God Created Our Environment – He Takes Care Of It!
If we live in part of the world that prevents the public worship of Jesus Christ, then our faith is enclosed, but not any less fervent. The bond of Christian Community is critical in an overall atheistic environment. Above all else, God blesses environments that encourage engagement with HIM. Trust God to lead you to the places that value what He values. Furthermore, you take the lead by creating environments of encouragement. Ask God to give you the discernment to love those in your sphere of influence. Control your environment by creating your environment. The Holy Spirit working through you, creates compelling places that invite others to Christ. The ultimate environment is one that is Christ centric. Therefore, look to the Lord. Trust Him. Expose yourself to healthy environments. And, by God's grace, create environments that honor Christ. Care about environmental controls. Create environments that create character.

Genesis 23-24
- The Lord had blessed Abraham in everyway… I love that.. our God is great!
- Abraham was so concerned for Isaac that he would marry within the faith of the Covenant of God, within the bloodline of God. He sent His servant to find a woman for Isaac, kind of the way it was in the beginning where God made the perfect woman for Adam. God led the servant to Rebekah by way of divine providence. Very cool! God was keeping the bloodline pure for Jesus to be born out of it. God had a plan, He stuck to it, He used human beings.
- God guided him right to where Abraham wanted him to be and He blessed God, He was grateful to God, He had a heart of worship. He recognized God's hand and He thanked Him. This is my 2012 hope for me, to learn a heart of worship, to have my worship awakened by the Holy Spirit, my gratitude to flow out in 2012.
- God is a Kinsman Redeemer and He led the servant by His Spirit to find Rebekah for Isaac to carry on the blood line of the Redeemer.
- Rebekah's father gave her over to the servant, he recognized God's Sovereign Plan… let it be so in us in 2012, help us to recognize God's plan and give ourselves over to it.
- Amazing Blessing They Gave Her In Her Obedience To Go Where God Had Called Her:
- "May you, our sister, Become thousands of ten thousands, And may your descendants possess The gate of those who hate them."
- Gods' timing in bringing Rebekah to Isaac was also not only miraculous in keeping the blood line intact, but also He thought of Isaac's grief in losing his mother and giving him Rebekah at this time really comforted him.
- I love to see how God weaved his miraculous plan all throughout the ages, He is truly in control. Selah!

James a servant of God, of the Lord Jesus… Consider it pure joy… PURE… when you face trials… We won't lack in anything if we ask God for it. We must believe and not doubt, ask God… You won't receive if you doubt, it makes you double minded. Every one withers and dies, rich and poor, so the best way is to cling to God, persevere through life. Crown of life is promised to those who love God. God does not tempt us, we are enticed by our own evil desire that conceives and gives birth to sin, sin full grown gives birth to death. Interesting the word PURE, the Joy that comes after you persevere through a trial is pure, the joy you have when you face trials is pure. PURE- uncontaminated- wholesome-unadulterated-unpolluted. Mankind pollutes joy by kindling it with temporary human fixes that can't persevere a trial like God's Pure Joy!
Obadiah 1:3-4

I'm sure you've bought a life insurance policy at some point in your life. Basically, what you are buying is security. It's very easy to understand. We pay a fee to the insurance company and the company would pay us according to the contract we had purchased. Have you ever really stopped to read the small print? Sadly, what is said in these contracts is not always what people understand them to say.
God's covenant with us is above and beyond any paper contract and the debt has been paid for us on the cross by God himself.
His contract promises life eternal and an abundant life as well. It is written in blood that washes away sin and no attorney has ever been able to discover any loopholes.
As we have seen and heard in the past few years of economic recession worldwide, people who trust in their own plans and insurance policies for their retirement will be disappointed. Nations that put their trust in their defense systems will see them wither under the pressure of human greed and politics. People who judge their worth and importance on where they live and what they know or what they own will be brought low. No matter how high we rise in our own mind - God will bring us down.

Assumptions are a presumption conjectured up by my enemy and they propped up every rationalization that has impulsively led me off course from God's purpose for me. Oh, they have messed with me over the years as I presumed on God's Grace, kindled my own fires and walked by a man-made light, that of course eventually flamed out, leaving me in the dark and very discouraged! I have learned that presumption does have a way of debasing the door knob to Genuine God Truth! Assumptions are the opinions of our enemy and I say from experience that we don't give them any voice in our mind. Kick them promptly out, because they don't lead anywhere except a dead end street where "pouty parties" are thrown all the time, parties which God does not attend but discouragement, despair, despondency do and eventually depression takes up residency with your soul! I literally hate presumption and all the junk that runs with it, I would so rather be found in the flow of God's Kingdom purpose any day, anytime, anywhere than for my life to track with presumption. AWE-GOD!

