AWE- ALMIGHTY GOD!

Make My Life Excellent In You-Constant In Your Courage!

I, Kimberly Ann McCarthy will diligently pursue You, Father God, this day as my constant connection, conversation and courage. #prayer @worldprayr

Many of your friendships grew from your need for affection, affirmation, and emotional support. But now you must seek friends to whom you can relate from your center, from the place where you know that you are deeply loved. Friendship becomes more and more possible when you accept yourself as deeply loved. Then you can be with others in a non-possessive way. Real friends find their inner correspondence where both know the love of God. There spirit speaks to spirit and heart to heart.

Psalms 91 ~ The Amplified Bible

Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness--trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never]. 15He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation.

Gleaming From Daniel 5- Learning:Growing!

Notes From Listening TO 5th CD Of Beth Moore's Daniel Teaching

Is this getting to our thinking, becoming aware of the kind of Babylon around us. Some of it is suble and some of it pulls hard.

30 years fall between Daniel 4 end and beginning of Daniel 5

23 Years Neb has passed away and four different people have been on the throne. There have been murder and all kinds of things you can imagine.

King on the throne is Belshazzar l and he is Neb grandson, he is referred to the Son, very common for son in lintate to be called patriatcharl name of son. The Medo Persians are gathering closer to the city of Babylon, Cyrus the great and the armies are not very far from the city and the people are aware they are coming. They have an inflated sense of security because they have 20 years of food and plenty of water with the ephrates river running through it. The scriptures open with Belshazzar l throwing a party, to give a sense of a boost of morale to the people….

1 King Belshazzar held a great feast for his one thousand nobles. The wine flowed freely.2 Belshazzar, heady with the wine, ordered that the gold and silver chalices his father Nebuchadnezzar had stolen from God's Temple of Jerusalem be brought in so that he and his nobles, his wives and concubines, could drink from them.3 When the gold and silver chalices were brought in, the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines, drank wine from them.4 They drank the wine and drunkenly praised their gods made of gold and silver, bronze and iron, wood and stone.5 At that very moment, the fingers of a human hand appeared and began writing on the lamp-illumined, whitewashed wall of the palace. When the king saw the disembodied hand writing away,6 he went white as a ghost, scared out of his wits. His legs went limp and his knees knocked. The seen Hand of God is seen! Writing on the plaster of the wall. The king was so frightened his body responded and gave way. Greek historians wrote of a great feast happening on the night of the fall of the great city of Babylon Oct 12th 539 BC. This was one of the greatest empires ever in existence and it crumbles in a single night. Belshazzar made a grievous mistake of treating the holy as unholy. VS 2 2 Belshazzar, heady with the wine, ordered that the gold and silver chalices his father Nebuchadnezzar had stolen. All the articles that had been taken by Nebuchdnezzar were in storage until this time.

Lev 10 Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed The Dwelling and everything that was in it, consecrating them.11 He sprinkled some of the oil on the Altar seven times, anointing the Altar and all its utensils, the Washbasin and its stand, consecrating them.12 He poured some of the anointing il on Aaron's head, anointing him and thus consecrating him.

He anointed every single article in the temple. An anointed article or person: Hebrew masiyah…When you say it phonetically it is Messiah. This is the word we get messiah, the anointed one. Cristos-Greek, the anointed One, both of these words mean the exact same thing. You anoint everything that has to do with the worship to and the service to the one who is the anointed ONE

2 Chronicles 7:16  Believe me, I've chosen and sanctified this Temple that you have built: My Name is stamped on it forever; my eyes are on it and my heart in it always.

Qadas- Hebrew for consecrate: means to be clean, to pronounce clean; to declare it as holey treat as holy; People or things are set aside and reserved exclusively for God. In this night in drunken foolishness Belshazzar gets in his head…. Bring in the goblets… what kind of goblets? Gold and silver both.

VS 3 They brought in the gold goblets… consecrated were lifted up to their gods…. From the 3rd verse no silver was mentioned, God only allowed them to drink from the gold, because only the gold empire were held responsible for drinking from the gold goblets

Belshazzar make a serious mistake by treating the holy as unholy.WE too are holy vessels in the house of the Lord

2 Timothy 2:20-21

20 In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets-some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage.21 Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing.

Be a container that God can use to bless His guests.

