********************************************************************************

Lord Jesus, I know I Kimberly Ann McCarthy am created for a time such as this, with Great Kingdom Purpose in me, that only I can fulfill. I hope huge to be all about Your purposes today.

Verse Of The Day@biblegateway.com

"Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments." - Deuteronomy 7:9

Notes From Listening To Deut Chapter 7:

When God brings you into the Land you are entering to possess and drives out the nations- 7 larger and stronger than you. The Lord will deliver them to you, do not align yourself to them… Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones, burn their idols in the fire. The Lord has chosen us to be his people, his treasured possession. God loves us, He kept the oath He swore to our forefathers, redeemed us from slavery. Know that the Lord is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations… those who hate them, He will destroy. Take care to follow the commandments of God, pay attention to them.

Battlefield Of The Mind By Joyce Meyer

Page 47 Doing The Word

James 1:22 But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth].23 For if anyone only listens to the Word without obeying it and being a doer of it, he is like a man who looks carefully at his [own] natural face in a mirror; 24 For he thoughtfully observes himself, and then goes off and promptly forgets what he was like. 25 But he who looks carefully into the faultless law, the [law] of liberty, and is faithful to it and perseveres in looking into it, being not a heedless listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he shall be blessed in his doing (his life of obedience).

Notes From Book

When Christians do not obey, their own human reasoning is the fault many times.

Sometimes people do not obey God's Word because it is not convenient for their lifestyle!

Notes From book "power thoughts" by joyce meyer

Chapter Two: Teach Your Mind To Work For You

"When it works for you, it helps you stay positive, reach your goals in life, and think the kind of thoughts that enable you to enjoy each day. When it works against you, it can make you negative and discouraged, hold you back from accomplishing what you want or need to do, and cause you to think the kinds of thoughts that result in self-sabatoge."

"The brain actually takes a full eighteen years to grow and it continues to mature until the day a person dies. Your brain is still maturing, so you can still mature in your thinking.

"In what way is your mind working against you?" Doubt- Self Doubt- I am not good enough."

"Your thinking can have a positive effect on your physical health."

"Positive attitude isn't just a state of mind, it also has linkages to what's going on in the brain and in the body." "Optimistic people live longer."

Expectations set you up to think positively.

SO BE IT IN ME!!!!

Don't allow the presence of giants to detract from the promises of God.

"Joshua and Caleb were the only two men who were positive in the face of opposition from the giants. They didn't ignore the challenges, but they did not over-emphasize them—and they were the only two who entered the promise land. The spies who died in the wilderness only saw what was and failed to see what could be. Their negative thinking produced defeatist attitudes…

In what specific situation do you need to believe God is greater than your difficulties?

Relationships with family - Mortgage- Finances- Loneliness

Flatworld attitude: an untrue statement that is believed based on hearsay, past experience or common knowledge

People sometimes are only positive about what they can do, and are pessimistic about other peoples ideas. Never let a pessimistic person talk you out of your dreams

Numbers 14:1 The bad attitudes of 10 men caused an entire nation to lose heart and doubt God's promises

"Learn to be aware of the way you think and the way you talk to people." So be it Lord Jesus!

Negative attitude=Negative response: This happens to me, when I have a negative attitude, I seem to be very impulsive and run forward without thinking-without God, being propelled by the negative and trying to fix things I can't fix.

Murphy's Law: Nothing is as easy as it looks; everything takes longer than you expect; and if anything can go wrong, it will—at the worst possible moment.

Embrace God's Law: If anything can go right, it will; nothing is as difficult as it appears; everything is more rewarding than it appears; everything is more rewarding than it appears; if anything good can happen to anybody, it will happen to me.

What is the most negative situations in your life? What can you say positive about them?

"Everything that goes wrong is intended against us as individuals is called "personalizing"

How can I stop "personalizing? Stop focusing on me and what I think I need from other people and focus more on God, putting my expectations in His hands, looking to Him to meet my needs in a supernatural way.

