AWE- ALMIGHTY GOD!
Make My Life Excellent In You-Constant In Your Courage!
Tuesday, August 2nd 2011
I, Kimberly Ann McCarthy will diligently pursue You, Father God, this day as my constant connection, conversation and courage. Be my excellence today Lord Jesus, moment to choice I hope huge to step out in Your right living by Your Truth. Followship will be my heart's desire as I purposefully and diligently pursue Your Kingdom plan-purposes and deny my selfishness.
Isn't it nice to know that no matter where we go, we don't need to give God our forwarding address. He will always find us as long as we pursue Him. We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps. Proverbs 16:9
Proverbs 16:3
Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.

Bride, will you chose to let go of your preconceived plans and your personal agendas and find the newness of My presence, My love and My truth in every situation you encounter?

Verse Of The Day@biblegateway.com
James 1:21-23
So get rid of all uncleanness and the rampant outgrowth of wickedness, and in a humble (gentle, modest) spirit receive and welcome the Word which implanted and rooted [in your hearts] contains the power to save your souls. 22 But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth]. 23
For if anyone only listens to the Word without obeying it and being a doer of it, he is like a man who looks carefully at his [own] natural face in a mirror;

Notes From Listening To James 1:
James a servant of God… Consider it joy when you face trials of many kinds… testing develops perseverance and perseverance must finish its work unto maturity. Ask God if you need wisdom and don't doubt, don't' be double minded because you will not receive anything. Life is short, even riches will fade away… blessed is the man who perseveres under trial because he will receive a kingdom treasure. You are tempted by your own evil desire… enticed and desires conceived are sin and sin full grown gives birth to death. Every good thing is from God, and He does not change like shifting shadows… we are His 1st fruits by His seeding of the truth in us. Be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to get angry, get rid of all moral filth and humbly accept the Word of God planted in you, it will save you. Do what the word says, listen and do it… You will forget your image if you do not look into the Word, look at the Word and do it… Religious no tight reign on your tongue, you are not religious. Look after others in their distress and keep from being polluted by the world.
My Thoughts About This Verse:
I know it has been my hearts desire to grow up in God, to mature and from this verse I realize that I must persevere through all trials and tests, because it is in clinging tighter to God and digging my roots deeper in His Kingdom that I will grow up and mature like I have wanted. I will be tempted by my own desires, my fleshly desires, yet the Word and Wisdom of God will flesh out all evil wants in me. God is good and this is a truth that needs to be plastered in my heart while I grow through this life. I must learn to be quick to listen to God and slow to speak and get angry while I am persevering and growing through this life. God has planted the seed of His Word in my heart and it is growing and it gets watered daily by my humility and acceptance-submission to the wisdom of His Truth. Looking in the Word everyday is a constant reminder of the image of God that I need to mirror. The Bible is my mirror, my choice to walk in the Word is God's character reflecting out of my life.

Kimberly, crisis ahead!
Galatians 6:9-10 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
As we've been watching the news recently, it seems the word of the hour is crisis! It seems everywhere we turn we hear it -- it's a "financial crisis", a "political crisis" -- international, environmental, spiritual crisis!
I came across an interesting fact recently. The Chinese word for crisis is composed of two symbols. They represent two words: danger and opportunity. Hmm. I like that.
When we're in the midst of all these crises, it's tempting to focus on the danger. While it's important to be aware of the danger, we must be even more keenly aware of the opportunities it brings!
Kimberly, God is allowing this world to be shaken a little today. Let's prepare ourselves to be a means of peace and light and strength to those who are afraid. Let's not grow weary in well doing – there's so much work to be done!

A Minute With Maxwell
Heritage! http://johnmaxwellteam.com/heritage/
A heritage is a great work because it speaks, talks and remembers the greatness of our past. In our fast pace life as we run hard, we forget to recognize that it is impossible to stretch and reach for the future if we have not touched the past. The past gives us the security to make the stretch for tomorrow.
*My THOUGHTS: GODS THOUGHTS = My Learning=Heart Change*
This is very freeing for me as I begin a new season of my life. Sometimes I "feel" my past holds a lot of failure and weakness displays, yet I know because Christ is in me that my past failures have been transformed into really good script, as the wisdom I gained from the experiences I have had is my testimony of God's glory. I need to stop looking at my past with the perception of failure and weakness and start looking at it as the heavenly hindsight of a Saviors transforming love and power. Then the stretch of my heritage to the Kingdom purpose in my future, will be full of positive power and promise in my AWE-GOD! My past perspective is having an attitude adjustment! Thank you!