Ephesians 1:1 I, Paul, am under God's plan as an apostle, a special agent of Christ Jesus, writing to you faithful Christians in Ephesus.2 I greet you with the grace and peace poured into our lives by God our Father and our Master, Jesus Christ. The God of Glory

Referring us as saints: The term saint is applied to anyone who believes Jesus Christ is Lord. We are saints. The word saint is : holy one… the holy one

Ephesians 1:4 Long before he laid down earth's foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love.

He chose us to be saints, to be holy. Both of these words and holy VS both come form the same lexical form Hagios meaning holy sacred separated from ordinary or common usage and devoted to God

Something holy has been brought into relationship with God and designated by Him as having a sacred purpose or special significance, marked as holy, classified as belonging to God… sacred, hallowed, consecrated

We are holy-separated from the ordinary, devoted to #AWE-GOD. We have a sacred purpose, a special significance- marked as holy-classified as belonging to God!

----------------

2 Cor

21 God affirms us, making us a sure thing in Christ, putting his Yes within us.22 By his Spirit he has stamped us with his eternal pledge-a sure beginning of what he is destined to complete.

He anointed us! The Lord knows those who are His. We have a very visible mark or seal upon us to the unseen world, those in the heavenlies see it. Our eternity has been secured in heaven this moment, there is no doubt, you are not almost anything, you are. There is a mark on us, it shows somehow in the unseen world. We too are Holy Vessels in the house of the Lord.

Can we accept, assimilate into our thinking. Do we understand we have been declare holy. God literally spoke out and declared us holy and set His name on our head. If we have been declared as holy, do we treat ourselves as such. We have been set apart for sacred service. God puts us out in the world to be set apart for holy sacred service. Nothing ordinary about us, wherever we are. Nothing is to satans greater advantage than to make sure we do not see ourselves this way as holy or as set apart. Satan cannot declare us un=holy but he can make us think like we are and then we act like it. We act like we feel. It is to his very great advantage that he convince us that we are defiled and there is nothing sacred about us.

Satan has no greater agenda than attempting to desecrate what God consecrates

His methods are many but one of his specialties is reflected in Dan 5:2-3

Daniel 5:2-3  Belshazzar, heady with the wine, ordered that the gold and silver chalices his father Nebuchadnezzar had stolen from God's Temple of Jerusalem be brought in so that he and his nobles, his wives and concubines, could drink from them. 3 When the gold and silver chalices were brought in, the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines, drank wine from them.

What Belshazzar did with the holy vessels from the temple of God is what satan wants to do with us. Nothing makes him happier than to use our vessels to toast an unholy cause. We will act out of what we are most deeply convinced of and he will convince us deceptively.

This is what the enemy wants to do with us, use our vessels to toast an unholy cause. satan has a will for our lives. If he can make us think we are common, not holy, if he can convince us of that, he knows he can use us to toast an unholy cause and act out of that which we are most convinced of. Satan uses all kinds of methods to use our vessels to toast an unholy cause: business, tax, finances, any way he can twist a servant into selfish ambition, relational, selfish ambition, any way that we act less than Who we are, this is the way he does it, to get the holy to act unholy or common.

Notice the inclusion of the wives and the concubines: this just did not "happen" protocol in that period of history did not have women taking part in these kind of things, the women were kept separate, this was part of Belshazzar plan to turn this Ester 1:9 Women kept separate, same era of time… inclusion was to add a sense of licentiousness in the revel, to turn it into disrespect towards God into a drunken orgy and disrespect God.

How can we be corrupted by Babylon, symbolically by the kind of culture that is around us. Defilement and corruption is just not sexual, if we brought it to the forefront to the top of our study, that is how we would have associated the whole idea of Babylon. How do we become godly influences in the culture we have been assigned to but right in the midst of a Babylon? Defiled! How do we do this with integrity and not be corrupted by what is surrounding- around us. What does it mean to be corrupted by something? Pride corrupts us! The selfish ambition to power and position corrupts us this is a way we are corrupted in our Babylon's. All sorts of examples of any way that we prioritize external beauty over beauty of character, our pursuit of image, building a golden image for ourselves, anyway we are not as we seem is image building. What Babylon surrounds us? This is a specialty of the devil doing everything we can to treat the holy as unholy as the temptation of sexual sin

