John 14:10-12

Developing My AWE-GOD With An Attitude Of Gratitude!

Jesus, my 2012 AWE-Gratefulness today is all about YOUR Peace. I am so thankful for it. Growing through seasons of life where my comfort zone is truly being stretched by Your purposes in play in my life, I am grateful for YOUR consistent, constant, powerful, present, peace. It is Your peace that holds my feet to the sway of Your Sovereign Will for me. I am so grateful for YOUR peace as it saturates my soul and leaves an atmosphere of hope to undergird my emotions. I love Your peace Lord, keep it flowing. So grateful! Jesus!

God You knew all along that this season of my life that went into kicking and screaming was just what I needed, even if it wasn't what I wanted. I am seeing a glimmer of heavenly hindsight now. Thank You Jesus!

M.E.A.L…. Meet With God! Examine The Word! Apply It To My Life! List My Learn!

@brucefrank1 Challenged us to 7/30! 7 Days-30 Min. in the Bible! MEAL: Meet With God/Examine The Word/Apply It/ List What You Learned.

John Chapter One 7/30 Challenge Start In Verse 19

Meet: Jesus please be with me this 30 minutes, Holy Spirit open the Word up to me, reveal to me everything I can't see, open my heart to new revelation. AMEN

Examine: I love how verse 20 says John "confessed- admitted and revealed-spoke" the truth

More Prophecy Fulfilled : Due 18:5 "The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him. This was John The Baptist

Examine: John was asked who He was and He immediately pointed them to Jesus.

Apply: John's life was not about Him, He announced His call to God, He pointed those who questioned Him to a focus on Jesus.

Prophecy Fulfilled: Isaiah 40:3 A voice is calling,"Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God.

List: John met them with the wisdom that they would understand, showing them a path of prophecy from Isaiah. He reached for the very intellect he knew they stumbled over, to present the truth.

List: John was sent to prepare the way of the Lord- to focus people on Jesus

Examine VS24 The Pharisees tried to trip him up with questions that evoked his pride that questioned his God given calling and authority. He once again pointed them to Jesus, took the focus off himself.

List: Prophecy Fulfilled: Malachi 3:1  "Behold, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming," says the LORD of hosts (NASB)

Apply: VS 27 Love the humility in the calling of John The Baptist. Lord keep this humility in me as I am called to YOU 1st. Keep me from justifying my followship, from engaging with the human condition of pride- help me Jesus to be like John the Baptist, to have the wisdom to point people to you in all humility, being ALL In for YOU alone.

Examine: VS 29"Behold, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming," says the LORD of hosts

Apply: John is so amazing. He has his ministry, yet as soon as He see's Jesus, He acknowledges Him and sets himself publically underneath Jesus' authority.

Immediately John Spoke with such authority: Look There Is The Lamb Of God… and immediately Jesus gave John favor in His testimony: VS 36 And he looked at Jesus as He walked along, and said, Look! There is the Lamb of God!37  The two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Him.

Apply: John's Focus Was Jesus! He Pointed People To Jesus! And John Had The Authority Of Jesus In His Life, Because As Immediately As John Spoke Look- There Is Jesus- People Looked – Turned – Followed Jesus! Let it be so in us. I pray Lord I will be called to You 1st and I pray for Your anointing upon my pointing people to YOU! AMEN!

List: John was not about ministry or about himself, he did not defend his ministry, jump into a theological discussion about why he had the authority to do what he was doing when he was confronted, He pointed them to Jesus, to the fullness of truth. He did not argue with them. John was a man sold out, All-In with Jesus and His 1st call was to HIM, He recognized immediately when Jesus was present and immediately pointed everyone around himself to Jesus. He spoke of His allegiance to Jesus and His position as a servant, lifting Jesus higher than himself or his ministry. Jesus was 1st in John's life and it was obvious and spoken.

Praying for everyone taking the 7/30 challenge this week by @brucefrank1! Word Of God Speak! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYu8ZyETnKo #BBConline Meet With God!

"May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. A loving doe, a graceful deer—may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be captivated by her love". Proverbs 5:18-19

A midlife crisis means you are most likely discontent. Your may be discontent with your wife, your work, and your car. However, the Bible is very clear about being content with what or who God has blessed you with, especially your spouse. His desire is for you to want what you have, and not obsess over what you don't have. Remember the bride of your youth, and celebrate her coming out party.

Perhaps you married her because she was cute, cuddly, cared about you, and she loved Christ. Those are compelling characteristics that hopefully have grown over the years. Be joyful in Jesus, and grateful to God that He has given you a woman who walks with Him, and wants to be with you. Rejoice in the wife of your youth, as she keeps you young and yearning for Yahweh.

"I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances." Philippians 4:11

Moreover, be captivated by the love of your wife. Her capacity and willingness to love you will grow, as you consistently and unconditionally love her. What wife will not embrace her husband, who serves her like His Savior Jesus serves? Love and respect creates love and respect, as it is a Christ-like cycle. Be captivated by the love of your wife, knowing she was given to you by God. You chose her, so be pleased with your choice; in His providence He pronounced you "husband and wife".

Lastly, a wife captivates her husband with her kind character, and attractive looks. You wooed the husband of your youth by your sweet spirit, your delightful smell, and your inviting beauty. Be very intentional to make your love interesting to your man who may easily get bored in the bedroom. Let the distractions of life, and the activities of raising children rank second to your captivating love for each other. The "grass is greener" is the will of God, which means remaining faithful to one another.

"And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So your God will rejoice over you." Isaiah 62:5b

Prayer: How can I love my wife in a way that brings alive her captivating love?