Endure! God's Love Did! Will Mine?
Endure With God: Tolerate- Bear- Undergo- Suffer- Last- Continue- Go On!
My person agendas and plans for my life was a constant condition for my love of Jesus. My will kept me from a completely, from being completely-constantly in love with Jesus.
When things do not go my way and my plans suddenly change, in that moment I have a choice to make. Will it affect my love-relationship, my trust of my Lord Jesus?
Do I waver in my relationship with Jesus? Am I in and out of love with Jesus according to my personal circumstances? Ouch! This question digs deeply in my soul.
Proverbs 3:11-18
My son, do not despise or shrink from the chastening of the Lord [His correction by punishment or by subjection to suffering or trial]; neither be weary of or impatient about or loathe or abhor His reproof,(A) 12For whom the Lord loves He corrects, even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights. 13Happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable) is the man who finds skillful and godly Wisdom, and the man who gets understanding [drawing it forth from God's Word and life's experiences], 14For the gaining of it is better than the gaining of silver, and the profit of it better than fine gold. 15Skillful and godly [a]Wisdom is more precious than rubies; and nothing you can wish for is to be compared to her.(B) 16Length of days is in her right hand, and in her left hand are riches and honor.(C) 17Her ways are highways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. 18She is a tree of life to those who lay hold on her; and happy (blessed, fortunate, to be envied) is everyone who holds her fast.

My Thoughts About This Verse:
God's Wisdom is a constant prop for His love. God's Wisdom-Truth supports His Love, wisdom holds love up through the trials and tests of life, keeping it steady, constant and sure.
The Bible draws us to God, it is God's Divine Word of appeal, it is the only position of permanence we will have in this world.
The Truth of God draws us to Himself, and this is His Divine Word of appeal, it is the only position of permanence we will have in this world.
God's Wisdom Is A Divine Word Of Appeal! The Lord makes a Godly Appeal to us with His Truth. God requests-pleads and He demands-petitions us with His Truth, knowing that His Truth is the very thing that keeps His love, props up His love in our heart and creates a desire a hope to know God more, putting a passion in our relationship with Him.
God's Word, His Powerful Truth, can change my mind and attitudes to thoughts driven by His Kingdom and attitudes painted by His Divine Character.

Job 28:12-18
But where shall [a]Wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding? 13Man knows not the price of it; neither is it found in the land of the living. 14The deep says, [Wisdom] is not in me; and the sea says, It is not with me. 15It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price of it. 16It cannot be valued in [terms of] the gold of Ophir, in the precious onyx or beryl, or the sapphire. 17Gold and glass cannot equal [Wisdom], nor can it be exchanged for jewels or vessels of fine gold. 18No mention shall be made of coral or of crystal; for the possession of Wisdom is even above rubies or pearls.

Proverbs 8:12-21
I, Wisdom [from God], make prudence my dwelling, and I find out knowledge and discretion. 13The reverent fear and worshipful awe of the Lord [includes] the hatred of evil; pride, arrogance, the evil way, and perverted and twisted speech I hate. 14I have counsel and sound knowledge, I have understanding, I have might and power. 15By me kings reign and rulers decree justice. 16By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges and governors of the earth. 17I love those who love me, and those who seek me early and diligently shall find me. 18Riches and honor are with me, enduring wealth and righteousness (uprightness in every area and relation, and right standing with God). 19My fruit is better than gold, yes, than refined gold, and my increase than choice silver. 20I [Wisdom] walk in the way of righteousness (moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation), in the midst of the paths of justice, 21That I may cause those who love me to inherit [true] riches and that I may fill their treasuries.

For physical training is of some value (useful for a little), but godliness (spiritual training) is useful and of value in everything and in every way, for it holds promise for the present life and also for the life which is to come.

My Thoughts About This Verse:
This verse is a real eye-opener for me because I realize that God's Wisdom does hold a lot of promise for this life, but I have not really taken in the last part of this verse, that shows me as I gain the wisdom of God and practice it through my life-experiences, and as I am shaped in character by it, it is not only for now, it is for my forever. The wisdom of God is eternal, it is not just for this world and as I apply it, learn it and my spirit is shaped by it, it is not just for now, it has Kingdom consequence.
2 Kings 20:5 Thus Says The Lord, The God Of David Your [Forefather]:
I Have Heard Your Prayer. I Have Seen Your Tears; Behold, I Will Heal You!
God Will Heal You!
Lord, hear the heart's desire of my sweet sister in Christ. Jesus, hold her in Your Sovereign Will tomorrow. Jesus be the hands and wisdom of her surgeon. I pray You guide this surgeon by Your Holy Spirit. Father be in complete control of this surgery tomorrow and by Your Holy Spirit, work the miracle of Your healing. I pray for Your Omnipresent-Omnipotence to undergird Rebecca tomorrow as she sits in Your Mighty Powerful Right Hand during this surgery. Jesus hear this prayer from my heart for my precious sister Rebecca! AMEN!

