I, Kimberly Ann McCarthy will diligently pursue You, Father God, this day as my constant connection, conversation and courage. Be my excellence today Lord Jesus, choice by choice I hope huge to step out in Your right living by Your Truth. Followship will be my heart's desire as I purposefully and diligently pursue Your Kingdom plan-purposes and deny my selfishness. I Kimberly Ann McCarthy will not participate in the ease and excess of my culture today, I will simply-significantly be completely Yours, being found on the path of Your Kingdom purposes at play all around me, therefore, stepping out in this day with an eternal edge that keeps the sacrifice in salvation and makes a forever difference!

Matthew 6:14-15 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Last evening began the holiday of Pesach (Passover), the day we remember God's merciful redemption of the Jewish people from Egypt. When the final plague struck Pharoh and the Egyptians in Exodus, those who were spared were were the ones who applied blood to their doorposts as God warned. Interestingly, the blood that God required them to apply then was the blood of a spotless, unblemished lamb.
As believers in Messiah, we are blessed to have the blood of Jesus, our Passover Lamb, applied upon the doorposts of our hearts. The judgment we deserve has passed over us! And thankfully we can celebrate His redemption in our lives as well this season.
While this is a special time to celebrate God's passing over our sins, there is one thing we sometimes overlook. Not only should we remember the Lord's passing over our sins, but equally important is our obedience in passing over others' sins. Forgive our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. This is the way Jesus taught us to pray, is it not? Today we have the opportunity to make this prayer a reality in our lives.
Has someone offended you? Committed a sin against you? It happens, and unfortunately, it will probably happen again, as we live in a world full of sin. But we need to pass over those offenses just as God has passed over ours. Kimberly, Passover is the season to give our hurts to the Lord. Let's allow Him to heal and free us, and those we've hurt and who've hurt us. We have been forgiven many offenses by the innocent blood of our Messiah. How much more should we forgive?

My Thoughts About This:
It is kind of cool to look at my life with the heavenly hindsight I see in me after reading this. I realize just how much God has changed me. Years ago, I could list a lot of people I had not forgiven, my journals were full of the selfishness of unforgiveness, the holding of grudges, bitterness's that ate at my soul and disappointments in people and close family members that put a volatile – sharp edge around my emotions. The Holy Spirit taught me to guard my soul with Psalm 62:5 To put all my expectations for people in His Hands, trusting Him and believing that He was at work in the unseen. I have forgiven, I have let go, let be and let God. I can't tell you what freedom that has been for me. I don't place my expectations in people, I know they will fail me, just as much as I know I will not live up to their expectations. It is the human condition. For me, I have been forgiven much and I want to forgive much, to be like Jesus. I found the path to this truth is in the correct handling of human expectation – giving my expectations to Jesus, praying them through and believing He will shape them into His Kingdom plan by His Kingdom purposes in play all around me.

Exhortation- The Shepherd's Communicated Love-Wisdom!
We know that God's purposes are in play all around us, He is in control of this situation and He will use it all for His glory. We will all pray and hope huge that all will come to know God, Who loves them so much, Who can put them on the best track ever, with a future like no other! I hope huge for all of us to cling to God, dig our roots deeply in His Hope... Trust Him completely. He's Got This! His timing is perfect, His ways don't seem to be our ways, but eventually... we see the wisdom in them!

Dear Bob and Kim,
Have you ever noticed that many times our good works work against us? I have many times... and that's OK. Why? Because we serve Jesus Christ, and not for our own glory, but for His. Too many times God's people desire an appreciation "fix" from the people they serve. They feel slighted if they don't get an expected reward or "thank you" for their efforts. Some even become angry if they don't receive an outward sign of appreciation like an award, certificate, or honorarium when they do something good for someone or for the church. Is our motivation all about pleasing ourselves and our peers? Let's hope not.
Isaiah 64:6 All of us have become like something unclean, and all our righteous acts are like a polluted garment; all of us wither like a leaf, and our iniquities carry us away like the wind.

My Thoughts About This:
Thanks Great devotional! This so reminds me again with something Pastor Todd Mullins said a few weeks ago that has just stuck in my spirit: "We have taken the sacrifice out of salvation"! Our culture is our Babylon and we are either going to stand up for God or we are going to melt in to our culture. We all have adapted some kind of culture-ease and we need to cleanse ourselves from it and get back to complete Followship of Jesus!

