Constant Conversation W/God June 17

Thursday, June 17th

AWE- ALMIGHTY GOD!

Make My Life Excellent In You-Constant In Your Courage!

Today, I Kimberly Ann McCarthy lay down my personal rights, plans, expectations and serve God for the sake of His Kingdom. I will cling to God's Kingdom Purposes that are in play all around me and put my personal expectations in His hands.

Worthy News Brief @worthyemail.com

Kimberly, fighting takes training!

1 Chron. 12:2 armed with bows, using both the right hand and the left in hurling stones and shooting arrows with the bow. They were of Benjamin, Saul's brethren.

Hebrews 11:33-34 who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

As we continue our study of the men who followed David, another characteristic was their ability to war. They learned how to battle with both the right hand and the left hand for hurling stones. If you have ever thrown a ball, you know that you can aim effectively with your dominant hand - but try it with the opposite hand - it's far more difficult to throw accurately. But the men that followed David learned to throw with both arms effectively! It must have taken months of training to develop such skill.

We also learn to war, not in the flesh, but in the Spirit. And we too must train to use our spiritual weapons, and to use them accurately. The word of God is a sharp sword when used with skill and spiritual authority, and the right scripture for a situation can bring tremendous healing and deliverance; but we must know the word and walk in the spirit to be able to use it in warfare.

Furthermore, every serious intercessor knows he must learn to concentrate his mind and will intently for battling in prayer. For his aim to be accurate and penetrating he must overcome the tendency to wander in his thoughts and lose focus on the issue at hand. To be effective warriors we need to train our minds and wills to concentrate so that our prayers become like lasers for breaking through in the spirit.

Kimberly, in this day and age, Yeshua (Jesus) is calling us to spiritual battle, and our training is critical for success and victory. We must know the word and use it skillfully, and we must learn to concentrate in prayer for the spiritual objectives to which we are called. The Lord will equip us as we ask and seek Him for it, and do our homework. Let's be inspired by David's mighty men, training diligently to take aim in our battle with the powers of darkness!

My Thoughts About This:

I guess we just don't realize how intense the spiritual battle is around us, God's purposes are in play all around us, so of course the enemies schemes must be in play too. I war too much in the flesh, this is true, I must learn to war more in the Spirit. The Word of God is powerful and I love to pray it, because I know it does not return void. My mind, yes I struggle there, that is my greatest struggle in becoming a spiritual warrior for God. Lord, I pray You would help me win the battle of the mind focus by Your Spirit. Teach me to be a better warrior, train me up Holy Spirit.

End Of The Story! Do Not Hold Grudges! Colossians 3:13  Be gentle and forbearing with one another and, if one has a difference (a grievance or complaint) against another, readily pardoning each other; even as the Lord has [freely] forgiven you, so must you also [forgive].

I don't have the ability to truly love without God.

Galatians 6:14 But far be it from me to glory [in anything or anyone] except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) through Whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world!

Amplified Bible

Proverbs 16: 5-6  Everyone proud and arrogant in heart is disgusting, hateful, and exceedingly offensive to the Lord; be assured [I pledge it] they will not go unpunished. 6  By mercy and love, truth and fidelity [to God and man--not by sacrificial offerings], iniquity is purged out of the heart, and by the reverent, worshipful fear of the Lord men depart from and avoid evil.

Don't be rude! We have so many occasions where we get frustrated with people and we just fly off in rudeness. God is not pleased with rudeness. We need to step up.

Ephesians 2:42

Ephesians 4:31-32

Let all bitterness and indignation and wrath (passion, rage, bad temper) and resentment (anger, animosity) and quarreling (brawling, clamor, contention) and slander (evil-speaking, abusive or blasphemous language) be banished from you, with all malice (spite, ill will, or baseness of any kind).

32And become useful and helpful and kind to one another, tenderhearted (compassionate, understanding, loving-hearted), forgiving one another [readily and freely], as God in Christ forgave you.