1 Cor 6 we are told that sexual sin is against the body, it has the capacity for us to wear it almost as no other. The enemy knows that sexual sin has a sticking power to us, we take it on in our attitudes, the demeanor of shame. Nothing makes the enemy happier when he treats God's holy vessels in unholy ways through sexual sin, it has an impact, a staying power. He uses our vessels to toast an unholy cause and he is glad he has done it, and he thinks it is funny. Motive of heart. Whatever the enemy has gotten by with in your life, he is so happy he did that he used us, the people of God to toast an unholy cause. What are you planning to do with this? Will we let the enemy get away with it. Our culture is dramatically different from our grandparents and great grandparents. Life has changed dramatically in the last 100 years. What is satan up to in the culture we live in. The Bride is supposed to be making herself ready and the enemy is coming against our western culture with such an assault of sexual temptation, he is drastically shorting the distance between temptation and participation to keep our senses in a state of awakenings. If our sense are already awake through music, media and sexual images that hit us all throughout the day then the distance between temptation and participation is short. We are inundated with so much sexual stimulation by the time opportunity knocks we are already half way there in a state of awakeness. We are in a tremendous emergency situation because by the time opportunity comes we are half way to it and our guard is down because it is already on our minds. We have to wised up and get fortified. The pain of sexual sin is great because of the guilt and the shame that goes with it, we need to cease playing this game with satan. One of the ways we treat our holy vessels as unholy is with immodest dress. Dressing in an unholy fashion, we are used by the enemy to toast the gods of this world. We can be cute and modest, we can be influential in our home, workplaces and communities and do so with purity and holiness. We have been set apart to be holy. We act like what we dress ourselves to be. We dress on purpose.

God does not overlook satan's mistreatment of holy vessels any more than He overlooked Belshazzar's

Daniel 5: 5-12

At that very moment, the fingers of a human hand appeared and began writing on the lamp-illumined, whitewashed wall of the palace. When the king saw the disembodied hand writing away,6 he went white as a ghost, scared out of his wits. His legs went limp and his knees knocked.7 He yelled out for the enchanters, the fortunetellers, and the diviners to come. He told these Babylonian magi, "Anyone who can read this writing on the wall and tell me what it means will be famous and rich-purple robe, the great gold chain-and be third-in-command in the kingdom."

8 One after the other they tried, but could make no sense of it. They could neither read what was written nor interpret it to the king.9 So now the king was really frightened. All the blood drained from his face. The nobles were in a panic.

10 The queen heard of the hysteria among the king and his nobles and came to the banquet hall. She said, "Long live the king! Don't be upset. Don't sit around looking like ghosts.11 There is a man in your kingdom who is full of the divine Holy Spirit. During your father's time he was well known for his intellectual brilliance and spiritual wisdom. He was so good that your father, King Nebuchadnezzar, made him the head of all the magicians, enchanters, fortunetellers, and diviners.12 There was no one quite like him. He could do anything-interpret dreams, solve mysteries, explain puzzles. His name is Daniel, but he was renamed Belteshazzar by the king. Have Daniel called in. He'll tell you what is going on here."

The queen comes into the hall because she heard the screaming. She says: You need Daniel. Daniel was not active under this ruler. See how Daniel was said to solve difficult problems… the loosening of knots is what it meant in the Aramaic. Do you have a situation in a knot that you can't imagine getting out of. God can solve it.

25 and this is what is written: mene, teqel, and peres.26 This is what the words mean: "Mene: God has numbered the days of your rule and they don't add up.

27 "Teqel: You have been weighed on the scales and you don't weigh much.

28 "Peres: Your kingdom has been divided up and handed over to the Medes and Persians."

29 Belshazzar did what he had promised. He robed Daniel in purple, draped the great gold chain around his neck, and promoted him to third-in-charge in the kingdom.

30 That same night the Babylonian king Belshazzar was murdered.31 He was sixty-two years old. Darius the Mede succeeded him as king.

Given to the silver Kingdom… the arms of the statute, the two coming together… two kingdoms coming together against the Babylonian empire. The change of empires Oct 12 while they are having the banquet, Daniel is called in and tells them how the words applied to Belshazzar, Kingdom is divided given to the Medes and the Persians. You have been weighed on the scales of God and proclaimed wanting… That very night, the silver Kingdom outstretched its arms and took control of Babylon and Belshazzar was killed.

VS 30 is a critical point! That very night Darius the Mede took over and King Belshazzar was killed, change of empires.

Treating Holy As Unholy. Mene: The God has numbered the days of your reign- The GOD- I AM

Tequel I KNOW

Peres: I ACT Kingdom divided and given to Medes and Persians

Every time the enemy sees your head in the book of God, He sees the handwriting on the wall. The bible records, it records his own demise. Revelations 20 he remains forever in lake of burning file

God is, God knows, God acts.