The most important in the book of Daniel, it is the heart of it:
The rest of this study is for us, but not about us. 1st half we study integrity and the characters themselves The 2nd half of the book God is going to focus on the prophecies. Daniel age is about 67
VS 2 Everything has been third person, but now he speaks to us in 1st person.
1 IN THE first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions in his head as he was lying upon his bed. Then he wrote down the dream and told the gist of the matter.2 Daniel said, I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of the heavens [political and social agitations] were stirring up the great sea [the nations of the world].3 And four great beasts came up out of the sea in succession, and different from one another.4 The first [the Babylonian empire under Nebuchadnezzar] was like a lion and had eagle's wings. I looked till the wings of it were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand upon two feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.
God already has us ready for it, the empires represent the same gentile empires that we studied earlier in Daniel
5 And behold another beast, a second one [the Medo-Persian empire], was like a bear, and it raised up itself on one side [or one dominion] and three ribs were in its mouth between its teeth; and it was told, Arise, devour much flesh.6 After this I looked, and behold, another [the Grecian empire of Alexander the Great], like a leopard which had four wings of a bird on its back. The beast had also four heads [Alexander's generals, his successors], and dominion was given to it. 7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast [the Roman empire]--terrible, powerful and dreadful, and exceedingly strong. And it had great iron teeth; it devoured and crushed and trampled what was left with its feet. And it was different from all the beasts that came before it, and it had ten horns [symbolizing ten kings].
Times of the Gentiles- Four gentile nations! Head of Gold: Babylonian Silver: Medo-Persians Bronze: Greece Iron: Roman.
8 I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another horn, a little one, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots; and behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouth speaking great things.
A little horn? Rest assured this is the one that scripture proves will be the anti-Christ. Had eyes like the eyes of a man. We know something is wrong deep down inside, we know there is evil inside.
He spoke boastfully. A mouth making great statements
Revelations 13: 4 They fell down and paid homage to the dragon, because he had bestowed on the beast all his dominion and authority; they also praised and worshiped the beast, exclaiming, Who is a match for the beast, and, Who can make war against him?5 And the beast was given the power of speech, uttering boastful and blasphemous words, (same as Daniel 7) and he was given freedom to exert his authority and to exercise his will during forty-two months (three and a half years). 6 And he opened his mouth to speak slanders against God, blaspheming His name and His abode, [even vilifying] those who live in heaven.7 He was further permitted to wage war on God's holy people (the saints) and to overcome them. And power was given him to extend his authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation, 8 And all the inhabitants of the earth will fall down in adoration and pay him homage, everyone whose name has not been recorded in the Book of Life of the Lamb that was slain [in sacrifice] from the foundation of the world.
Dragon is satan himself. The enemy wants what belongs to God, wants the worship that goes to God.
Daniel, satan, anti-Christ- Gabriel- Ancient Of Days all in this dream scene.. Daniel is able to see God take on a critical role that Daniel can see.
9 I kept looking until thrones were placed [for the assessors with the Judge], and the Ancient of Days [God, the eternal Father] took His seat, Whose garment was white as snow and the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was like the fiery flame; its wheels were burning fire. 10 A stream of fire came forth from before Him; a thousand thousands ministered to Him and ten thousand times ten thousand rose up and stood before Him; the Judge was seated [the court was in session] and the books were opened(books of deeds) 11 I looked then because of the sound of the great words which the horn was speaking. I watched until the beast was slain and its body destroyed and given over to be burned with fire.12 And as for the rest of the beasts, their power of dominion was taken away; yet their lives were prolonged [for the duration of their lives was fixed] for a season and a time.13 I saw in the night visions, and behold, on the clouds of the heavens came One like a Son of man, and He came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him.14 And there was given Him [the Messiah] dominion and glory and kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and His kingdom is one which shall not be destroyed.

- VS 15-16 Daniel is in the scene - Goes over to someone standing in the scene and asks them what is going on with the dream. Daniel is participating in the dream. He may have spoken to Gabriel. Satan – anti-Christ – Ancient Of Days – ten thousands of thousands. Ancient of Days entering the scene as the chief judge of the universe. He is coming in to make jugement. The judgement is going to be over this little horn and those in his empire. Fire represents judgement. He sat on a chariot throne. When God has to go somewhere, He never leaves His Throne.
- Daniels name means: God is judge. IN the very 1st vision he receives from God, He see's that God is judge.
- Ancient of Days always seen as Judge. It doesn't just have significance to saints of God in those days or in Extichology , it is significant to us every day we live, watch the news or cry over something heinous in the news. Ancient tells us: long, vast, lengthy Days tells us of time. A terrible crime was commitment, it takes a long time to find suspect, so now they have a new judge to try the case, but this judge did not go through the passion suffering with the community during the time of the crime. Analogy the ancient of days is sitting on the throne through every criminal act, same judge from day one to the end of days. Ancient of Days is our comfort and sense of judgement when murderers and rapist go free. We have an Ancient of Days Who promises that people will be judged, their will be justice and judgement, people do not get buy with heinous crimes, they will face the Judge, the Ancient of Days! The Ancient Of Days Knows Everything. Parents say: "I was not born yesterday" The Ancient Of Days Says: I was not born, I AM. Any judgement that comes from this earth will be nothing in comparison to what our God will do, He will right all wrongs. He sits as judge over the earth from the 1st day of its creation. He will be there all through time and nothing passes over His gaze.
VS 21-22 21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
VS 11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
Daniel is looking at the horn speak and he continued to watch and could not believe that the horn would speak like he was in front of the Ancient of Days…
Revelations 19: 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Revelations 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
Revelations 20: 1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
After the second coming of Christ, there will be a huge battle and Christ will deal with satan, he will be bound up for a 1000 years at the time of the millennial kingdom. It is a literal kingdom, because every single kingdom in Daniel are literal kingdoms
Revelations 19: 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God
He will just say it and it will happen. He won't have to pick up His Hand. He can say dead and they are dead. He is the one who speaks and it comes into existence