Sick Unto Death
"For indeed he was sick almost unto death; but God had mercy on him, and not only on him but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow" (Philippians 2:27).
Friends and family who suffer from chronic illnesses are candidates for God's grace, and our love and attention. It is extremely difficult to see a loved one languish through cancer, Alzheimer's and dementia. Once they smiled with joy, now they ache in pain. Once their body was hefty and healthy, now they are hollow and disfigured. The person we once knew now seems nonexistent.
They may be physically alive, but emotionally and mentally detached. However, it is in their weak condition that you honor them by providing strength. Even if they lived a self-serving life, continue to serve them as a testimony to your siblings, spouse and children, and in obedience to Christ's command. Service to the sick is an opportunity to be like Jesus, so by God's grace represent Him well.
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." Matthew 25:35-36
God may not heal them in this life, but He does provide mercy and grace for comfort and endurance. I do not like the smell of the sick, it makes me nauseous and nervous, but serving the sick is not about my hang-ups. It is about heaven's help, salvation's cure and prayer's path to peace. Inconvenient illness is an opportunity for us to illustrate other centered living.
Be very patient with your spouse who is unable to care for you as well because they are in a season of extreme service to their parent. You can help by seeking out experts in law and finance to assist your dying loved one and help them steward well their departure. Sickness is the Lord's pause to ponder what's really important in life. So enjoy any time of interruption to love your loved ones and friends who are sick unto death.
"When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, He was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. "Where have you laid him?" He asked. "Come and see, Lord," they replied. Jesus wept. Then the Jews said, "See how He loved him!" (John 11:33-36)

Some experts believe that acute stress can provoke changes in the heart that may lead to death. In one study, fifteen cases were identified in which people died after a physical assault, even though the injuries alone were not enough to kill them. Eleven of the fifteen showed a type of heart-cell death, similar to a reaction in experimental animals that feel helpless to anticipate or avoid danger.
We live in a day that godlessness is on the rise -- a day in which the world (and even some of the church) is motivated by money, power and the desire for worldly pleasures -- a day in which the fruit of this behavior is apparent even to the worst of us. It's a scary time.
Even amidst these frightful times, though, isn't it wonderful to know that we don't have to pretend we're not afraid? God knew we would be afraid from time to time. But He encourages us to redirect our attention to put our trust again in Him. He, who is all powerful and watches over us intently. What a gracious and compassionate Father we have!
Kimberly, let's ask the Lord to help us keep our focus on trusting Him for all things. When we are focused on this, there's no stopping us from doing the great things He has called us to do! So true, I like the part about redirecting your trust! We live in a crazy world where lust-greed often turns violent! We are afraid at times, but we can redirect the fear to faith-trust in our AWE-GOD!
It is scary in this world at times and my anxiety level shoots up and I have to realign myself, position myself in God's Kingdom purpose flow!

I sure will! One thing I learned through my many years of ministry that my kids always remembered the "quality" time not the quantity time. Their best memories were when I was ALL IN with them, not distracted by my ministry, but completely focused on them and that was "quality" time! I will pray that for you. It is so difficult when there is much happening at once, but you learn to discipline yourself to be ALL In with them when you are home with them and you learn it by letting go and knowing God's Got This and together You, God and your kids can make a "quality time" memory. If you are not "All IN" with them, then it is a lopsided memory and it doesn't stand through time... You want to make memories that they will remember. When I was counseling, I literally had to close the files, me and God before I went home. Sometimes it helps to mark an X through your calendar day, close the file or do something that sets with you as a sign between YOU and God, that helps you let go and be ALL IN with your family and have some quality time together. Have a great weekend!

