure we do not see ourselves this way. Satan cannot declare us unholy, but he can make us think we are and we will act like we are. We act like we feel. Satan tries to convince us that we have been defiled and there is nothing sacred about us. Satan has no greater agendas to desecrate that which God consecrates. What Belshazzar did with those holy vessels, is what satan wants to do with us, treat us who are holy as unholy and use our vessels to toast an unholy cause. Satan has a will for our lives, he can't take the seal of God off of us, but he can make us think we are common and not holy, then he can use us to toast an unholy cause. Satan uses all sorts of methods in order to use our holy vessels to toast an unholy cause; in all kinds of business, finance, relational… anyway to twist us into selfish ambition, any way that we act unholy or common.

Since I have been through this too many times, God loves to take us on God-Adventures... my wisdom to you during this life transition is to take a minute each day as you get up, position yourself in God's strength, connect to Him heart to heart and take a deep breathe of His Holy Spirit. Moving is so difficult, especially as you move into a new Adventure with God, the enemy likes to create chaos-strife in transitional times, he knows our flesh is vulnerable at these times... so I purposely everyday as we were packing, sat on the edge of my bed each morning and took a deep breathe of God, which I exhaled all day long... Jesus standing before the Father God, being gifted with us all! He is our King, He is our Messiah! The Ancient of Days is the Father God, He is our justice and in Him justice will prevail. He is the judge Who makes sure that no one, at any time, anywhere gets away with anything. Every injustice will be made right by The Ancient of Days!
Daniel 7: 25 And he shall speak words against the Most High [God] and shall wear out the saints of the Most High and think to change the time [of sacred feasts and holy days] and the law; and the saints shall be given into his hand for a time, two times, and half a time [three and one-half years].

Even though satan is releasing an attack of weariness against the saints, Jesus came to give us victory over the attacks of satan and "to undo destroy, loosen, and dissolve the works the devil has done.
1 John 3:8 [But] he who commits sin [who practices evildoing] is of the devil [takes his character from the evil one], for the devil has sinned (violated the divine law) from the beginning. The reason the Son of God was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil [has done].

Problems never come when we are ready to deal with them. If satan wants to "wear out" the saints, how will this take place? He tries to wear us down gradually so we don't notice it; he relentlessly comes again and again. One way satan seeks to wear us out is by stealing our time, forcing us to deal with trouble that he starts. He would like us to spend our lives trying to put out the little fires he starts.
Answer: James 4:7 Submit ourselves to the Lord, resist the devil and he will flee. How long should we wait until we resist him? When should we resist him? Do not be patient with the enemy. Resist him at his onset!

Praising God resists satan. Immediately begin to praise God; in this way, we resist Satan. The bible teaches us to be alert, to watch and pray. "Do not delay – pray right away"
Applying The Blood Of Jesus by faith to the situation. Just as the Israelites were delivered from death by putting the Blood of the Lamb on the lintels and door frames of their homes during the Passover (see Exodus 12:1-13) so we can apply the blood of our Passover Lamb, Jesus, by faith and be protected.
Remind satan that you know Jesus totally defeated him on the cross.
Satan wants us weak and worn out; that way we have no power to resist him. He knows that if he gains a foothold, he can get a stronghold. Resist the devil at his onset. Be aggressive; do not wait to see what will happen. Stir yourself up in the Holy Spirit- fan the flame of your inner fire and do not let it go out during trouble. Exodus 12:12-13 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
As our family prepared and led a Passover Seder a few years ago in South Carolina, the Lord reminded me of a truth which I had understood, but never had seen so clearly applied from the Passover story.
Of course the celebration of Passover for believers normally emphasizes the revelation of our Passover Lamb -- the Lamb of God, Yeshua, who was delivered up, a Lamb without blemish, and sacrificed in our place as an offering for our sins. As Israel celebrates deliverance from slavery, we celebrate deliverance from the bondage of sin. We celebrate knowing that death no longer has power over us since we pass from this temporal world into the eternal when we die.
Furthermore, when the children of Israel were passed over, while each of the firstborn of Egypt died, Israel did not depart as penniless slaves. They left carrying with them the riches of Egypt! Likewise, we who were spiritually "penniless" when we came to the Lamb, instantaneously inherited riches beyond our imagination. These are two of the wonderful lessons from the Passover event.
As I studied in preparation for our Seder another truth has struck me powerfully-- the blood needed to be applied! If the children of Israel had merely believed in the power of the lamb's blood, and the word of Moses, but never applied it to their doorposts, the angel of death would still have killed their firstborn! A passive belief in the blood would not have saved them -- action was required -- the blood needed to be applied to their doorpost. Once the blood was applied, a line was drawn across which the angel of death could not pass!
Most of us have an understanding of the power of the blood. But are we actively applying the blood to our lives and circumstances as a hedge of protection around us? No, not as a magic formula, but prayerfully in the spirit, as a cleansing and protective reality over our lives, families, loved ones, homes, cities and nations.
Kimberly, assume your authority as a child of God this passover season, and apply the blood over any area of your life that needs His supernatural protection and provision. Don't take a passive approach in these last days, but be actively walking in the power of the blood, this Passover, and in the coming days....for truly, if there was ever a time we needed to be walking in His power, protection and victory, it's Today!