Daniel 7 13 I saw in the night visions, and behold, on the clouds of the heavens came One like a Son of man, and He came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him.14 And there was given Him [the Messiah] dominion and glory and kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and His kingdom is one which shall not be destroyed.
The Ancient of Days: God The Father… One Like A Son Of Man: Christ Jesus
Mark 14: 60 And the high priest stood up in the midst and asked Jesus, Have You not even one answer to make? What [about this which] these [men] are testifying against You?61 But He kept still and did not answer at all. Again the high priest asked Him, Are You the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One), the Son of the Blessed?62 And Jesus said, I AM; and you will [all] see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power (the Almighty) and coming on the clouds of heaven. He is quoting Daniel Chapter 7
65 And some of them began to spit on Him and to blindfold Him and to strike Him with their fists, saying to Him, Prophesy! And the guards received Him with blows and by slapping Him.
They spit and hit the Word made flesh, the fullness of the Godhead bodily, the radiance of God's Glory
All for saying I am the One to be presented before the Ancient of Days coming in the clouds. This is a divine reference because He is worshipped. Perfect picture of God the Father and God the Son in the image of Daniel 7:13
1 Cor 3:11-15; 2 Cor 5:10 Speak of the judgement of the saved… all will stand before the judge. We will stand before the Judgement Seat of Christ where we will receive reward or no reward Lost: Rev 20:11 Judgement for the lost. The great white throne will appear at the end of the millennium . The enemy will do everything he can to put off the time of Christ, but authority has been given to no one to deny
15 As for me, Daniel, my spirit was grieved and anxious within me, and the visions of my head alarmed and agitated me.16 I came near to one of those who stood there and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me and made known to me the interpretation of the things.

Jesus was presented before His Father God! All Authority was given Him. Jesus was slain to receive glory, power and all honor and His Kingdom will come. Daniel saw the coronation of the Messiah King. New American Commentary. The Son is presented to the Ancient of Days to receive the universal Kingdom as a gift from His Father….
Daniel 7:18 But the saints of the Most High [God] shall receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever. (Yes, forever and ever – to the forever and to the forever of forevers -) The Kingdom will be shared with the saints of God and the people of God will proclaim the identity of their true messiah Matthew 5:5 fulfilled: blessed are the meek, they shall inherit the earth>
Revelations 20 1 THEN HE showed me the river whose waters give life, sparkling like crystal, flowing out from the throne of God and of the Lamb2 Through the middle of the broadway of the city; also, on either side of the river was the tree of life with its twelve varieties of fruit, yielding each month its fresh crop; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing and the restoration of the nations.
After the scene in Daniel 7 all wrongs will be right… clear as crystal, nothing clouded for the Ancient of Days has judged. All wrongs will be made right. We suffer on this earth when things do not seem fair. From the 1st day until the last in all things pertaining to the Earth, The Ancient of Days sits as judge, Holy and Right- All wrongs will be made right.
19 Then I wished to know the truth about the fourth beast--which was different from all the others, exceedingly terrible and shocking, whose teeth were of iron and its nails of bronze, which devoured, broke and crushed, and trampled what was left with its feet--20 And about the ten horns [representing kings] that were on its head, and the other horn which came up later and before which three of [the horns] fell, the horn which had eyes and a mouth that spoke great things and which looked greater than the others.21 As I looked, this horn made war with the saints and prevailed over them 22 Until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High [God], and the time came when the saints possessed the kingdom.23 Thus [the angel] said, The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all other kingdoms and shall devour the whole earth, tread it down, and break it in pieces and crush it.24 And as for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings shall arise; and another shall arise after them, and he shall be different from the former ones, and he shall subdue and put down three kings.25 And he shall speak words against the Most High [God] and shall wear out the saints of the Most High and think to change the time [of sacred feasts and holy days] and the law; and the saints shall be given into his hand for a time, two times, and half a time [three and one-half years]. 26 But the judgment shall be set [by the court of the Most High], and they shall take away his dominion to consume it [gradually] and to destroy it [suddenly] in the end.27 And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heavens shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions shall serve and obey Him.28 Here is the end of the matter. As for me, Daniel, my [waking] thoughts troubled and alarmed me much and my cheerfulness of countenance was changed in me; but I kept the matter [of the interpreting angel's information] in my heart and mind.