Genesis 20
- Oh My Gosh…. Abraham does the same thing, falls back into the same pattern of fear and does the same wrong thing and once again, God delivers Sarah for the sake of His bloodline to Jesus. Lord, forgive us human beings who keep allowing fear, doubt and lack of trust in You to repeat the same foolishness!
- Abimelech was horrified when he found out the Sarah was married and He cried out to God and said: I am innocent. God then told him that he protected his integrity and kept him from sinning against HIM by revealing the hidden sin. I thought that was so cool. God protected his integrity. I think of all the times I have believed someone and they were lying and how God protected me, showed me the truth. I love that about God.
- I protected you, now you do the right thing… that is what God said to Abimeliech. This is our response to God revealing darkness, our response to this miracle is to do the right thing.
- Abraham rationalized his sin… he did it protect himself because he took matters in his own hands in a new situation, did not trust God, but trusted in himself 1st.
- Wow, the Lord closed off all the wombs of the women because there was sin in the house, amazing… and then when Abraham made things right, and prayed to God, He opened them back up.
- Interesting how God kept using Abraham, even after the second time with the same sin. I too am a long learner at times, but once I get it, I get it… I wish and hope to make the right choice the 1st time.
Genesis 21
- The Lord did for Sarah as He had promised! I love reading that, I will read it over and over again! The Lord did for Sarah as He had promised! AWE-GOD! Faithfulness! He is trustworthy!
- The consequences of Abraham's sin was dealing with Hagar and her son, the pain of sending them away must have been terrible.
- Hagar's attitude did not change toward Sarah and because of that God sent her away. Yet He took care of her and honored that her son was Abraham's descendent and took care of them miraculously.
- God is honorable and shows that honor by His Mercy.
- God heard the boy crying and then as Hagar prayed to God, He told her not to fear and the cool thing is when she opened her eyes, there was not only water, but an abundant supply of water, a whole well. I feel that way when I cry out to God when I am in a desperate need, He always supplies what I need and He does it in such a purposeful, abundant way.
Genesis 22
Genesis 22: 6-18
- God tested Abraham's love and trust by asking him to take Isaac, his only son, the sign of the promise God has given and sacrifice him. When he told the two servants to stay and he and his son would go and return, He was speaking forth his faith, his trust in God.
- Abraham passed the test of love, because He was willing to sacrifice all for God, He put God 1st above everything. Help me Jesus to put YOU 1st above every love, every desire, every expectation, every hope I have today!
- It was so cool when Abraham raised his eyes, God had provided a ram stuck in the thicket by his horns. God made a way out for Abraham, He provided a sacrificial lamb so Isaac would not have to die. It was as if God was showing Abraham what would happen to all of His descendents, God would provide a Sacrificial Lamb, His Son, Jesus Christ Who would die for our sins, once and for all, that we might live! God showed Abraham a preview of what God Himself was willing to do because of His love for us. Abraham's heart mirrored God's heart of sacrifice for salvation from sin. Abraham chose to obey God the 1st time, even though his obedience would require an extreme sacrifice. God was showing us that salvation always is seeded by sacrifice. When we work out our salvation, it is by sacrifice. We obey our God, because we have accepted His gift of sacrifice, Jesus Christ and we in turn sacrifice submissively for our salvation to glow God's Glory. Salvation is exercised through obedience actively instituted by sacrifice. Salvation without sacrifice is not a call to God 1st. Putting God 1st requires sacrifice of our personal wants, hopes, dreams, expectations and desires. When we gave our life to Jesus Christ, He gave to us His eternal life in a beautiful exchange. Salvation is freely given, yet it is not freedom unto selfishness, but unto selflessness. We live because Jesus sacrificed for our salvation. Salvation always involves sacrifices of our earthly rights in exchange for heavenly freedom. We are the Bride of Christ, so is our salvation sacrificial? What has happened to the sacrifice of our salvation? Bride of Christ, are we called to God 1st. Are we willing to sacrifice for our salvation the rights and things of this world so the Kingdom of God can come on earth as it is in heaven? Abraham was willing and God sent him a sacrificial lamb. God has also sent us a Sacrificial Lamb, Jesus Christ, His Son, Who willessly laid down all for us as a sacrifice for our salvation. Does your salvation mirror His? Are you ALL In With Jesus as Abraham showed He was All IN with God?
Romans 8
- Flesh? Spirit? You can tell where you mind is set. Here on earth or on Kingdom things.
- Mind set on the flesh your thoughts lead to a dead end and continous restlessness. Mind set on the Spirit your thoughts are of life and peace.
- Those who are in the flesh cannot please GOD. Oh so many people rationalize their sin, but the truth is they can't please God. The number one thing of our life actions is to please God and when you are in habitual sin, you can't ever please HIM. He does not fellowship with sin.
- Living life in the Spirit of God, not the flesh, but through the spirit is great because God dwells with us. I love how it says, God will quicken your mortal body, Oh how I need that! Jesus!
- We don't live according to our fleshly feelings, we live by Truth and Spirit. If we die to the things of our fleshly body, we will live.
- We are being led by the Spirit of God, therefore we are the Sons of God. We can't say we are being led by God when we are having sex outside of God's plan for us.
- Set free from corruption unto the Glory of Go!
- We all groan in this human condition, it is difficult and hard at times and we wait for God to redeem us from this earth unto His Kingdom, we wait in hope and we wait with perseverance.
- Thank you Holy Spirit for helping me in my weakness and interceding for me according the will of God.
- When I cry out of my human weakness to You, Holy Spirit, You intercede for me according to God's Will for me! There is no greater #prayer
- Hoping for what we do not see is waiting for it with great eagerness and expectation All In With our AWE-GOD
- God's purposes are in play for us every single moment, He is exchanging our worldly minutes for His Kingdom purpose which always eventually blooms in His goodness.