Habits

Habits seem to sometime be a word with a negative connotation. Habits can be a positive word if you do them daily, they will serve you well. Bad habits done daily will enslave you. Habits can be an anchor to hold you down or the wind beneath your wings that cause you to fly and sail. What are the bad habits I have, what are the good habits I have. You can change your habit, it is your choice and it takes time, but with intentionality and patience the bad habits can change.

Verse Of The Day@biblegateway.com

1 Corinthians 1:18

Crucified Is God's Power and Wisdom

18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

New International Version (NIV) Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica

Notes From Listening To 1 Corinthians Chapter One:

Called to be an apostle by the will of God… Sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be Holy. Grace and peace to you from God our Father. Thank God for you because of His Grace. In God you are enriched in every way. The testimony about Christ is confirmed in you. Jesus will keep us strong to the end, blameless. God is faithful. Agree with one another so there is no division among you, united in mind and thought. I follow Christ, Christ is not divided. You are baptized into the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus sends us to preach the gospel in the power of God. The message of the cross is the power of God. God will destroy the wisdom of the wise. Where is the wiseman, God makes foolish the wisdom of the world. God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save the lost. Christ crucified is the power of God, the wisdom of God. The foolishness of God is wiser than mans wisdom, the weakness of God stronger than mans' strength. We are not wise by human standards, not of noble birth, but God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. The lowly, despised things are for no one to boast before Him. Jesus is our wisdom from God, righteousness, holiness and redemption. Boast? Boast in God!

My Thoughts About This = Miraculous Musings! J

I am called to Jesus and my 1st call is to Jesus. I am called to be Holy, filled with God's Grace, experiencing God's peace. God's life is confirmed in my life actions and Jesus has promised to keep me blameless. Agreement is a good thing, it unites us in mind and thought and to follow Christ is not to be divided, He is the unifier, the common denominator. I will be different from you, shaped and designed differently, but our common denominator is still Jesus Christ

The last days are upon us. You didn't ask to be born when you were. God chose you to be alive now. With that choosing comes all the grace you need to stand and be a hero of faith in these awesome days. Embrace His grace, embrace the tremendous privilege that is yours. Like the three young men in the fiery furnace, say boldly and courageously, "Our God is able to deliver us, but even if He doesn't, we will not bow." Barbara Richmond

Isaiah 43: 18 Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.

What does it mean to your situation? Think about it. To me it means I have to cut the strings to my past the choke God's life out of me. I need to not even consider those things in my past, but look forward. My focus needs to be on God… I need to fully face god and wait on Him, because He wants to do something new in me!

Have a great week. I am praying for you!

Loneliness is a tough thing. For me it is my thorn that God has not taken away. I have suffered with it for a long time, especially this season in my life it has been enhanced, if you know what I mean. It causes me to draw close to God, knowing He can heal me, He is with me and by His Grace I can "grow through" these tough seasons of my life.

I am praying for you today, may God's Spirit bring you peace in your day, may His peace saturate your soul in a way that it leaves an imprint of HUGE HOPE! May you know joy, even though you struggle with loneliness, I pray God will bring you joy as you get to know HIM more each. May you be a conqueror if your loneliness today because of Jesus, because He keeps you in His love. Enjoy your week. Praying for you today!

No Matter Where You Are- What You Are Feeling! Healing Is In God's Hands!

Romans 8:36-39

Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors [a]and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things [b]impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers,

39Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Just settling into this lonely season of my life. Realizing it is lonely for a reason, God has me some things to do! LOL! When we moved here from Columbus, it was totally unexpected and very sudden, I felt like I sneezed and I was lliving somewhere else, something I did not plan. It is very lonely here. I don't know anyone here. The Loneliness was crippling me, keeping me from being able to write and do the things God has called me to do until I realized that God was using this season for HIS Purpose and I needed to let go and let HIM direct my life, and since then, I am still very lonely, but I am able to direct it to the purposes God has for me. Thanks for caring sweet girl!

I pray God blesses you with a God-strength that rises up above everything and helps you fully face God this week! Know that even if your season of life seems so out of sorts, that God has a plan, His purposes are flowing right now in your life and for your best. I know I went into this season of my life kicking and screaming, it wasn't what I wanted, not even close to what I imagined for me at this time of my life. God was so gracious with me, met me where I was at and brought me to a place of trust, of not having to see the end result, but just kind of knowing He's Got This!! God knew all along I needed this season, even if I did not want it and I am beginning to see a glimmer of some heavenly hindsight in it! LOL!

Hebrews 5:7 While he lived on earth, anticipating death, Jesus cried out in pain and wept in sorrow as he offered up priestly prayers to God. Because he honored God, God answered him. Though he was God's Son, he learned trusting-obedience by what he suffered, just as we do. Then, having arrived at the full stature of his maturity and having been announced by God as high priest in the order of Melchizedek, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who believingly obey him.

Joyce Meyer: Promises for Your Everyday Life - a Daily Devotional

Prayer is so powerful because it joins the hearts of people on earth with the heart of God in heaven. When we pray, we connect with God, and He affects our daily lives beyond our comprehension.

I believe prayer is one of the greatest powers available in the entire universe. That may seem like a bold statement, but it's true!

Prayer opens the door for God to work. It is the activity that you and I can engage in on earth when we need the power of heaven to come into our lives and bring wisdom, direction, encouragement or a miraculous breakthrough. Prayer connects us to the power of God, and that is why it is a greater force than anything else we can ever imagine. Even Jesus needed to pray and receive this power when He was on earth.

Only God's power can bring peace, instill joy, grant wisdom, impart a sense of value and purpose to a person who doesn't know what to do in life, and work every kind of miracle. Joyce Meyer

Do you want to see that power work in your life? Then make prayer a priority.

Prayer Starter: Lord, the power of prayer is absolutely astounding. I want to connect with You and see You work in my life, so I make a commitment now to remain in a constant state of prayer with You.