Life has some gray areas, some "in-betweens". Everything can't be perfect all the time. To stay upbeat about life, accept that you won't be perfect all the time, and neither will the people or things around you.

Free Through Suffering

"Thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress" (Ps. 4:1).

This is one of the grandest testimonies ever given by man to the moral government of God. It is not a man's thanksgiving that he has been set free from suffering. It is a thanksgiving that he has been set free through suffering: "Thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress." He declares the sorrows of life to have been themselves the source of life's enlargement. And have not you and I a thousand times felt this to be true? It is written of Joseph in the dungeon that "the iron entered into his soul." We all feel that what Joseph needed for his soul was just the iron. He had seen only the glitter of the gold. He had been rejoicing in youthful dreams; and dreaming hardens the heart. He who sheds tears over a romance will not be most apt to help reality; real sorrow will be too unpoetic for him. We need the iron to enlarge our nature. The gold is but a vision; the iron is an experience. The chain which unites me to humanity must be an iron chain. That touch of nature which makes the world akin is not joy, but sorrow; gold is partial, but iron is universal.

My soul, if thou wouldst be enlarged into human sympathy, thou must be narrowed into limits of human suffering. Joseph's dungeon is the road to Joseph's throne. Thou canst not lift the iron load of thy brother if the iron hath not entered into thee. It is thy limit that is thine enlargement. It is the shadows of thy life that are the real fulfillment of thy dreams of glory. Murmur not at the shadows; they are better revelations than thy dreams. Say not that the shades of the prison-house have fettered thee; thy fetters are wings -- wings of flight into the bosom of humanity. The door of thy prison-house is a door into the heart of the universe. God has enlarged thee by the binding of sorrow's chain.

--George Matheson

My Thoughts About This:

I love how He puts it… iron is an experience. We need iron to enlarge our nature. I have found that the trials I have been growing through have humbled my nature and enlarged my character in Christ likeness. God does enlarge us when we are in distress, but it is not about us, it is about His power and strength flowing through us. He can, He will, He does! AWE-GOD!

Affection and Acceptance

"Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:13-14

Jesus was tender and tough. He took the time to love on little children, but He was also bold to confront greed in the face of businessmen using God for their personal gain. However, most of the time Jesus modeled affection toward those who could or could not reciprocate—and acceptance toward those who had experienced rejection. He graciously extended both.

Do you daily receive the affection and acceptance of Almighty God? Have you begun to comprehend the depth and breadth of His magnificent love? Oh, what a Savior and lover of your soul! A close friend may give you a cold shoulder, but Jesus warmly embraces your cares and concerns. Perhaps a fellow Christian rejected you for your indiscretions, but Jesus accepts you despite your failures and lifts you up to walk faithfully with Him.

"Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" "No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin" (John 8:10-11).

Acceptance is a magnet for those feeling isolated and misunderstood. It is a remedy for realized or unrealized rejection. Your spouse, caught up in their own concerns, can communicate insensitivity and lack of intimacy. It's when you feel this relational distance that you turn to Christ and enjoy His closeness. Only Jesus provides acceptance all the time. His approval gives you confidence to go forward by grace through faith.

Affection is a tender touch, an empathetic ear, a compassionate conversation and a patient prayer. It looks beyond the ugliness of sin and the harshness of humanity—and engages the heart. Affection is not concerned about getting—but it is consumed with giving. An affectionate heart cannot not wait to love those whom others dismiss or discount.

Who in your life needs your affection and acceptance? Does your child feel your support and sensitivity? Do you honor your distant parents with love and respect? What about friends and family, who are consumed with their own concerns—do you invite them into your life to experience your family's joy and the compassion of Christ? Reach out to those who others have rejected and watch the Lord do a work of redeeming love.

"Very truly I tell you, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me" (John 13:20).

How does Christ accept me and show His affection? Who can I serve in the same way?