2 Timothy 2:21 (New International Version)

21 Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.

Ezra records what happe3ns when Cyrus The Great comes in and he gives the decree that the captives get to go home. 50 thousand go to Jeresualme and start rebuilding the temple Exra and Nehemiah follow behind what happens

Cyrus Helps the Exiles to Return

1 In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the LORD spoken by Jeremiah, the LORD moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and also to put it in writing:

2 "This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: (Makes declaration- that the captives get to go home)

"'The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah. 3 Any of his people among you may go up to Jerusalem in Judah and build the temple of the LORD, the God of Israel, the God who is in Jerusalem, and may their God be with them. 4 And in any locality where survivors may now be living, the people are to provide them with silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with freewill offerings for the temple of God in Jerusalem.'"

5 Then the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and Levites—everyone whose heart God had moved—prepared to go up and build the house of the LORD in Jerusalem. 6 All their neighbors assisted them with articles of silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with valuable gifts, in addition to all the freewill offerings.

7 Moreover, King Cyrus brought out the articles belonging to the temple of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had carried away from Jerusalem and had placed in the temple of his god.[a] 8 Cyrus king of Persia had them brought by Mithredath the treasurer, who counted them out to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah. 9 This was the inventory: 9And they numbered: 30 basins of gold; 1,000 basins of silver; 29 sacrificial dishes; 10Of gold bowls, 30; another sort of silver bowl, 410; and other vessels, 1,000. 11All the vessels of gold and of silver were 5,400. All these Sheshbazzar [the governor] brought with the people of the captivity from Babylon to Jerusalem.

Footnotes:

  1. Ezra 1:1 Cyrus, a heathen ruler of a heathen empire (Persia), was "twice named [before his birth] in the book of Isaiah as anointed of God and predestined to conquer kings and fortified places and to set the Jews free from captivity (Isa. 44:28; 45:1-14). Daniel... records that during the night that followed a great feast, Belshazzar, the king of the Chaldeans, was slain, and Darius the Mede received the kingdom (Dan. 5:30, 31). Darius was the predecessor of Cyrus, or his regent, in Babylonia (Dan. 6:28)" (John D. Davis, A Dictionary of the Bible). God gave Cyrus the resolution and the desire to execute His intention. That the Lord at this time chose a heathen as His instrument was in accordance with the new position that the empires of the world were henceforth to assume toward the kingdom of God (J.P. Lange, A Commentary)

Ezra 8

28 I said to them, "You as well as these articles are consecrated to the LORD. The silver and gold are a freewill offering to the LORD, the God of your ancestors. 29 Guard them carefully until you weigh them out in the chambers of the house of the LORD in Jerusalem before the leading priests and the Levites and the family heads of Israel." 30 Then the priests and Levites received the silver and gold and sacred articles that had been weighed out to be taken to the house of our God in Jerusalem.

They were consecrated back to the Lord and then they were

Vessels treated as unholy can be treated as holy again.

Satan has gotten a lot of good laughs out of me, he took my holy vessel and used it to toast an unholy cause…. just as the vessels were returned above and declared holy and reconsecrated to God. Nothing the enemy has done to us has declared us as unholy. We corrupt and defile our temples in all sorts of ways but it is time we wise up to guard them carefully make a declaration of Who we are before God.

Ask God to help us take this seriously today, that it means to us today, that we heard we have been set apart make sacred, made uncommon , extraordinary give us eyes that will be opened to the enemy to never use us to toast unholy cause

I Kimberly Ann McCarthy belong to God. I am a holy vessel because I house the Holy Spirit of the living God! The Lord of heaven and earth has said over me, I declare you holy. Today I commit to start believing what He says. I am holy. Empower me daily spirit of the living God to treat myself as Holy. Open my eyes to everything scheme of the enemy to treat me as if I am not. You God are God, Your Word is Truth, this day Father I choose to believe You in Jesus name. AMEN! AMEN!

Worthy News Brief @worthyemail.com

Kimberly, don't procrastinate!

1 Chronicles 12:15 These are they that went over Jordan in the first month, when it had overflown all his banks; and they put to flight all them of the valleys, both toward the east, and toward the west.

Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

As we continue our study of the Mighty Men of David, another quality is worth pointing out -- they were not procrastinators. Notice that these men decided to cross the Jordan river when it was at flood stage! They didn't wait till the river receded, but rather, boldly crossed when it was the most dangerous!

