AWE- ALMIGHTY GOD!
Make My Life Excellent In You-Constant In Your Courage
Hebrews 1:3 Jesus Is…
He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the [c]out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God's] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power.
A sustainable lifestyle happens in community with other followers of Jesus. Faith comes alive when it is exercised in the presence of other people who love the Lord. You feel support, love, compassion, prayers and wisdom from the Body of Christ. The Lord is your help and His people are His helpers. A sustainable lifestyle comes from Christ. McCARTHY FAMILY PRAYER
Ephesians 3: 14-21 Draw Us (BOB, KIM, BRAD, BONNIE, KIELE, RYANNE, CHRIS, SUMMER, NOAH, KENNETH, TINA) To You That We Might Walk With You This Day And Forever!
It was so good to be together over Labor Day! I had a really good time with you all, I hope you did too! Today, the Lord is showing me that as a family, we can have a faith that sustains us personally and sustains us together as a family! I pray for that! I hope for that for us. If we strive to stay connected to Jesus heart-to-heart and connected to each other, getting our encouragement from our relationship with Jesus and then sharing it with each other, then our family will be strong in the love and truth of God. I love the above scripture because I totally realize it is God that is upholding us maintaining our provision and guiding us by His Power and His Mighty Strength! God's Got This!
I pray that we (BOB, KIM, BRAD, BONNIE, KIELE, RYANNE, CHRIS, SUMMER, NOAH, Baby M, KENNETH, TINA, Baby D) will be blessed by God this week as He upholds our families in His sustainable provision. I pray we (BOB, KIM, BRAD, BONNIE, KIELE, RYANNE, CHRIS, SUMMER, NOAH, Baby M, KENNETH, TINA, Baby D) will be a family that pursues You 1st and our faith will spur a trust action that lets You, Lord God work, giving You the time you need to design and create the perfect us in our families, the perfect situations in our lives. Jesus!
Excerpts-Thoughts From The Bridegroom's Voice
******Day ONE… #1 Of Week Three…. Day One……#3 Week******
Monday, Sept 12, 2011 My Thoughts: From The Bridegroom's Voice Week 3
- What I listen to matters and how much of God's Word I take in should far exceed how much of the world's communication I listen too.
- Discontentment and dissatisfaction are surely signs of something deeper within that needs to be taken care of. Quite possible pride working from the inside out looks like these two ugly attitudes!
1 Corinthians 1: 17-31
For Christ (the Messiah) sent me out not to baptize but [to evangelize by] preaching the glad tidings (the Gospel), and that not with verbal eloquence, lest the cross of Christ should be deprived of force and emptied of its power and rendered vain (fruitless, void of value, and of no effect). 18 For the story and message of the cross is sheer absurdity and folly to those who are perishing and on their way to perdition, but to us who are being saved it is the [manifestation of] the power of God. 19 For it is written, I will baffle and render useless and destroy the learning of the learned and the philosophy of the philosophers and the cleverness of the clever and the discernment of the discerning; I will frustrate and nullify [them] and bring [them] to nothing. 20 Where is the wise man (the philosopher)? Where is the scribe (the scholar)? Where is the investigator (the logician, the debater) of this present time and age? Has not God shown up the nonsense and the folly of this world's wisdom? 21 For when the world with all its earthly wisdom failed to perceive and recognize and know God by means of its own philosophy, God in His wisdom was pleased through the foolishness of preaching [salvation, procured by Christ and to be had through Him], to save those who believed (who clung to and trusted in and relied on Him). 22 For while Jews [demandingly] ask for signs and miracles and Greeks pursue philosophy and wisdom, 23 We preach Christ (the Messiah) crucified, [preaching which] to the Jews is a scandal and an offensive stumbling block [that springs a snare or trap], and to the Gentiles it is absurd and utterly unphilosophical nonsense. 24 But to those who are called, whether Jew or Greek (Gentile), Christ [is] the Power of God and the Wisdom of God. 2 5[This is] because the foolish thing [that has its source in] God is wiser than men, and the weak thing [that springs] from God is stronger than men. 26 For [simply] consider your own call, brethren; not many [of you were considered to be] wise according to human estimates and standards, not many influential and powerful, not many of high and noble birth. 27 [No] for God selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is foolish to put the wise to shame, and what the world calls weak to put the strong to shame. 28 And God also selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is lowborn and insignificant and branded and treated with contempt, even the things that are nothing, that He might depose and bring to nothing the things that are, 29 So that no mortal man should [have pretense for glorying and] boast in the presence of God. 30 But it is from Him that you have your life in Christ Jesus, Whom God made our Wisdom from God, [revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden, manifesting itself as] our Righteousness [thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God], and our Consecration [making us pure and holy], and our Redemption [providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin]. 31 So then, as it is written, Let him who boasts and proudly rejoices and glories, boast and proudly rejoice and glory in the Lord.

