2 Samuel 22:29-32

For You, O Lord, are my Lamp; the Lord lightens my darkness. 30 For by You I run through a troop; by my God I leap over a wall. 31 As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried. He is a Shield to all those who trust and take refuge in Him. 32 For who is God but the Lord? And who is a Rock except our God? Amplified Bible

Developing My AWE-GOD With An Attitude Of Gratitude!

AWE-God Gratefulness 2012! I am so grateful to be able to freely celebrate Easter and talk up and remember with JOY the sacrifice my Savior, Jesus Christ put into my salvation. Lord, I am grateful for my freedom to worship YOU, may I never take it for granted, may I always be truly thankful for it. Freedom matters, I have always known it, but not always been as grateful for it as I should be. AWE-GOD!

Have you noticed in our culture how "Isolation" is growing. You can text, call, facebook, write and do whatever you can do to stay in relationship with people and they just don't care to respond. Makes you feel invisible at times. Ever felt that way? Invisible? Don't give up, keep trying... break through the isolation with the love of Christ that compels you.

A Seasoned Servant Of God Has Encouraged Me Today

Pastor Elliot Osowitt

Matthew 9:13 "Go and learn what this means: I desire mercy and not sacrifice. For I didn't come to call the righteous, but sinners."

Dear Bob and Kim,

Billy Graham was being interviewed by Larry King many years ago. Larry was very polite, but tried to back the beloved man of God into a corner. The questions turned to popular sin topics. Larry asked, "Dr. Graham, how do you feel about homosexuality?" His answer, "It is a sin and so is adultery, gossip, and other works of the flesh". Then Larry King asked, "How would you feel if one of your children was homosexual?" His response, "That child would need a lot of mercy and love".

Bob and Kim, I know you know that the church is a hospital for sinners. Let us never forget that ALL, not some, but ALL are sinners and fall short of the glory of God. Just as God looks past our sin and sees our need; so should the church be ready to minister and love sinners into the kingdom of God. We cannot control anything in the life of another, but we will be judged for our own choices. What have we done with the gifts of MERCY and GRACE? What does God desire from us?

Pray and meditate upon this question.  What does God really desire from me?  Now go and try to have a good day.

Pastor Elliott

My Thoughts About This = Miraculous Musings! J

I think this verse is so needed in our Christian culture. We and I mean I… I have gotten out of alignment with God's mercy by getting so involved in a "social issue" like homosexuality, that I have forgotten that my call is not a call to a "something" but to a "someone"~ Our 1st call is to God, we are to be called to HIM 1st. Out of this Holy Alignment comes mercy in the right order. We so want to be "right", but Jesus stood silent before His accusers. We are chatterboxes at times, always having to have the final say, but Jesus stood silent because He gave way for the Father GOD to have the final say. He had every right to justify himself, but He spoke the truth in love and then He waited for God to prove it. We take up the "cause" at times and our call to God gets shoved into the background. We don't have to prove anything, God proves it. We speak it in love and mercy and God proves it. We don't have to sacrifice everything for a "cause", God already did that, we can't top it. We need to sacrifice everything for a relationship with God 1st! It is so easy to get so "mixed up" in a cause to prove God is right, that we actually step on His Mercy. The platform of our lives should not be built out of the wood of the cross, it should be built in the shadow of the cross, where the Glory Glow of God's redeeming power breaks through the shadow of our human condition. Causes are good, but our call to God 1st is best. Good? Best? Hmmmmmmmmmmm! Staying holy aligned to God 1st is my goal in this life, standing in the shadow of HIS Cross and letting the warmth of His Glory illuminate my life!

©AWE-GOD! I Pray To You, I Place My Hope In You, Jesus!!! ©

1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. 15 And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled. and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.

Father God I pray for my friends who are so deceived by the issue of homosexuality, Jesus touch them and YOU draw them to the truth, prove it to them by Your Holy Spirit! Let Your Mercy break through their deception. Jesus! (Jonathan, Tina)

Strength and Peace

"The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace." Psalm 29:11

God gives strength and peace to those surrendered to Him. The benefits of being a dedicated believer in Jesus Christ include heaven's infinite resources. Sin sucks life from the soul and replaces it with fear, while faith compounds calm and offers energy. Man's methods may manipulate a false feeling of security, but God gives eternal security. Strength in the Lord replaces worry with hope—it's what gets us through demanding days.
How can we access Christ's calm and mighty power? What is the wisest route to experience the Almighty's assets on an ongoing process?  When we daily die to self and come alive to Christ we position ourselves to be empowered by the Holy Spirit. So, strength and peace come from giving in to God, not giving up on God. As we surrender to our Savior Jesus, we win—indeed it's where we confess our weaknesses that we become strong.
"I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief." 1 Timothy 1:12-13
For example, unresolved anger loses its control when you admit its influence and exile its occupation of your heart. Shame from past experiences dissolves in the face of your heavenly Father's love and forgiveness. You are freed up to flourish in faithful living when you embrace God's ownership of your life. The Lord provides for His own. He stewards well His servants. Because God possesses you, He gives you exactly what you need.
Your ongoing strength and peace is a by-product of  belonging to Christ. Resilience grows as your mind marinates on your Master Jesus' principles for living. Resolve is a rock of refuge when heaven is your hope. Peace is a significant allocation in your portfolio of faith that is generously given by your heavenly Father. Thus, thank Him for His help. And prayerfully look around you for others you can help find strength and peace in God.
"And Saul's son Jonathan went to David at Horesh and helped him find strength in God." I Samuel 23:16
Prayer
: Lord I surrender to your ownership of my life, I trust you for strength and peace.