- When we live our lives called to God 1st, His purposes engage and are in play in our lives, forming in His perfect Kingdom will
- Just as if we never sinned, God calls us according to His purpose, which is to shape our inner spirit in the image of His Glory. Every day God's purposes are in play in our lives to accomplish this. When we are called to God 1st, His purposes become our major life goals.
We hope to be positioned squarely in the flow of His Kingdom purposes, because in them we are shaped for Him, by Him and unto His Glory. Kingdom purpose may not look and feel the way we think they should. Sometimes God's Sovereign Purposes at play in our lives is very hard to humanly swallow, yet it always bring forth His Sovereign Will for us. The Sovereign Will of God is never separate from His Infinite Love, the two go hand in hand. The Sovereign Will of God never separates us from His Love. If God decides to put His purposes in play in our lives and they look like distress, trial, tribulation, persecution, then we know without a doubt that the feel of God's purposes in play, does not separate us from the love of God. God's ways are not our ways, therefore His Kingdom purposes at play in our lives might not always be the way we would choose to be shaped in His Image. That is why when we feel God's Sovereign will is too hard, unfair, hurtful we should know that His purposes always are eventually for our best, His Kingdom good and He never leaves us without His Infinite love. Therefore, we cling to God's Love, we dig our roots deeper in His Kingdom and we persevere in the hope of what we don't see, but we know without a doubt that God's Kingdom purpose at play in our lives will bring about Kingdom Good! - Romans 8:28-39 Kingdom Purposes In Play

Sacrificial Salvation

Has the sacrifice gone out of your salvation? When I look at Abraham, I wonder if it has. It was so cool when Abraham raised his eyes to see that God had provided a ram in the thicket. Wednesday Wanted!! Make your "Most Wanted List" today, all those around you that God has "Purposely Placed In Your Life-Path". Those you know need JESUS, need a change of eternal destiny, the change that only salvation can bring! Make a list of them and intentionally-purposefully-diligently pray for them each week. I pray on Wednesdays, I call Wednesday my "Wednesday Wanted Day"! I hope huge for the salvation of others, calling their names out to our AWE-GOD!
Very True! And better yet because of this amazing Grace, God's Love abounds in the heart of mankind and sin become scarce as we who love Jesus with all our hearts make the right choice 1st, from moment to choice we are being called to Jesus 1st! We Are The Bride Of Christ… HIS Church! AWE-GOD!
LOL good luck with that one... in our culture of business with no end, 40 hour day means 50 and 60-70 means success. I think if our days are ordered by the Lord every minute is redeemed in purpose and therefore 10 am is good, because whatever time is given to HIM is worth much more than the time we strive to kindle our own fires and walk by a man made light. I think when God allows sickness to touch our lives, it slows us to a quiet place where as thing song says our hope is positioned in a place where Only God Remains and it is in that place where true healing begins, the healing that touches us wholly=Body, Soul, Spirit…. So after God heals our body, restores our strength we step out aligned with HIM. That is why sometimes these little irritating flu's and stomach bugs do serve a God purpose because they bring us to a place like this song says: Where Only He Remains! LOL... been there and done that!! When my mind races like that.... and I have the personality where it loves to do that... To slow it down, I just take the thoughts and I flip them from me trying to figure things out, to giving them to God and praying for His help, His intervention, His purposes to prevail. I ask for His wisdom and His way and instead of wrestling with the situations, I am handing them over to God and eventually I do drift off to sleep! It does help! Lv ya! I pray God strengthens you for the things you need to do today
YOU VERSION READING PLAN- THOUGHTS AS I READ:
Genesis 18-19
- It was so ridiculous to their understanding what God told them that Sarah laughed, yet God reaffirmed what He meant and told them there was not anything too difficult for Him
- God choose Abraham and He choose Him to obey and make the right choices, to model righteousness to his family.
- Abraham questioned God about His judgement, not understanding how the character of God which He saw as goodness could slay the righteous with the wicked.
- So God took into account what Abraham said and said if He found 50 righteous He would spare the city.
- So Abraham kept asking God and God kept saying, I won't destroy and they got down to the number of 10.
- It is so incredible that Lot was so afraid that He was going to give his own girls to those bad men. That just disgusts me and shows me were greed takes a person, always trying to protect their "stuff" and their way of life so much that they go to extremes in sin!
- The two angels saved lot, even though he did not deserve it.
- Lot still reasoned with the angels, looking out for himself once again, and the angels agreed to let him change the plan and go to a smaller city nearby. Mercy…
- Lot's wife did not obey and she looked back and became a pillar of salt. If God gives you a way out, take it and never look back, go forward with Him
- Once again human beings take matters into their own hands, not trusting God, but kindling their own fires.
Romans 7
- The Law of God has jurisdiction of all of us- forever!
- Married until death in God's eyes. If you marry someone else while your 1st husband is till alive, you commit adultery and need to be forgiven by God.
- We are joined to Jesus and we die to the law through Jesus' sacrifice for us. Joined to Jesus we can bear fruit for God.
- We serve God through Jesus Christ's righteousness, not through the dead letter of the law. The law becomes part of our heart, not activated by our will, but written in our heart. We love God, we obey God, the two are synonymous!
- I know what I am to do through the law and I do it through the power of Christ in me.
- The old law, people would sin and then once a year they would confess their sins, but it did not stop them from sinning. The new, Jesus Christ, brings in a relationship with Jesus, not rules and regulations, makes the law alive in us. We are not living to "do", we are living to be found in Christ. We are no longer shackled to sin, because Jesus died and became the final sacrifice for us, so now we are free to live, making the right choice the 1st time.
- God's law is His common sense and holy counsel for us. It is wise that we follow it, because it brings life to us and keeps us in a state of healthy soul living.
- God has figured out what is best for us and He asks us to trust HIM, trust His common sense counsel and do it.
- Jesus set things right by being the power behind the law. He reaches our heart and mind and strengthens us against the power and influence of sin.