My Thoughts About This Verse:
- Chasing after "worldly wisdom" is not going to lead us to inner peace, but will scramble up our minds with so much confusion.
- Worldly wisdom is not stable, it changes with the tides of cultural politics and it won't bring peace. When you think you are finally in "the know" the tide goes out.
- We can never rest peacefully in clever wisdom, because spite likes to unseat each other and those who boast in their wisdom will fall.
- Worldly wisdom is never peaceful, it has the tendency to bounce on and off the pedestal it is lifted up on, jostled about by spite and jealousy.
- Peace is right standing with God and this righteousness comes from God's pure and holy wisdom, a Kingdom wisdom that is not affected by the carnality of the human nature. It is stable, peaceful truth.
- Holiness and purity of heart, thought and mind always are accompanied by the peace of God. You can count on it!
- Worldly foolishness fizzles out in insignificance- God's wisdom is held in place by inner peace-exceeding all perception.
Verse Of The Day@biblegateway.com
"[Final Exhortations] Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!" Philippians 4:4 NIV
Notes from listening to Philippians Chapter 4:
You Whom I love and long for, my joy and crown! Agree with each other in the Lord. Help each other who contend at God's side. Rejoice always! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Don't be anxious- pray about everything with Thanksgiving. God's peace will guard my heart, my mind. Whatever is true, right, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, think on these things. Whatever you have learn from God, put it into practice. God of peace will be with us as we live right. Rejoice in the Lord when others encourage you with concern. Learn to be content with whatever God puts in your life. Learn the secret of being content in everything it is Jesus, Jesus who gives you strength in the all of your everything. Send others aid when they are in need, do what you can to encourage them. Be a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice pleasing unto God. To God be glory forever. Greet all the saints in Christ Jesus with : The Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with Your Spirit.

Romans 8 ~ The Message Bible
37Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us. 38For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, 39Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

A Seasoned Servant Of God Has Encouraged Me Today
Pastor Elliott
Romans 8:16-17
16 The Spirit Himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God's children, 17 and if children, also heirs— heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ - seeing that we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
Dear Bob and Kim,
It amazed me in a new way this morning when I opened my Bible to this passage. It amazed me to realize that, as believers in God's Son, we are to be heirs of God and co-heirs with Jesus Christ our LORD. This is an honor greater than any man could possibly bestow upon us. Co-heirs will share with Him in the glory and abundance of heaven. But it also means we will share in His earthly suffering. We will know shame, disappointment and many of the discouragements of this life. The hurt of betrayal will be normal for those that love God. The enemy hates you for your relationship with Jesus. It is his job to steal, kill and destroy. AND you are the target of his vengeance.
Satan's fate is sealed. Messiah conquered him when He came forth from the grave. Your reward is still before you. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. You have been redeemed from the debt of sin and the law. Your eternity is sealed with Jesus. Let all heaven and earth know today that you, Bob and Kim are an heir of God with all the benefits and strength of that relationship to get you through this life and into the next.
Don't forget this. Because our goal, our purpose for living, is to glorify God and to be glorified with Him one day. Pastor Elliott
My Thoughts About This:
Thanks that was great! This time of year when we reflect on 9/11 I like to say to people: Always Remember! Because the Taliban could not steal, kill or destroy the American Spirit. Why? Because the American Spirit is Jesus Christ in us and through us! Our AWE-GOD is always being, no one and nothing can stop Him from being. So it is our wise choice to constantly take an "Omnipresent Reality Check" to make sure our heart connection with Jesus is tight and we are in a Holy Alignment with His life, word and way. What a powerful Holy Alliance we have with Jesus and He is always and forever for us. Jesus! His Name is our strength to press on, to "grow through" this precious life He gives us with the privilege we have to share in His Kingdom message and His sufferings! AWE-GOD!