My Thoughts About This = Miraculous Musings! J

I believe God is calling the Bride Of Christ to a constant-consistent-completely, teaching us to surrender to HIM completely from every moment to every choice. He desires a Holy Alignment to HIM with all His heart I know He hopes for the Bride of Christ to begin being righteous choice makers with a followship of HIM that leads us to making the right choice the 1st time. AWE-GOD! Make it happen in our hearts Lord Jesus! Call us to YOU 1st! Completely is the new "now" in the Bride of Christ! All IN With Jesus from every moment to every choice, making the 1st choice the right one.

A Minute With Maxwell

Making a commitment to serve, a commercial and marketing tells people what you want them to think you are. But when people spend time with you, they realize who you are. You need to talk service and walk service. Serving with great joy. Talk is cheap, but if you really want to change lives, not only talk it but walk service, because this is what changes hearts.

'Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem. We have abused power and called it politics. We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition. We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression. We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment. Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from sin and Set us free. Amen!' Billy Graham

Worthy News Brief @worthyemail.com

Kimberly, believe the promises of God as a child!
Matthew 18:3-4 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
One of my favorite "hidden" lessons in the Pesach (Passover) celebration "Seder" meal is the mystery of the "afikomen." This specially prepared meal-- during which the participants are reminded of Israel's supernatural deliverance from Egyptian slavery by the mighty hand of God-- also includes 3 particular pieces of matzah, (unleavened bread). These three are placed in a "matzah tash" -- a special pouch containing three compartments.
Some rabbis explain these matzot (matza in plural) as representing the three Patriarchs – Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Others suggest that they represent three individual groups of Jewish people – the Priests, the Levites, and the Israelites. However appropriate these explanations may be, they seem to fall short of adequately explaining the tradition in which the leader of the Seder breaks the middle matzah in two, and hides half of it in a white linen cloth until the end of the meal. As the children finish their meal, they begin to search high and low throughout the house for the afikomen – and the one who finds it returns to the leader of the Seder demanding a reward in exchange for returning it! At the conclusion of the Seder, according to Rabbinic law, a small piece of the afikomen must be broken off and eaten by everyone present, as a reminder of the Passover lamb.
What is this "afikomen"? And what could be the real meaning concealed in this ancient tradition? I suggest that the answer to this question may be discovered when we learn that "afikomen" is not a Hebrew word, but comes from the Greek word – ikneomai – which literally means, "I CAME!" May this not point to the reality that Messiah's first coming as the Passover "Lamb of God", was "hidden" in some way from the Jewish people, as the Lord Himself said? [Luke 19:42]
Is it simply coincidence that matzah is pierced and striped? Or might this also be a "hidden" and providential indication of Messiah's experience at His first coming? "He was wounded for our transgressions..." and, "by His stripes we are healed"; [Isa. 53]. Why was only the middle matzah broken? Because only the Son was "broken" for us? Why must the afikomen be wrapped in linen and hidden away? Because the Son who died was wrapped in linen and hidden away, and may only be found through inquisitive childlike faith.....which is richly rewarded....

Kimberly, there are so many wonderful mysteries hidden in the Hebraic roots of our faith – yet, to me, this one stands out boldly among them– that one must come to God with the faith of a child – not through intelligence, religious ritual, or human wisdom– but simply accepting His word and His promises as children, believing and trusting them. Isn't it beautiful that the Lord chose this humble way to reveal Himself?

How to Develop Your Gifts By Joyce Meyer

People ask me all the time how to discover and develop the gifts God has given them. Here are a few helpful steps that I've discovered:

1. Focus on the strengths God gave you. Concentrating on your strengths will help you fulfill the calling God has put on your life.

2. Exercise your gift. Find something you like to do and that you do well, and do it over and over again. Want to know what will happen? You will feel better about yourself because you won't be constantly failing.

3. Have the courage to be different. Unhappiness comes when you try to be like everyone else rather than embracing the unique person that you are.

4. Learn to cope with criticism. Have enough confidence in who you are in Christ that you can listen to others and be open to change without feeling you have to agree with their viewpoint or attain their approval.

God has planted greatness in you. Let today be the beginning of a great adventure as you step into the gifts He's given you.

Prayer Starter: God, I want to cultivate and develop the gifts You've given me. Give me the courage to follow You and develop the gifts and abilities You've put inside me.

Isaiah 30:15 (The Message)

God Takes the Time to Do Everything Right 15-17God, the Master, The Holy of Israel, has this solemn counsel:"Your salvation requires you to turn back to me and stop your silly efforts to save yourselves. Your strength will come from settling down in complete dependence on me—The very thing you've been unwilling to do. You've said, 'Nothing doing! We'll rush off on horseback!' You'll rush off, all right! Just not far enough! You've said, 'We'll ride off on fast horses!' Do you think your pursuers ride old nags? Think again: A thousand of you will scatter before one attacker. Before a mere five you'll all run off. There'll be nothing left of you— a flagpole on a hill with no flag, a signpost on a roadside with the sign torn off."