My Thoughts About This:

This is so true. We can't put our expectations in people, they cannot meet our needs. Our true acceptance comes infinitely from our God. He is the only One Who knows us most and best and accepts us unconditionally. Many times I looked to my husband to meet all my needs, only to be disappointed and hurt. Now I look to God and I find Him an Omnipresent reality of acceptance, love and support at all times, He is faithful!

******Ramah From God******

Ramah Word! Selah …pause, and calmly think of this :

Isaiah 59:19

So [as the result of the Messiah's intervention] they shall [reverently] fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight [for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives].

Amplified Bible

A Minute With Maxwell

Endurance! Keep on keeping on! Encouragement to endure, be steadfast, stay focused, do not quit. We don't lack potential, we lack endurance. The prize of success goes to the person who understands that being consistent in behavior or action they will arrive. We don't often hear people say: here goes an enduring person. If you take endurance out of the life of a person, they will never succeed. If we endure and stay steadfast, the prize will someday be ours.

charles spurgeon devotional

"Sin ... exceeding sinful." - Romans 7:13

Beware of light thoughts of sin. At the time of conversion, the conscience is so tender, that we are afraid of the slightest sin. Young converts have a holy timidity, a godly fear lest they should offend against God. But alas! very soon the fine bloom upon these first ripe fruits is removed by the rough handling of the surrounding world: the sensitive plant of young piety turns into a willow in after life, too pliant, too easily yielding. It is sadly true, that even a Christian may grow by degrees so callous, that the sin which once startled him does not alarm him in the least. By degrees men get familiar with sin. The ear in which the cannon has been booming will not notice slight sounds. At first a little sin startles us; but soon we say, "Is it not a little one?" Then there comes another, larger, and then another, until by degrees we begin to regard sin as but a little ill; and then follows an unholy presumption: "We have not fallen into open sin. True, we tripped a little, but we stood upright in the main. We may have uttered one unholy word, but as for the most of our conversation, it has been consistent." So we palliate sin; we throw a cloak over it; we call it by dainty names. Christian, beware how thou thinkest lightly of sin. Take heed lest thou fall by little and little. Sin, a little thing? Is it not a poison? Who knows its deadliness? Sin, a little thing? Do not the little foxes spoil the grapes? Doth not the tiny coral insect build a rock which wrecks a navy? Do not little strokes fell lofty oaks? Will not continual droppings wear away stones? Sin, a little thing? It girded the Redeemer's head with thorns, and pierced his heart! It made him suffer anguish, bitterness, and woe. Could you weigh the least sin in the scales of eternity, you would fly from it as from a serpent, and abhor the least appearance of evil. Look upon all sin as that which crucified the Saviour, and you will see it to be "exceeding sinful."

God Will Make A Way! AWE-GOD!

Romans 9 ~ The Message Bible 23 I'll call nobodies and make them somebodies; I'll call the unloved and make them beloved. In the place where they yelled out, "You're nobody!" they're calling you "God's living children."

My Thoughts About These Verses:

God will make a way! He is my Way-Maker! It is just crazy the amount of attacks the enemy has leveled against me this week to try to keep me offline. My ministry for God right now is online, He has me online 24/7 speaking His exhortations, His truth, His Way. My desktop computer the other day just turned off as I was working on it, went completely dead. Can't get it started back up, no power at all to it. Then my internet started to go crazy, would not stay on, very intermittent, I could not do anything online, so they said I needed a new modem, that came in yesterday but it still has not helped, the internet is on and off again… then last night my lap top just froze up, I could not get it started again. I was then computerless… very interesting. I felt like it was a test that God was allowing, to see if I was going to get upset, whine and try to fix things myself. I turned to God, I asked Him for help and today my lap top is working, it has a flicker to it, but it is working… I know God did it. I know He helped me fight this attack. So I am waiting on Him… if I stay online, it will be all Jesus! I can't fix it. I have no money to fix computers right now, so I can't light my own fire if I wanted too. I am learning to trust God, learning a completely. I hope I pass this test…. Giving God the time He needs to work these things out because He is My Way Maker…. He will make a way for me!