Thoughts and feelings run wild in the midst of crises, but those are exactly the times we need to be careful about making decisions. I often say to myself, "Let emotions subside before you decide."
We must remain calm and discipline ourselves to focus on doing what we can do and trust God to do what we can't do. Instead of drowning in worry and fear, get in touch with God, who sees past the storm and orchestrates the big picture. God makes sure everything that needs to happen in our lives happens at the right time, moves at the appropriate speed, and causes us to arrive safely at the destinations He has planned for us. And when they had prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they continued to speak the Word of God with freedom and boldness and courage.
There are too many unhappy born-again, Spirit-filled believers who don't know what it's like to remain full of the Spirit of God by acknowledging Him and pursuing His ways daily. The Holy Spirit is in them, but they don't let the evidence of it show up in their normal, day-to-day life. Joyce Meyer

Do you not discern and understand that you [the whole church at Corinth] are God's temple (His sanctuary), and that God's Spirit has His permanent dwelling in you [to be at home in you, collectively as a church and also individually]?
It's true that God will always help us when we come to Him. But if we want constant victory, we need to take God out of our "emergency only" box and invite Him into our everyday lives. Joyce Meyer
When Jesus died on the cross, He opened the way for us to get personal with almighty God. If God had wanted an "emergency only" relationship, He might just visit on occasion, but He certainly would not have come to take up permanent residence within us.

2012 Awaken My Worship! Gratefulness! Lord today I want to thank you for your protection that is always around me. I take it for granted that YOU protect me according to Your Perfect Kingdom Purpose. Thank You Lord Jesus! I am grateful.
A side thought is how God protected us, His Children from death through the sacrifice of the Gift of Salvation, our Jesus, our righteousness. Every day we walk in this protection, we are assured that nothing can take our eternal life from us. Awe-God!
Even so... we are protected here on earth according to the flow of God's Purposes for us. I drove from Pinehurst to Fletcher 4 hours unknowingly on a tire that had nails in it and a bad stem. Made it safely to Fletcher, got up a couple days later the tire was flat. God's purposeful protection. It is so Awe-God!

2012 Awaken My Worship! Jesus! Gratitude! Today I want to express my gratitude to God for this season in my life. The economy has caused the construction industry to "hit the road"! You are no longer a project manager in your hometown, you go where the work is and you are a traveling superintendent. In three years we have moved six times to six different cities. I am grateful for this You have purposefully used this to strip my roots in this world and things of this world, cling tightly to YOU and in this, my roots are growing deeply attached in Kingdom soil, causing me to learn how to bloom where I am planted as I step into the flow of Kingdom purpose. Thank You God for this hard season of life, it has produced much growth in me. AWE-GOD!