Colossians 3:11-13

[In this new creation all distinctions vanish.] There [a]is no room for and there can be neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, [nor difference between nations whether alien] barbarians or Scythians [[b]who are the most savage of all], nor slave or free man; but Christ is all and in all [[c]everything and everywhere, to all men, without distinction of person]. 12Clothe yourselves therefore, as God's own chosen ones (His own picked representatives), [who are] purified and holy and well-beloved [by God Himself, by putting on behavior marked by] tenderhearted pity and mercy, kind feeling, a lowly opinion of yourselves, gentle ways, [and] patience [which is tireless and long-suffering, and has the power to endure whatever comes, with good temper]. 13 Be gentle and forbearing with one another and, if one has a difference (a grievance or complaint) against another, readily pardoning each other; even as the Lord has [freely] forgiven you, so must you also [forgive].

Don't be self-seeking. Don't live for yourself. Our culture teaches us to be very self-indulgent with much excess. Live For The Kingdom Of God.

Romans 12:9-11

[Let your] love be sincere (a real thing); hate what is evil [loathe all ungodliness, turn in horror from wickedness], but hold fast to that which is good. 10Love one another with brotherly affection [as members of one family], giving precedence and showing honor to one another. 11Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord.

THEE WORD FOR THE WEEK

Bill Jenkins Connect Group Study

Thursday:  Read James 1:2-4

  • How can we have joy in trials?
  • Is joy something that we can choose even when circumstances are challenging?
  • Joy does not depend upon a happening.  That is happiness.  Joy is something we can choose.  How are you doing in choosing joy in the challenging circumstances?

James 1:2-4

Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations.   3Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.   4But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.

Amplified Bible (AMP)

My Thoughts About This:

Joy is a choice and it comes out of serving others. God wired us with His Joy when we are found in the purpose He has in play, when we are serving Him and His purposes, we experience His Joy. Happiness to me is fleeting, especially when you chase after it, the variables are never the same and when we stand in happiness, it is on a slippery slope. Because of our human condition and our culturalism, happiness is pretty tainted, it is hard to truly grasp it for very long. Joy on the other hand comes from the inside of us, it is a God attribute that gets stirred up in supernatural ways as we fellowship with God in His Word, in serving Him and in loving Him 1st. When I am in a particularly difficult situation, I can have joy in my faith through the promises of God. When God's Sovereign will is hard to swallow, I usually cling harder to His Infinite Love, the two go hand in hand. During trials I look to my Heavenly Hindsight that points me to God's faithfulness, and stirs up my trust.

Verse Of The Day@biblegateway.com

"As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;" Psalm 103:13 NIV

Notes From Listening to Psalm 103:

Praise the Lord all my soul, my inmost being praise His Holy Name… don't forget His benefits… heals us, redeems us, crowns us with love and compassion… renews our youth… works righteousness for oppressed. Compassionate, gracious, slow to anger abounding in love. He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us…. His love for us is great… As a father has compassion on His children, the Lord has on us who fear him. As for us our days are like grass… short… gone… but from everlasting to everlasting the Lord's love is with us, and His righteousness with our children… The Lord has established His throne in Heaven and His Kingdom rules over all… Praise The Lord!

My Thoughts About This:

The compassion of our AWE-GOD is overwhelming. We don't get what we deserve, He gives us more, so much more than we could ever deserve, hope for or imagine. We are crowned with His compassion and renewed in His strength. His everlasting love never leaves us and He rules continuously over us, we are never alone, never betrayed and always kept in His righteousness. AWE-GOD! Thank You!

Marketing!

We are bombarded by marketing. Gap between marketing and what they are like. The best marketing is not always professional. What would happen if we were our best marketers and people saw it and said: that person is the real deal. If what I advertize, market and what I am is different, I will send a mixed mixture. Daily discipline do what you should know to do, do what is right.

I think marketing anything starts from within. Marketing is nothing if it doesn't have a passion ignited by God. God puts things in our lives that we love to do, therefore, it is not coincidental that we have a passion for our life work. If we kindle our own fires, the soon burn out, so the best marketing to me is walking by the Light of God's passion in us, following after Him and being true to the inner man with our outer actions.