And because of this boldness -- remember in our previous study they were described as mighty men whose faces were like the faces of lions with the swiftness of gazelles -- they crossed the river without fear or hesitation. Their boldness and courage set fear into the hearts of their enemies who trembled before the spirit of these men, and fled before them to the east and to the west!

Kimberly, in these last days the enemy of our souls would love to strike terror in our hearts, but there is only ONE whom we should fear, with a reverential and Holy fear -- our awesome Creator! Is there an obstacle before you today -- a "flooded river" that stands to stop your advance? Don't procrastinate if you know the Lord's will -- go boldly, press forward, without hesitation! He will go before you and strike fear in the hearts of your enemies!

Mark 8:36 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?

New International Version (NIV) Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica

Notes From Listening To Mark 8

They had nothing to eat and Jesus had compassion for them. The disciples were doubting how they could feed them. How many loaves do you have? 7… interesting 7 the perfect number. Jesus gave thanks for what He had and all the people ate and were satisfied, 4000 people… Jesus fed and there were 7 loaves left over. Jesus!

*My THOUGHTS: GODS THOUGHTS = My Learning=Heart Change*

Jesus had compassion. He knows what we are growing through. He cares. The disciples looked at the situation and not at WHO was with them. They voiced their human doubt before they beheld the supernatural answer. We need to flip-flop this in our lives, we must look to the One Who Can provide before we voice our human deficiency and our hopelessness. Jesus gave thanks for what He had. Interestingly so! What a truth here in this passage, something Jesus is modeling for us. I think it is a great idea to give thanks for what we have before looking at what we don't have. It is positioned in gratefulness for what has been provided already, that we come to Jesus for what we need. In gratefulness there is always provision and there is always more than enough. Gratefulness brings forth an abundance with many leftovers!

The Pharisees asked for a sign, Jesus signed why does this generation ask for a miraculous sign, no sign will be given to them. Jesus warned them watch out for the yeast of the Pharisees, the disciples did not really hear or understand what Jesus meant…. Do you have eyes but fail to see, ears but fail to hear. Don't you remember…. When I broke the 7 loaves how many basketfuls of pieces did you pick up…7 Do you still not understand. Jesus took the blind man by the hand and spit on his eyes, Jesus asked to you see anything, He saw people looking like trees and then Jesus put his hand on his eyes and he saw everything clearly… Don't go into the village Jesus said. Who do people say I am? John the Baptist and others say one of the prophets… but what about you, Who do you say I am? Peter answered, You are the Christ. Jesus warned them not to tell anyone about him. He taught them the son of man must suffer many things and be rejected, killed and after three days rise again. Peter took him aside and rebuked him and then he rebuked Peter get behind me satan, you do not have in mind the things of God but the things of men. If anyone comes after me, deny himself and take up his cross whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but if lose it for the gospel will save it. What can a man give in exchange for his soul. If you are ashamed of me and my words, I will be ashamed of you when I come in my Father's Glory with the holy angels.

What an amazing promise! Lose your life today in Christ and He will save it. Invest the all of God in your everything-God's Got It! Mark 8:36

Who Do I Say Jesus Is! He Is The Son Of AWE-GOD! He is the One I humbly-reverently-willessly submit to today!

charles spurgeon devotional

"For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth."

Amos 9:9

Every sifting comes by divine command and permission. Satan must ask leave before he can lay a finger upon Job. Nay, more, in some sense our siftings are directly the work of heaven, for the text says, "I will sift the house of Israel." Satan, like a drudge, may hold the sieve, hoping to destroy the corn; but the overruling hand of the Master is accomplishing the purity of the grain by the very process which the enemy intended to be destructive. Precious, but much sifted corn of the Lord's floor, be comforted by the blessed fact that the Lord directeth both flail and sieve to his own glory, and to thine eternal profit.

In the sieve true weight alone has power. Husks and chaff being devoid of substance must fly before the wind, and only solid corn will remain.

Observe the complete safety of the Lord's wheat; even the least grain has a promise of preservation. God himself sifts, and therefore it is stern and terrible work; he sifts them in all places, "among all nations"; he sifts them in the most effectual manner, "like as corn is sifted in a sieve"; and yet for all this, not the smallest, lightest, or most shriveled grain, is permitted to fall to the ground. Every individual believer is precious in the sight of the Lord, a shepherd would not lose one sheep, nor a jeweler one diamond, nor a mother one child, nor a man one limb of his body, nor will the Lord lose one of his redeemed people. However little we may be, if we are the Lord's, we may rejoice that we are preserved in Christ Jesus.