A Sustainable Lifestyle By Bill Boyd
"Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me." Psalm 54:4
A lifestyle is sustainable when the Lord is the sustainer. Behind every sustainable life is dependence on a Savior: to help in time of need—to provide calm in a crisis—to give perspective when feeling pressure and to slow down someone who is way to busy. The grace of God gives sustainability to a life paced by prayer and energized by faith in Jesus.
Are you involved in so many good initiatives, only to find yourself unable to keep up with your commitments? Is your pace of life without margin—unable to really invest in those who need you the most? Indeed, it is extremely important to take periodic audits of our pace of life and make sure we make room for real relational investments. A life is unsustainable, if it is always darting from one good deed to the next with no down time.
"Sustain me, my God, according to your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed" (Psalm 119:116).
Sometimes it takes a restoration of joy in following Jesus to realign our hearts in rest with Him. Joyless living is drudgery and only contributes to fatigue and exhaustion. However, the Lord upholds His own—by His presence and the wisdom of His word. He is ever present to energize a seeking soul with His solace of strength, peace and perseverance.
Like a wilderness hiker without a backpack of supplies and no compass—is a life that wanders around without the sustenance of Scripture and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. A sustainable life has Almighty God as its architect and belief in Jesus as its builder. He sustains those who regularly seek Him with a pure heart and a teachable mind. He helps the humble and lifts up those who worship Him in Spirit and in truth.
"The LORD sustains the humble but casts the wicked to the ground" (Psalm 147:6).
Are you old? The Lord is your sustainer in your later years. Are you sick? Your Savior Jesus sustains you on your sick bed. Are you an orphan? You are not outcast, but a precious child of your Heavenly Father. Are you a widow or widower? You are not alone, but loved by the Lord. Are you in a new country, away from home? Jesus is trustworthy in your transition. Are you afraid? Christ is a prayer away to provide comfort and care.
Lastly, a sustainable lifestyle happens in community with other followers of Jesus. Faith comes alive when it is exercised in the presence of other people who love the Lord. You feel support, love, compassion, prayers and wisdom from the Body of Christ. The Lord is your help and His people are His helpers. A sustainable lifestyle comes from Christ.
"The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word" (Hebrews 1:3a).
How can I sustain my lifestyle in the power of the Spirit and not in my own strength?

*My THOUGHTS: GODS THOUGHTS = My Learning=Heart Change*
Religion and Religiosity never sustained me. It just wasn't enough to hold me through the good and the bad times of this life. Sometimes life is hard, harder than I could have imagined and things happen that we would never have planned for, yet Jesus is simply-significantly enough. To have a sustainable Christianity, I must stay aligned with Jesus. Omnipresent Reality Check! Am In a Holy Alliance – Aligned Heart To Heart With Jesus! Just Get There! Now! So Be It!

Money
Money is a wonderful thing, but not the main thing. Two positive things: gives you options and opportunity to help people. Value options=value money because of what it gives you. Money gives you options to pass on to others. The joy of giving is greater than the way of receiving.
*My THOUGHTS: GODS THOUGHTS = My Learning=Heart Change*
I have never thought about money that way, that it gives you better options. I guess because my greatest option is Jesus and I am content with the provision He brings into my life. So that was a very interesting thought. I always have viewed money as something to use to bless others and to invest into the Kingdom. I have never wanted it, unless to give it away and gift others in need. Money also to me is the hand of God's provision for my needs. He takes really good care of me. I am grateful for everything I have from His Hands. What money I have, I have in hand, from God's hand of provision and because it is His, I don't hold on to it very long, I place it where He points.