Well may my mouth be filled with joyous laughter, because of the singular, surprising grace which I have received of the Lord, for I have found Jesus, the promised seed, and he is mine forever. Oswald Chambers

My soul, get Calvary's blood-red rose into thy hand by faith, by love wear it, by communion preserve it, by daily watchfulness make it thine all in all, and thou shalt be blessed beyond all bliss, happy beyond a dream. Jesus, be mine forever, my God, my heaven, my all. Oswald Chambers

Gift of Grandchildren

"Children's children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children." Proverbs 17:6

There are privileges to maturing in age, and one of them is the gift of grandchildren. Like a king and queen's crown, they are exceptionally valuable and are to be displayed proudly. You look at their hands and feet, and you pray for them to handle life prayerfully and to walk wisely with the Lord. You gaze into their innocent eyes and see glimpses of God's glory, and you pray for them to look often to the face of Jesus and know that He loves them.
Grandchildren are gifts from God that invite love and unify families. They are reminders that the Lord is at work extending His legacy. So as you love on these little ones make sure to sow into them the Word of God, and model for them grace, love, forgiveness, and fear of the Lord. Teach them to keep their eyes on Jesus, for He will never let them down. Godly grandparents invite trusting grandchildren into their lives.
Invite them to your work, so that they can see how you relate to people with patience, encouragement, and accountability. Invite them into your home, so they soak in how you unconditionally love and respect their grandmother or grandfather. Make sure they catch you laughing out loud every time they visit with you. Call them on the phone; send them emails and birthday cards; take them on trips; buy them ice cream, clothes, and their first Bible. Make their memories with you bring a smile to their face.
Lastly, if you are a parent, honor your parents by allowing them to be in the presence of your children. Take a break from parenting and let your mom and dad spoil them. If you are a grandparent, be extremely grateful to your children for the opportunity to invest in their children. Honor your children by respecting their way of parenting. Work with them and not against them. Indeed, your children still need your time, money, and wisdom.
"But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children-- with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts" (Psalm 103:17-18).
How can I support my children as they parent their children?

My Thoughts By His Holy Spirit About This Verse! AWE GOD!

All I can say to this is Yes and AMEN! Lord help me to be a blessing to my children and a Godly example to my grandchildren. Be in our relationships, help us to love, cherish and care for one another in a Godly way. Jesus.

Gleaming From Daniel 4- Learning:Growing!

Beth Moore Workbook Notes Week 4

We are princesses but not in the Kingdoms of this world.

Prosperous- Aramaic- flourishing

Prosperous – Hebrew- Luxuriant

Definition of the high life in Babylon: lazing in the la of luxury

As addictive as cocaine, one little snort of luxury and we decide we were born for it. Until then, if were not careful, we can confuse the pursuit of life with the pursuit of luxury. We develop a tast for it quickly and when it is withheld, we cry foul.

Some of us don't visit luxury, we live at its address

On a scale of one to ten, how important is our stuff? Could we take ti or leave it? Release it without a fit if we had to? Or has it corrupted us?

John 15:8 8When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.

Amplified Bible

God unapologetically desires to prosper His children spiritually, but today's lesson throws the spotlight on the temporal kind.

Bible Studies abide all the way in my subconscious where my deepest feelings and motivation are stirred and changed. They dislodged lies I've believed since childhood and replace them with truth.

Daniel 4:4-9

I, Nebuchadnezzar, was at home in my palace, contented and prosperous. 5 I had a dream that made me afraid. As I was lying in bed, the images and visions that passed through my mind terrified me. 6 So I commanded that all the wise men of Babylon be brought before me to interpret the dream for me. 7 When the magicians, enchanters, astrologers[a] and diviners came, I told them the dream, but they could not interpret it for me. 8 Finally, Daniel came into my presence and I told him the dream. (He is called Belteshazzar, after the name of my god, and the spirit of the holy gods is in him.)

9 I said, "Belteshazzar, chief of the magicians, I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in you, and no mystery is too difficult for you. Here is my dream; interpret it for me.

New International Version (NIV)

Nebuchadnezzar could not seem to dislodge his polytheistic thinking. God had never taken root in the inmost places of Neb's heart, transforming even his subconscious values and beliefs.

Luke 24:45

Then He [thoroughly] opened up their minds to understand the Scriptures,

Imagine, every time a person gains understanding of scriptural truths, the entire Godhead has been at work. God the Father must ordain it, the Son must open it, and the Holy Spirit must infuse it.

I kind of feel like Neb at times, God has taught me hard lessons and then a while down the road, I haven't learned it, I fall back into the same pattern. I do want to change that, I do want to learn from my hard lessons and truly change. I get frustrated with myself that I even lean towards a direction that I have learned a hard lesson on. I know I can live better! http://kimberlymac.blogspot.com