If we have not quiet in our minds, outward comfort will do no more for us than a golden slipper on a gouty foot. Quote By John Bunyan

Attitude Adjustment
"For seven days they celebrated with joy the Feast of Unleavened Bread, because the Lord had filled them with joy by changing the attitude of the king of Assyria, so that he assisted them in the work on the house of God, the God of Israel. Ezra 6:22
Attitude is everything; it can lift you up or bring you down. It is a barometer of your heart. If your heart is not right, your attitude will suffer. Attitude is critical because it influences your course of action. If your attitude is negative, then your words and your behavior will be too. There is a difference in being a realist about negative circumstances, and living with a chronic bad attitude. Naïve are those who ignore warning signs of trouble, and carry on, oblivious to the storm clouds of sin.
However, your attitude is rooted in who you are in Christ, so there is no need to be fearful, guilty, or insecure. The attitude that Jesus exhibited was one of humility and servant leadership. His attitude reflected submission to His heavenly Father, which resulted in service, generosity, and love for people. Jesus was joyful and hopeful, because He rested in the will of God. Do not allow others' bad attitude to influence yours. Be the attitude influencer instead. Greet a frown with a smile, crush criticism with affirmation, and listen patiently until fury loses its steam.
A positive attitude will eventually outlast and overpower a negative one. Most of all, pray for those who thrive on negativity. Pray for them to be set free from their hurt, anger, guilt, and insecurity. God has you in their lives to reflect the Almighty and to encourage an attitude adjustment through Him.
God is the genesis of a right attitude, and He is the right attitude sustainer. He wants His attitude to be our attitude. This is why you need a daily attitude alignment from your heavenly Father. Each day, your attitude gets knocked around and abused by life. If left unattended, your attitude will drift into wrong thinking, harsh words, and bad behavior. Self-pity and anger can begin to replace selflessness and forgiveness. With just a little bit of daily tweaking, your attitude stays in line with His. It is subtle, but sometimes attitudes need to be adjusted moment by moment.
Lastly, slow down and pray when you feel your attitude eroding. When you're in the midst of a bad attitude, don't make important decisions; the time isn't right for that. You will regret every decision you make during a time of emotional upheaval. Be patient, and wait until your anger has subsided, your heart is cleansed, and your attitude is objective.
Almighty God is into attitudes that trust Him and which reaches out to others with compassion and understanding. Open-minded and reasonable attitudes lead to rich and robust relationships. Anyone can be negative; so don't just be anyone, be different. Allow God to shape your attitude on the anvil of His heart. An attitude molded by God is infectious and transforming. Allow Him to change your attitude, and then trust Him to change another's.
The Bible says, "Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus…" (Philippians 2:5).
charles spurgeon devotional
"Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn."
Ruth 2:2
Downcast and troubled Christian, come and glean today in the broad field of promise. Here are abundance of precious promises, which exactly meet thy wants. Take this one: "He will not break the bruised reed, nor quench the smoking flax." Doth not that suit thy case? A reed, helpless, insignificant, and weak, a bruised reed, out of which no music can come; weaker than weakness itself; a reed, and that reed bruised, yet, he will not break thee; but on the contrary, will restore and strengthen thee. Thou art like the smoking flax: no light, no warmth, can come from thee; but he will not quench thee; he will blow with his sweet breath of mercy till he fans thee to a flame. Wouldst thou glean another ear? "Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." What soft words! Thy heart is tender, and the Master knows it, and therefore he speaketh so gently to thee. Wilt thou not obey him, and come to him even now? Take another ear of corn: "Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel." How canst thou fear with such a wonderful assurance as this? Thou mayest gather ten thousand such golden ears as these! "I have blotted out thy sins like a cloud, and like a thick cloud thy transgressions." Or this, "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Or this, "The Spirit and the Bride say, Come, and let him that is athirst come, and whosoever will let him take the water of life freely." Our Master's field is very rich; behold the handfuls. See, there they lie before thee, poor timid believer! Gather them up, make them thine own, for Jesus bids thee take them. Be not afraid, only believe! Grasp these sweet promises, thresh them out by meditation and feed on them with joy.
